The cartridge is an original and you cannot get a better quality than an original.Unfortunately, you also have to pay the price, which, as with all printers of all makes, is quite outrageous.With Epson, the opportunity to go 'compatible' is effectively reduced because the design of the printer and its inks seems to ensure that any use of non Epson products results in a trip to the repairers which will always cost more than the money saved. You simply cannot get at the printheads to effect cleaning or repair yourself.

Having been disappointed in the past with non original manufacturers inks, I have consistently striven to use only OEMs. The T1001"Rhino" cartridge represents the best value in terms of numbers of copies produced compared with smaller capacity cartridges. The quality is also excellent.The downside is that I still consider the cost to be very high (this was the best price I could find) and has increased massively over the last two years. The term "captive audience" comes to mind.

my printer died before I had a chance to use it. As with all Epsons, if you don't use them for a few weeks, the ink dries and clogs the head. Epsons can be repaired but at a cost. They are good printers, probably the besy for images of all kinds, but I bought a Canon; they provide separate replacable head blocks, which I think you can buy and fit yourself.Moral is, don't buy an Epson unless you are going to use it every day of the year.

What can you say about printer ink? It either works, in which case you get printed documents, or it doesn't, in which case you get a big squidgy mess. Well, I didn't get a big squidgy mess, so...Actually this has worked out fine for my SX515W printer. My only complaint is that most shops appear to only supply the smaller "Cheetah" type cartridges rather than these big "Rhino" sets which do last longer. Thankfully, Amazon had them...

Can anyone prove these are better than copies? I don't know. They do however fit well, last ages, dry quickly and offer up a good print (I don't do photos so can't comment on the quality there).It does help that I can claim these on my expenses. My view might be tainted if I was paying as they are very expensive. Having said that all the manufactures are at it from this point of view.

Works out cheaper in long run then getting individual cartridges and buying the "more ink Rhino" content ones than "Cheeta" packs. I tend to stick with originals, because I've found compatibles soon damage my printer and the ink quality isn't as good/long lasting, especially for photos. It would be better if price was lower, but guess that's with most print ink cartridges.[...]

I purchased the manufacturers cartridge as the previous compatibles didnt always work and when the ink was low (not empty) would not be recognised or with one didnt even print from a full cartridge. This worked first time and so far very pleased with cartridge. l have used this extra capacity cartridge before with no issues other than the cost compared to the compatibles.

Decided to purchase these ink catridges on the claim that they last much longer than the ordinary catridges by Epson, and they do. Prints are good quality, they do last longer than the normal ink catridges (and in my opinion do work out better value if your pritner supports them), although in my opinion they could be cheaper. Have been using them for more than a year now.

I have always found that the only way of getting continuously good printing results for my Epson printers is to use Epson cartridges. I accept that this is a "captive market" situation and one has to pay a price for this quality. I hope that one day Epson's prices will drop to a more competitive level.............may have to wait for a long time!!

l purchased these becasue the compatibles l had been using either didnt print or were not recognised even when quite full and had to get them replaced by suppliers. Too much hassle.l have not put these in as just getting last bit of ink that l can out of the current compatibles. These are expensive but normally do work.

Bought these because the standard epson ink catridges ran out really quick, and Epson said these'd do 1000 prints, I havent counted, but I have used them to print out many hundreds of pages of exam papers and still had lots of ink left. Really good value. Note these are double width, so check your printer supports them.

The item was a very good price and it arrived as described and within a few days of ordering. I've never had problems with originals yet, so although I haven't used this item yet as it replaces my small stock, I do not foresee any problems. I would recommend because of the competitive price and quick service..

This is a bargain, the large capacity fits my device, talks to it and I do not have to keep changing it. I have used non-genuine in the past to my cost. This is good and bigger than its more common but smaller alternative.It is annoying that I get asked to review it everytime I buy it.

Items ordered on Thursday, delivered Tuesday - can't fault that.Little bit of a problem getting the printer to recognise the cartridges, although it was obvious they were the genuine Epson cartridges I had ordered. Couple of power-offs fixed the issue.Highly recommended. thanks

Arrived promptly and as described, at a good price. I use these instead of compatable cartridges for photo work and these give good print runs on very colour intense A4 photos. Good value for money with superb print quality and no problems with my printer.
