Bought the Dicota after having returned an MS 6PL-00002 Sculpt Touch Mouse because it jumped and was very jerky (even after acclimatising/adjusting it over 2 weeks). I had read all the reviews for the Dicota, and at half the price of the MS mouse- when postage is added-, I was not sure how it would work. Well it has exceeded my expectations. It fits my hand fine (it is a "travel"/ laptop size, has not caused any strain in use (the MS mouse did), and works faultlessly on screen.The top cover slips off neatly to install the 2 AAA batteries. They are a little fiddly to get in from the top, but if you turn the mouse upside down they slip in easily. It connected straight away on my W8.1 tablet pc.

I like small simple but reliable mice for my laptop. I've had far more expensive Microsoft mice that were good but eventually wore out and it has become surprisingly hard to find simple traditional compact mice. This fits the bill and is by far the cheapest I have bought for years. As this style seems to become discontinued very fast by MS, Logitech etc., I have purchased another one of these as a spare. It is precise, does not drop the connection to my Win 8.1 laptop (unlike my expensive MS Sculpt mouse), and feels good after hours of continuous use. Fast well-packed delivery as well.

Didn't want to spend too much on a bluetooth mouse as some are silly money. This one paired almost instantly with both my Dell Venue Pro 8 and my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Very smooth and does the job. No more, no less. Good price and rapid delivery. The other thing that worried me was the size in case it was too small for my hands. It is small but is still comfortable for my man sized hands. I recommend this for tablets.

I bought one in January and it's been flawless on a toshiba tablet, my sony z2 phone and my asus tablet (both win 8 and 8.1). Just about to buy another one as I want one each for the tablets.Much impressed and that's rare, I usually find technology disappointing.*edit* sadly I've now joined the camp where it doesn't work with windows 8.1 :( If you're running 8.1 I'd suggest you seriously consider something wifi.

Cheap, light but not too light. responsive. Connects quickly after shut down or sleep. A joy to use. Great for ProEngineer on a laptop (this needs a good mouse) and all sorts of general stuff. Works with Windows and Mac. Fits my small hands like a glove (except that my hand is on the outside).Been going a week on a pair of AA cells (supplied with it). No sign that they are flagging.
