In late December 2009 I purchased a PX710W. Initially I did a lot of photo printing. 15 x 10 cm prints, lots of them. In early February 2010 I noticed that the Light Cyan and Light Magenta inks were being used fairly fast and bought replacements from a marketplace seller. These came in the proper packaging. A week or two later I bought a full set (TO807) direct from Amazon. Again, these came in the proper packaging. Since then, the printer has been used mostly for document printing and copying rather than photos, but recently I have been printing more of them, some being of larger sizes.I kept no record of dates, but all the cartridges have since been installed. The last two were about a month ago and were the Light Cyan and Light Magenta from the 6-pack. Black is now very low and I have just ordered a replacement from Amazon's Preferred Merchant.I have read a lot of complaints regarding packaging of Epson ink cartridges from marketplace sellers. They should always be in the vacuum packaging. They are not packed this way for fun. If they don't have vacuum packaging, send them back. Likewise, the TO807 set should come in a box with the individual cartridges vacuum packed. Otherwise they are not 'Genuine Epson TO807 Multipack'. Read what the merchant says before buying, and take care.My experience has been extremely good. Unusually so, perhaps. I have never yet had to clean the heads, and this is despite the automatic head cleaning being turned off. I prefer to have things under my own control. I have seen a recommendation always to leave printers turned off when not in use. When turned off, it should park the head and cap it so as to prevent the ink from drying out. Judging by the whirring and clanking that takes place after a few minutes of being left idle, I suspect that the printer parks and caps the head automatically. Epson don't say, of course. What is the life of the inks? I don't know. Those currently in my printer all came from the 6-pack and have manufacturing dates of September or October 2009 (The Status Monitor gives the information).Don't use 'Compatible' inks! I found this out the hard way. I bought my first inkjet printer some time in the late 1990s or early 2000s, and saved cost by using 'Compatible' cartridges and also a cartridge refill kit. The end result was that the head became so badly blocked that I could no longer clean it. The cost of a replacement head was as much as the cost of a new printer, so I threw it out and bought a new (and better) printer. From then on I have only used Epson inks, despite the cost. Epson's prices are outrageous for sure, but in the long run the cost of buying non-Epson cartridges can be greater. There can also be questions as to whether the inks in non-Epson cartridges are really equivalent. There are matters of colour and light-fastness, for example.I hope that this is useful to some people.

I stocked up on these at this price as it's one of the best deals out there. Yes they are GENUINE epson cartridges. Yes they don't come in the original retail packet BUT they are sealed and that is what matters. As long as they are sealed they will be under the regular warranty set out by epson and indeed most other ink cartridge manufacturers. What this means is that the cartridge will be useable for 24 month AFTER the use by date stamped on the sealed packet. If it doesn't have a date on it well I guess you're buying them because you need them so open them up and start using them. If you have a problem send them back. I personally have never had any problems.I'm not fussed about not having retail packaging after all it'll be going in the bin.I am fussed about getting sealed cartridges at a good price. This purchase ticks both boxes for me.So if you want a good deal, buy them !Think of it this way: There was NO use by date on these for years previously. It was ONLY when they were classed as a 'consumable' item that they had to put a use by date on them the same as all 'consumable' products. Now if they didn't have a use by date on them before and there was never any problems using them without knowing any dates then, I don't really think use by dates are that important on ink cartridges.

I've been a user before of cheap third party inks and as much as I laughed hard thinking of all the people who buy full price inks (what idiots eh?) I also experienced my fair share of the printer playing up and also the prints that I thought were great quickly degrade over time to look terrible. After the last printer, EPSON R-something refused to work properly, it would attempt printing but some colours wouldn't appear and even then there was terrible consistency and a lot of banding, I bought a new Epson PX720D.The inks ran out quite fast on the new printer but I decided to stop laughing at people who buy full price inks and join them. Prints now are stunning and they do not degrade over time as fast as third party inks do.I also can relax without worrying about cartridges causing errors and having to perform monthly cleaning to get rid of poor printing issues. So bear this in mind, third party inks are cheap for a reason, I do agree that genuine inks are very expensive but if you value your prints for photography or value not buying new printers all the time maybe it's time you chose these. Amazon were also the best value at the time compared to supermarkets, computer shops etc.

