This is an epson original cartridge, in XL style (which is twice the width of a regular size L cartridge).I think the untagged reference relates to an RF tag which is usually inside the packaging, why we need to know its untagged I'm not really sure ! I purchased with amazon prime from amazon.co.uk and it arrived next day.I personally avoid compatible cartridges, they often leak or have problems or the colour (in this instance black) isn't often as bright or vivid. I'd rather pay a bit more to know that my warranty isn't going to be affected and that I get the results I expect. It would be nice if Amazon send a recycling wallet or if Epson gave a pre-paid recycling envelope - There is somereference to recycling in the little piece of paper which comes with it.All in all an easy purchase experience, and a good ink experience and less than the rrp and other retailers.

Brilliant product, only a few pounds extra than the apple range equivalent and containing over three times as much ink (25.4ml). The product's RRP is good, but Amazon's price of £14.99 represents excellent value. Apparently it's meant to have the capacity to print 1000 pages - but time will tell!To my surprise the cartridge arrived in all the genuine Epson packaging so I'm not sure what 'untagged' means. As far as I'm concerned it's the real thing just like you see in the shops.Unfortunately not eligible for Prime, but quick First Class delivery from Indigostarfish nevertheless.

Make sure you purchase this cartridge for a compatible printer because it won't fit otherwise! It is double the width of a normal cartridge (Hence lasting twice as long!)Since installing I have had no problems and print quality has remained at optimum. The capacity of this cartridge is really great for me, as it means having to change it less as I print off masses of paperwork for uni.

The problem is with the printer. I have since receive a replacement. The black ink is not showing on the paper. Other colours are showing except the black ink. My epsom printer acknowledge and identified the cartridge correctly but, the ink is not showing on the paper. I will have to order the smaller version. I will advice customers to think carefully before ordering this item.

Having tried refilled/ copycat cartridges for my Epson Workforce printer and having occasional problems with them being recognised and blocking up, I have reverted to using manufacturer's ones. Predictably they work as they should. Shopping around , and even checking out a loudly promoted Tesco offer, the same product from Amazon was several £££ cheaper.

This just arrived, and I wasn't sure about buying this as others have suggested that this isn't the real deal, but I can assure that currently, it is. It comes in the package with a photo of a stag and an Epson seal, you have to open that second bag within the package, and you have to peel off the yellow tag before inserting the cartridge. It works. End.

I've used Epson printers and inks for some years now and the finished printed copy whether text or photo has always been First Class. If you've an Epson printer use Epson inkOnly once did I use generic ink cartridge and the finished copy was poor. Also the cartridge leaked, made a hell of a mess and I ended up throwing a good printer away.

These genuine cartridges are high quality and have a very long life span compared to other Epson inkjet cartridges. The RRP is a little expensive compared to laser printing, but as the price fluctuates between £11-£18 and the use-by date is at least a year, stock up whilst closer to the £11 mark and you'll be a happy bunny!

I always use the proper inks for the printers that I use as it prevents clogging the jets, doesn't matter if the printer is HP or Epson. The inks are more expensive that refilled cartridges but the last time I used non standard cartridges the jets blocked and I had ink everywhere and ended up buying a new printer

I have been using genuine Epsom cartridges since finding "lookalike" ones caused numerous blockages on my printer over a period of time. Since using the genuine cartridges I have not had a single problem! This T1306 Stag package offers good value and lasts for a considerable number of prints.

Delivery poor by Royal SNAIL, not vendor's fault, order took 8 days to arrive! cartridges GREAT used on BX525WD used: Draft, Grayscale, full A4 printed page. just under 1,400 copies NO difference from usual EPSON product. 100% recommended, does what it says and price very good.

18.4.2012

Does what it says on the tin, being an original costs a lot more than a refurbished ink not sure why, if the cost would come down a lot more people would buy instead of buying compatible's but if you have to buy this company gave a very good service, fast delivery

Spot on, why pay more. I understand and agree with the rational behind using genuine ink. This is the genuine EPSON ink sealed package, why pay more for exactly the same product elsewhere. I took the chance because of positive feedback I urge you to do the same.

Epson makes very good quality ink, but can be very expensive. I have always used OEM genuine ink in my printer and have never had any issues. Photos (on decent photo paper) and documents look good and the XL cartridges last a while. Good ink and sensible prices.

19.10.2014

Not cheap but lasts far longer than most competitors. Used the Kodak ones which are cheaper but last 5 minutes so are not at all economical. These give good quality prints and don't dry out if not used for a while and last a long time. You get what you pay for.
