Very reasonably priced and quite well made. Nearly all plastic (of course) but looks and feels OK.Beware though - the advert refers to several variations of this turntable, meaning the cheapest one (mine) doesn't have a USB port and won't play MP3 files - or 78s for that matter!Not a problem for me but something to watch out for!Minimal assembly required: just attach the rubber band as instructed and away you go!Comes complete with built in phono equaliser but I've switched it off as I'm playing records via my amp.A MM cartridge is supplied already installed. It does appear possible you could upgrade this but I've not tried.The sound is very good,

Very good value, my son uses it to play classical music via a Bose sound link mini and the sound whilst not hi-fi is very pleasing and easy to listen to. My only niggle is that there's no clip to secure the tone arm on its rest, so it needs to be tied on to move for cleaning underneath etc. The deck does seem a bit light, but it's had no special care and it's working fine.

I work in a Record store, my boss gave me a basic GPO turntable which seemed okay at first, It lacked the warmth and bass of the sound that I got from loud and clear system we had in the store. I finally bought this Denon player and wow! What a difference. Great player, preamp really makes a difference. Paired with my Cambridge Audio Amp and Tannoy speakers I'm very happy.

Looks great next to my Denon Amp, however, don't make the mistake of plugging this into the phono port of your amplifier, as *some* people are advising here.They are WRONG.This will just result in an awful screeching sound.It's right there in the description that this has a BUILT-IN PRE-AMP.Plug it into any OTHER port.

purchased this turntable to replace an old one.has given my vinyl collection a new lease of life. simple and straightforward to operate exceptionally good value especially for a pensioner. highly recomended.

I got this to replace my other turntable as it did not have a preamp.it is a great unit for the price, and easy to work, I use it with my Bose system,

Easy setup.Well made.The cover is a nice change.Choose your replacement cartridge.Semi automatic is the ideal balance and easy to use.

Excellent buy. All my vinyl is out of the attic and being played again. Cabled male phono plug outputs can be plugged into anything.

Very happy with it. Have been thinking about buying a turntable for a while now. I love vynyl and I'm really pleased .

It's for a present, so I haven't used it yet, but it looks as if my son will be really happy with it.

Great piece of kit, plays records as they should be played.Make sure you have a good amp though.
