Ink cartridges will always be expensive but I've saved by buying here and they came the next day without even asking for quick delivery. They are good quality and easy to install. However, I am struggling to find a way to 'turn off' the use of Photo Black when not printing photos. If you've not yet bought the printer and are doing research into supplies, it's something to bare in mind, as it is frustrating that it will not print at all when the Photo Black cartridge is low. It does seem to sometimes use the Photo Black when not printing photos but that might be to do with computer settings though...

What can one say about Ink Cartridges these days? It is compatible with my Printer. It was straight forward to install. The cost is reasonable for an Ink Cartridge. It would obviously be cheaper to have a subscription for Ink with Epson. However, one would have to print sufficiently often for that to be appropriate. I do not. Therefore, I buy the occasional solitary replacement cartridge. Generally, I find that even with occasional printing they do not last very long but such is the nature of printer technology it would seem.

Original cartridges are reasonably priced as far as I'm concerned. My experience of non-branded products is that they often give poor quality printing results and often give less pages than expected. Some don't even work at all and are a complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned! I'd prefer to pay a little extra and get something that I know will give good results than to waste my money.

Great printer ink, prints lovely photos and no danger of clogging up the printer head like spurious ink does. That happened to my last printer by using spurious ink, cheap to buy but expensive in the long run. A new printer head is more expensive than buying a new printer. Pity Epson ink is so expensive though but i'll be using genuine Epson ink from now on regardless of the price.

Bought this printer because of the photo black cartridge. Can't believe the difference this has made to my black and white photos. Won numerous competitions. Very impressed. If you just want a printer for printing text then a cheaper one would have sufficed with the normal 3 or ink cartridges. If you want brilliant, vibrant stand out pictures then I would recommend this printer.

Great ink at a brilliant price. What can I really say about this ink appart from it's the original ink and does what it says one the box. Only needed this black as I had spare for the other inks. This is the main one that goes doing black and white pages. Well worth the money and cheaper than anywhere else what more could you want.

An ink cartridge for my Epsom printer without which my printer will not print. A necessary item when I want to print a document or a photograph. I think they are quite expensive and don’t last as long as I’d like but the printer objects to cheaper cartridges so I have to buy these.

What can I say? Manufacturers OE so they should be good and work correctly. But why so expensive? Epson chips make it so that you are limited to their products. I have bought aftermarket cartridges but do not get through Epson security.I wasted so much time on them I gave up!

Its easy at times when looking for Printer inks, tempting to buy the cheaper inks, the original are sometimes more expensive but in the long run it saves you many problems. Shop around when looking for inks, its best to get the best quality, because printers are expensive.

Two things I find annoying about my Epson Xp - 520 printer:1. The multi pack of colour doesn't include photo black.2. my printer refuses to print if one ink cartridges is empty.Other than that it's a good printer, ink seems to be very decent if you buy the XL version.

These are original and totally different printing quality! The black ink is so much more blacker than the fake ones I've bought on Amazon in the past but they are expensive and with my kids printing out stuff like crazy I think I'll stick to the fake ones next time!!

Happy with the product. Just annoyed I have to buy so much of it. You buy the printer for a reasonable price and get stung for the rest of time replacing printer cartridges.It came in excellent time and got me out of a scrape needing to print some important stuff.

I have an Epson printer by choice, and as it is my belief that using epson inks helps extend the life of the printer, I buy epson inks. I would give this product 5 stars but the price, even through Amazon, is high hence my giving it only 4 stars

Not sure that you can really say much about a consumable! Received promptly, installed and working well.Bit pricey for what it is but other brands are just as bad and I prefer manufacturer's originals to remanufactured cartridges.

Epson printers are so annoying, in that if just one cartridges is empty, the darn thing will not print!!! Have just inserted this cartridge and the printer won't print as the Cyan is low. Is there a hack to get around this?
