I decided when I bought my latest printer that I would only use the official print cartridges. I have in the past used cheaper compatible types which just are not as good quality, reliable or last as long as the genuine ones. The were two types of black cartridge available for my printer (350 black and the 350xl black). I went for the 350xl as you get just over 7 times more ink than the 350 type. Even though I paid nearly 3 times more for this it was far better value. The print quality is good enough even on a fast draft option for general unimportant stuff and fast normal for letters etc.I also got a freepost envelope with it to post back original cartridge for recycling so I suppose I've donea good deed for the environment! To summarise you can't match the quality of the official cartridges and I would get the largest size available if you can afford it for the better value. The only thing I cant say is how long the cartridge lasts (1000 pages would probably be based on a draft setting).

The Cartridge that I bought from Cartridge Point was original and new and was slightly more expensive than the non-original ones, but a lot less than if you buy it from a high-street store.I have purchased a non-original one in the past, but I've learnt my lesson the hard way, when the very first time I bought a non-original long life one, my printer wasn't happy and I did the tricks suggested by the merchant, it finally worked on my printer but it didn't print 1000 pages, no, not even 100 pages, it was more like around less than 50 pages. I was really disappointed, as I thought I was being smart and saved a bit of money. The only negative of buying from Cartridge Point is that they don't have any sense of urgency,as they took their time in delivering the item. Yes, they were sent within the estimated delivery time. However with a £4 delivery fee they could've sent it by first class delivery. Nevertheless I still recommend them if your printer only likes the original.

I bought a cheap £50 scanner printer all in one. If I had bought one with seperate colour ink refills I would have been wiser and maybe the black would last longer as well. This is original ink, at a lot less than bricks and mortar cost.I am happy it works but sad I have to pay a fortune for refills at all! Should, ought to be open stopper and buy a little bottle and pour in refill ink, you'd think?Such is design in the modern age - cars, cheap Fords and the like, last longer than three years more like 10 years but other consummables...So I am very happy with seller and their service but grumbling cuz I am that way inclined lol where's my guitar I feel a tune coming on?I recommend this seller and would happily buy from them again. It is ink,it does what it is supposed to when asked.

The need to replace your ink cartridge appears faster than you would wish, and we all need to maximise the value obtained for our purchases. Enter the 350XL Black Viviera ink cartridge from HP. This version is good for 1000 pagwes and if you do a lot of printing, it makes sound economic sense to buy this version. Even if you only print a few pages at a time, 1000 pages will take a long time to print out before you need to replace the catridge. When it is time to replace it, you will certainly buy another 350XL and the price from Cartridge King via Amazon makes the buy an even wiser choice. Crisp dark, jet black print always looks impressive and your letters and documents will be transformed to a high professional level. This cartridge is a definite winner.

I believe that the ink in original manufacturers'cartridges is now the most expensive liquid on earth - you could buy heavy water for less. HP are probably the most expensive of the lot, so any reduction on their eye-watering prices are to be welcomed. Of course, the reason you can buy a wonderful HP printer for so little is because HP make money from ink, not printers. HP's high-capacity cartridges are definitely cheaper per page (caution: don't work out the price per page, you'll just give up printing) and this supplier provides HP cartridges at the lowest prices I've seen. Recommended. Not recommended are compatible cartridges - I've tried several in earlier printers and the results were never as good as with the manufacturers'cartridges.

Having used so-called "compatible" inks for my HP all-in-one printer in the past, I now only use the GENUINE HP inks, for a number of reasons. The HP printer does NOT recognise these "compatible" inks, and I found that the cartridges did not last very long, therefore I was always having to buy another replacement very often. However, since I started using the Genuine HP cartridges, not only does the HP printer recognise them, but they seem to last for a very long time; I literally print hundreds of pages more than I did previously, before the ink runs out. Therefore it actually works out a lot cheaper in the long run. After continually searching the "web" I found that the cheapest cartridges are to be found on Amazon.

