I was partially delighted that the cartridge does what it says on the plastic container, ie prints in black when it says ‘black’. Black is black as they say, you can’t go far wrong and I’m chuffed that when, say my magenta, squirts its last, the replacement sent by those wonderful philanthropists at Amazon will indeed resemble magenta in a reddish type of style. Imagine my joy when the words I’d previously typed slid from my Epsom in perfect Times New Roman black, restores to its deepest hue! Oh the friends I rang to express my joy.

When Epson sell you a printer they only give you starter cartridges with it which hold a very small amount of ink in them T2981 black and the T2982/3/4 colour cartridges, Multi-pack T2986 (29). I later found out that Epson do a higher yield version 29XL's. I can go one better, I now use advantage online who stock a British premium compatible T2991 and T2992/3/4 cartridges which hold 17mls black and 13mls per colour cartridge but cost less than half the price of price of the Epson originals.

During this Lockdown period - I ordered this online Saturday - it was delivered at the timethat suited me on Sunday between 7 p.m and 11 p.m - as I am still working (essential worker). As always from Argos - first class service - the product is great - easy to fit - although it is the black ink that can run out first for me - so I just buy a single black cartridge from Argos.

Very easy collection from Argos - simply reserved online and collected 5 mins later!Argos price was better than Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.The printer I have that takes these cartridges is so simple and easy to use, I have an app on my phone that alerts me to low cartridges. Reserved online, collected instore ... simple easy service. All ink is over priced (compared to the cost of an actual printer) but similar cost to other retailers and I knew by reserving it would be in store when I made the trip.

I'm so pleased they stocked it as I had just ran out of ink right in the middle of something important so not time to order it as I needed it first thing in the morning (it was 10pm!). Lots cheaper than other local shops too.

I took advantage of purchasing a replacement Black Ink cartridge with a CD drive I purchased at the same time to get free P & P without joining prime. The replacement met my needs & delivered within 2 days.

Original product bought as tried compatible but had loads of problems. A bit on the expensive side but I suppose you pay for quality. Picked up after ordering within the hour so another added bonus

PERFECT!! The 29XL obviously holds more ink,but for the amount extra you get,it certainly makes it worthwhile paying the few pounds extra,if using your printer on a regular basis.

Brought this has my black had run out I think they a bit dear for what they lucky Argos had them cheaper other wise I would not much more for them. Well done Argos.

Same product as some other online shopping websites, but cheaper and don't need to wait for delivery when you can ordered online and pick up in store straight away.

I always buy these ink cartridges from Amazon - like the fact that they are genuine Epson ones - tried compatibles in previous printers and they always go wrong.

After some deliberation about which might be the correct cartridge from the array available. seemed to get the right one and printer is now back in action!
