I hate having to give this product five stars for two main reasons; firstly, they are insanely expensive. second, The estimate printed on the packaging of these cartridges will give over 500 pages is utterly misleading. The packaging does refer the buyer to epson.eu/pageyield where it qualifies it's estimates by referring to a couple of iso-standards. The biggest insult is that the standards are over £100 to purchase, so quite how any epson user is supposed to establish just how many 6 x 4 prints he's going to get from a set of cartridges is beyond me.having said all that, the results from these cartridges are amazing considering that printers they are designed for use only 4 colours when printing photographs.I am seeing on average anywhere around 350 6 x 4 prints per set of cartridge - which makes each 6 x 4 prints closer to 20p - absolutely staggering. The only saving grace is that the quality and sharpness of the prints far exceed those that I have got in the past from online services like photo box.The other reason I am having to buy genuine cartridges is that my attempt to try compatible cartridges was wholly disastrous. The colours and it seems the sharpness of prints made with compatible cartridges were a country mile away from those produced from the genuine article. Even after having the printer profiled remotely by colourphil online, The custom profiles could still not come close to the images produced with Epson ink. if I was still selling prints professionally, there is no way I could've ever given prints made with compatible inks to my customers from my xp630.that's not to say that the compatible cartridges did not work. Although they were a little fiddly to get the printer to accept them, they worked well enough, and the prints produced from them, although not good enough for my requirements, would more than likely be acceptable for happy snaps and casual use. but for me for now I shall be sticking to genuine inks.

I recently replaced my old Epson printer, but the one I chose was not in stock, so I bought the XP-630 which uses Orange ink. I had to edit and present a large number of coloured photographs and it was important that the quality was good. The Oranges Premium ink produces 'photos of much better quality than the original printer and ink that I would not now want to use anything else at any price. I can definitely recommend Epson Oranges Photo Ink, and buying it from Argos helps make it affordable.

Epson ink is not cheap but you get a bargain because although sometimes my printer is not in use for weeks, I have never had to clean the heads, a perfect print at every switch on. The photo quality is beyond words. My last 2 printers were a nightmare, if left more than a couple of days I had to change the print heads and soak the clogged ones before any printing could be done. Before printer cartridges were chipped I had a great Epson printer and now for me it`s Epson forever.

This is the best price I've managed to find for this product. I find the genuine printer inks far more reliable than the compatibles, including the quality. The common shop prices for these genuine inks are very expensive so can fully understand why people use the non-genuine cartridges, the bridge between their usual prices are huge. I would always recommend buying the genuine ink cartridges when you can for the common printers. Especially when the price allows.

For many years have bought my Epson Cartridges via ebay and have not yet been disappointed or let down. I always buy the genuine article which is reliable, lasts a long time and so easy to replace into the printer, although dearer than the compatible cartridges on the market well worth paying for especially through ebay.Would not have anything but the genuine product to keep my printer running well and efficiently.I am a very satisfied user.

Wonderful genuine Epson ink which is now so expensive that I must seek cheaper alternatives. When a complete set of original inks approach the price of the original printer it starts to become really silly and costly. How can equivalent inks which are close to the genuine article in terms of quality cost less than 20% of the genuine article. It’s unjustifiable and a complete rip off.

This product is pricey but so is clogging up your printer by using so called compatible inks. I would rather pay the price and have my printer runing as it should and turning out beautiful photos and prints. I make a lot of cards and the colour is always true. The genuine article for us every time. These inks do last a long time.

Don't bother with the cheaper inks - they never seen to work consistently and I always seem to have printer failure when I need it most. This is the higher capacity cartridges and better value than the ones with the fox on the front. Since finally giving up on cheap ink I now have a printer that always works...

Very expensive, but Argos was the lowest price that I found locally and online.I often wonder who allows compatible cartridges to be made and sold. They are a fraction of the price of branded products. After buying sets of ink cartridges, you could have bought anew printer!!!!

I bought these inks at the same time as the printer but the printer came with inks that were more than testers so I haven't used them yet but if (as they say on the box) their the same as the ones that came with the printer I'll be well impressed.

very good and so much cheaper than the one's in the shops, the quality is good the size is the same cannot see any difference between these on-line and the one's in the stores thought the ink quality might have been lower but does not seem to be.

My old but trusty HP 2210 printer which hasn't been in use for years takes only two cartridges, one black and other colour. These cartridges are excellent and give perfect copies whether printing or copying, I hope they are never discontinued.

I always buy original Epson ink cartridges as the non original do not work in my Epson printer. No print or smudgy print.Original Epson cartridges always give excellent print quality and I get a good price buying on e.bay

We all know that printer inks are expensive, but necessary, I always stick with branded inks to avoid problems with printing.I would recommend these inks, but if only they were more affordable I would be a lot happier.

Original cartridges so expensive but at least you have the peace of mind that your printer won't recognise them and not work. No original replacement ink cartridges are value for money so I'm not just picking on Epson.
