I bought this Dicota multi PRO lap top bag 14-17.3" Laptop bag in black to carry my MacBook Pro 15" . It is an excellent product. Well made, sturdy fabric, strong zips and with excellent thick padding, particularly in the vital area of the edges, or "circumferential" dimensions; which means the edges of the MacBook are well protected against knocks.The main compartment features a substantial strapping device that use a Velcro fastening, to allow secure storage of the MacBook, and along with it there is a Velcro fastening and adjustable bracing device that allows the MacBook or indeed any laptop to be firmly positioned against the thick padding on all edges of the case.There is a rear compartmentwith a pocket that will take my IPad comfortably even it's own protective stand up case.There is a further rear compartment, this time with a Velcro fastener, which easily stores documents, I have a book in there at the moment.To the front of the main compartment is a further zipped compartment which opens up flat to reveal pockets for a phone, pens, and other items such as a calculator.To the bottom of that is another zipped compartment which comfortably houses my MacBook charger and cable, my IPad charger and cable, and my phone charger and cable.The bottom of the case features two ridge rubber pads that prevent the fabric of the case scraping the ground, a nice touch.There is a well cushioned handle, that is a mixture of fabric and what might or might not be leather ( check Dicota's own product description if that matters to you) and there is also an adjustable shoulder strap, with sturdyspring clips. The strap is ample in length for my 6' 2" frame. The bag has been well designed and is produced in quality materials. It is sturdy, looks very good and I am very pleased with it. I consider the price well worth the outlay, particularly as the MacBook I have already represents a considerable outlay in itself, and this Dicota bag provides substantial protection and is also very practical in its design and capacity. I love the fact I can get all my laptop gear, USB four port gang, mouse, and other stuff like three external hard drives, chargers etc, all in one case. The main compartment has a lockable zip, insofar as the zip handles have lugs which would allow a small padlock to be used.OK now to the title of this review. I would advise anyone buying one these bags to be aware that the reviews already posted actually appear against several Dicota products. This is clearly an error on the part of Amazon. ( Hoping you will rectify this Amazon) and therefore can be very misleading when choosing the right bag for your needs. I advise that a visit to Dicota's website is essential in getting the right information about their products before buying from Amazon, who are one of only two outlets in the U.K . By checking the product information on Dicota's website you can be sure of the products design, and also, very essentially, the correct size of bag given your laptop's measurements.Apart from that relatively minor consideration I would not hesitate to recommend this product, nor would I deter anyone from buying it from Amazon, because in every other respect buying it was not an issue.

I had the previous version of this bag (I bought it in 2012, same pocket locations, same general design, carries the same size laptop) and I found the previous one to be better. This bag, does not fit my 17.3" MSI GE70, but my old one fits it like a glove. This bag did fit a thinner HP 17.3". The reason for this is that in this "new" design, Dicota made the area where in the laptop should be stored thinner. In other words, the height and width of the back pocket is the same, but it has less depth. Other than that it is a great bag, very comfortable, spacious (I can place my MSI in the middle pocket and the HP in the bag pocket, doesn't feel over loaded) and good build quality.The only other problem I had is that I stay in South Africa, 2 weeks after the bag arrived from the UK...it was stolen.

Only had the bag a few days and it has already become indispensable. Good design. My large laptop is well cushioned. My tablet and phone fit into their respective pockets perfectly. Power cables have their own compartments so that they are out of the way and there is plenty of room left over for my pens, pads, books, wallet, keys, glasses etc.Handle on the top is great. Solid and reliable yet soft to the touch. Shoulder straps allow me to walk to and from the train station in comfort. Very professional look.this will get a lot of wear.

Perfect for my Dell M6700. It fits neatly. Very good quality and plenty of space. I would definitely recommend it.
