This was one of the first games I bought for the GameCube and I am very impressed with it.Basically it's a sort of backwards Tetris.The idea of the game is to create rows of blocks so that you can escape the 'pit' that you get dropped into.In the main game you have to battle against an opponent to see who reaches the top first. You also have to get out of the pit before the water in the bottom rises too high.The best game mode I've played so far would have to be the 'Bomb Mode'. In this you and your opponent start with a tall tower and you must be the first to use bombs to blow up your opponents tower.There are loads of different modes to choose from and also quite a few hidden characters to find.It's a great game for all ages.