The product is good, arrived on time, is actually the XL version and my computer recognized the XL make. What makes this cartridge XL is the fact that it is actually about twice as big as the original cartridge however being concealed this is not actually an issue. If you can find two normal cartridges for cheaper then buy that than an XL. I thought that the XL meant more efficient ink which i don't believe it it simply means a larger cartridge. The reason for only 4 stars is that I haven't yet used up the ink due to very infrequent use. I would like to think, and it does appear so, from my use so far, that this is actually worth the extra money.P.s.i have a hp C4480 printer and this its recommended cartridge.

These are the only ink cartridges I have ever bought for my HP printer and the only ones I will choose as I prefer to have genuine branded products rather than any other. The ink cartridges are very easy to fit into the printer and they work well giving out good colours on documents and photos. They last quite a few months for me but I don't print a lot of things out regularly, usually it is photos I will print out. The price is more than I'd like to pay but I don't have any choice really, I do find it easier and cheaper to buy on amazon though rather than elsewhere. These are great replacements for ink on compatible HP printers, just a shame they are not a little cheaper.

After having bought "compatible" cartridges in the past, which I found didn't last very long (in spite of what was claimed) I purchased the genuine cartridges and I found that they lasted very, very much longer. Also the "compatible" cartridges were not "recognised" by my HP all-in-one printer, which meant that I had no idea how much ink was being used, or left in the cartridge - whereas both those issues were corrected with the genuine HP cartridges. All in all, I would recommend anyone to purchase the genuine article. They may be dearer to buy, but in the long run, the genuine ones work out much cheaper-plus the added benefits I mentioned above.

Too many times with this printer and with other makes, we have thought that buying generic cartridges would save money. It invariably turns out to be a false economy, particularly with a variety of HP compatibles we have used, they often dry up quicker or clog more often, and often require multiple clean outs to print properly which wastes ots of ink.We have decided to buy originals from now on, and these were at a good price. Note these are not the larger XL ones but compared to High Street prices reasonably good value. They just work, only last night printed of a batch of photos, good quality with no banding or streaks or missed bits.

I have been exceptionally pleased with my fuss-free, high quality, HP printer (C4280), but until now I have been forced to use re-manufactured cartridges due to the high cost. However, all this seems to changing dramatically. The XL cartridge offers substantially lower printing costs, compared with with the standard cartridges. But more importantly, it is now possible, I think for the first time, to buy thro Amazon at about half of the shop price. With this type of deal, I would strongly recommend this (and its sister colour 351XL) as being very good value indeed. I shall not be using re-manufactured any more

I resisted buying these and tried to find alternatives. So I refilled myself and I also went to cartridge world etc. In fact the re-fillers cost as much if not more to refill than to purchase an original and my attempts to refill were messy and not that successful. HP printers recognise only the three sequential codes of previously used cartridges- so this form of blocking can be bypassed. I have no respect for HP trying to force you to use their ink - but I cannot find an alternative that is as good as the original - and I cannot fault their product apart from price. Any alternatives? please let me know.

Sometimes buying a genuine product can be an expensive but satisfying experience. The good news is that this product wasn't that expensive and was yet satisfying. All i had to do was to put the cartridge in my printer and it started working straight away ( Never had to even align it ). A reasonably priced product which wont disappoint you at all. My ink levels did drop a bit after printing out just over 20 pages and it goes to show that if you are going to print a lot then you might as well go for the XL Cartridge. I print occasionally so this one fits fine for my needs. Highly recommended!!

My HP printer was telling me that it could not detect any ink cartridges installed even though they were definitely in place. I purchased these replacements being the cheapest ones available to see if it was the printer that was at fault or just the ink cartidges empty. As usual with Amazon, the product arrived next day and once installed, the printer confirmed that they were genuine products and started to work again as before. These cartridges are very small and I do not expect to get much life out of them but they did the job and next time I will buy the largest available from Amazon.

I have so much trouble with "compatible" and "re-filled" cartridges in any printer I use that now I only buy genuine. Given that these are genuine cartridges, I get the print quality and consistency that I expect. There's not much more to say than that, really. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that HP cartridges, wherever you buy them, are so darn expensive. It'd also be nice if they lasted a little longer, but then again, these last so much longer than the cartridges did in any of my old Epson printers... so in the long run these might actually represent value for money.