Having tried various compatibles (including some fairly expensive ones) in my Epson P50, and with previous printers, my advice would be 'don't bother'.Regardless of all the claims about how good they are and being a cheap version of the manufacturer's original.....rubbish.As with most things, there is a reason why they are cheap. The ink used in most compatibles invariably clogs the heads up, especially if you don't use the printer for 2 or 3 days. Then you finish up running cleaning cycles which waste a lot of ink and, before you know it, the cartridges are empty and need replacing one by one. A right royal pain. It's a false economy. You can get a lot more cartridges for your money with compatibles but you need a lot more.As anyone with a printer will know, manufacturer's originals are disgustingly expensive but, when you consider the waste with compatibles, there really isn't that much difference in price. On the other hand, if you enjoy running endless cleaning cycles and continually changing cartridges, fine. Use compatibles. Personally, I would rather get on with some printing.

The service provided by the Amazon Trader, 7dayshop, was excellent. 7dayshop shipped my order the next day after I had placed the order. It arrived two days later by the free standard delivery service. 7dayshop divided the six ink cartridges into two slim packages which were easily delivered through my letter box. Normally with other traders within Amazon these ink catridges arrive in a bulky Epson package and when it is delivered somebody has to be at home in order to receive it. If nobody happens to be at home to receive it the customer has to go to collect it at the Royal Mail delivery office. So, well done 7dayshop.The price of the ink catridges was £36.60, which includes postage, and is a big saving on the Epson retail price. This leans towards encouraging customers to buy the Epson original ink cartridges rather than inferior compatible cartridges. However, the price is still steep though, and really ought to be reduced further if possible, bearing in mind that the price of these Epson ink cartridges is still about a third of the on-line price of a new Epson stylus photo printer.

This product is top quality.I create my own photos/Images, and therefore require top quality results. The Epson Claria Ink multipack provides this without question. The anti-clogging properties allow the ink cartridges to sit in the printer without use, for up to a week or more with out clogging. I have tried this on several occasions with the same set of inks; the inks flow as if they had just been installed. Colours are produced vividly and can be adjusted depending on your printer, I am using the R360 at present. The inks are archival up to 200 years if kept in an album, or 100 years if kept on display. The only negative I have regarding the inks, is the price. Although the actual printers are relatively in-expensive,the inks are expensive, and have risen in price since introduction a few years ago.I have found Amazon to be most competitive on price. To sum up.If you want excellent top quality, long lasting and vivid colour prints, then the Claria system is perfect.Price on the high side, but you would expect to pay a little extra for quality.

Genuine Epson ink in original packaging with hologram. I always buy this ink from Amazon direct rather than a marketplace seller, purely because others seem to have had mixed experiences, and being unsure that what they have purchased is genuine. I feel That it is unlikely that Amazon themselves would sell fake goods, but in the case of a mistake or misunderstanding, I would have more redress. Worth the extra couple of quid for peace of mind with things like this.Genuine Epson inks I cannot fault. I mainly print photos, and the combination of this ink, the PX730 printer, good quality gloss or matte photo paper and my D7100 give superb results. The colours are bright and vibrant, and, unlike the cheaper refills, do not fade badly over a relatively short period of time.Although in the scheme of things, the ink is relatively expensive, as with all things, you get what you pay for. Slightly better value for money would have earned the fifth star.

Bought this printer to replace my previous canon printer because canon cartridges were too costly. The multipack inks work out cheaper, but are still expensive, Epson charge £45 for the full pack!needless to say i buy mine from other sources!I have tried compatible cartridges but whilst i've had no problems with previous printers, the Epson doesn't seem to like them. I've had nothing but trouble with compatibles - the ink clogged the nozzles and everything printed out in shades of pink and blue (great if you like those colours)! At first, the printer recognised the cartridges and displayed ink levels correctly, but lately it's refusing to recognise the cartridges and won't print at all!Ah well- i suppose i've got to admit defeat and start buying genuine ink again, other than these problems though, its a great all round printer.

I do a lot of printing, and also print on CD's and DVD's. I have an Epson Stylus R285 printer that takes Claria inks and have been using original Epson inks since I purchased the printer. I have encountered problems with compatible inks before, so despite the higher price I always use these. I usually purchase an extra black cartidge, because it gets used up quicker.Nozzle cleaning dumps your expensive ink into a piece of plastc foam in a small reservoir somewhere in the bowels of the printer, (obviously good for business). My last printer failed on CD printing when the reservoir overflowed, where I think the excess ink contaminated some optical sensors for CD tray alignment. Since I got this printer,I leave it switched on all the time, so that it never carries out the wasteful "switch-on" ink-dumping cycle.

This is not an original TO807. The cartridges are original Epson, but this is not the TO807 pack. The TO807 pack comes with 6 individually shrink wrapped cartridges. This comes as six cartridges wrapped in 2 sets of three. Use one cartridge and the other two are now unwrapped. This is how cartridges are delivered with a new printer when you want to install them all at the same time. I am not sure yet whether this will mean those two cartridges will start to dry out, but the general advice with new cartridges is to only unwrap them when they are about to be installed. I believe this should not be a problem, but I feel it should have been clearly explained rather than claiming it to be a genuine TO708 as shown in the photo.Having said all of that, the price is excellent. Just know what you are buying.

If you buy direct from amazon then you will received the genuine product, sealed in its retail packaging. That ink is perfect, best quality and colour so far out of all epson inks I've used. If used with epson paper you can get some stunning results. But if you opt to buy the cheaper inks sold on here or ones that are sold out of the packaging then please be aware that these wont be genuine inks and won't be up to the same standard. Plus some inks that are sold out of packets don't tend to be filled properly. I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for, unfortunately with inks that means the quality is greatly reduced even though the cheaper price might be more tempting. So rating for the genuine epson inks 5/5, and rating for the cheaper versions 1/5. Hope this helps.

Supplier when I bought was Amazon S.a.r.l with no other details so I wasnt sure exactly who was sending them. But these are the genuine Epson cartridges supplied in the Hummingbird packaging and individually shrink wrapped. I was quite worried after reading the other reviews. I did not want to receive the ones packed in threes that might not be completely full, so was very wary as the price was very good even compared to WHSmith with a 20% discount on cartridges. I have always found amazon to be excellent so I took the risk and ordered these cartridges priced at about £43 when I bought. I would like to confirm that yes they are genuine Epson, yes they are individually sealed within the box and yes they are the same that you would buy from high street retailers.

I am forced to buy these expensive cartridges as my Epson R360 printer refuses to work with cheaper compatible cartridges. Moreover, the price of these Epson cartridges has risen significantly in the last year, which is very annoying as the cost prevents me from doing all the printing I would like to do. It is frustrating that once one has purchased a printer, the cost of the official cartridges proceeds to rise as time goes on.However, the cartridges are good and give excellent results, which is essential for the photographs I print, so I am sticking with the Epson printer for the time being. I have deducted one star because of the astronomical price.(I was glad to get a very competitive price via Amazon this time).

this item came as an Epson to807 multipack, with cartridges individually wrapped. Exactly as advertised. (same as my order last year). i have read a few negative reviews, on the forums about Amazon Eu S.a.r.l. and MRW this item was due to be delivered to me in Spain on Mon 5th Dec. it was sort of delivered on Fri 2nd Dec, 3 days early. my bell, was'nt working at that time. the entrance to my house is some 15 mtrs from the gate, so unless someone makes a hell of a racket, we don't hear someone banging on the gate. + i was'nt expecting the delivery anyway. i picked it up from the office on the 5th Dec, but i could have had it 3 days earlier. Not their fault. i hav'nt had any late deliveries.

When seen advertised, you assume these are original cartridges, especially with the picture of the humming bird on the box. When you receive them, they don't arrive as a boxed set (as you would expect from the advert), but the 6 cartridges are vacuum packed in sets of 3 to a bag. However, the print quality is what you'd expect, but I am aware that these cartridges do not last as long as those I have used from a boxed set (and about £20 more expensive). So I am left wondering whether these are original cartridges that have been refilled. Even so, it still works out cheaper from this supplier and they are noticebly better than other clone cartridges on the market.
