Bought for my Dad hence the late reply/review. Hes 62 and not computer literate, or technology literate to be honest.Have just phoned him and he said its amazing! So easy to work, great value and blooming lovely!I did read a review to him moaning about the sound quality. In his words the sound is perfect, but he said he had to test it's limits and when turned as loud as it can go he said it is very distorted but also said he'll never use it THAT loud therefore is better than perfect for what he was wanting...Also, hes also wondering if and where you can buy extra plug in speakers for it? Can you help?

This item was better than expected. One fault exists which is that it switches off the tuner after an hours playing. I am told this is an energy device kicking in. It has not caused me any problems personally and the firm did ofter to have the unit back to work on it, which I did not want to do, but I am very happy with it other wise

I bought this to replace an enormous old hifi system, it looks good I'd compact and easy to use, the built in speakers are good and at half volume will fill a large sized room with sound, if your planning on listening to this on full volume the speakers will crackel there is an option to attend external speakers though.

Turntable excellent value and easy to use. Software also easy to use with following exceptions:1. Sometimes have to try several times to correctly identify all tracks on an LP2. Records as .wav not .mp33. Asks for artist & album name but doesn't tag this information to the files

Works perfectly, amazing value. Exceeded my expectations by a long way, and the quality is good. Heavy acrylic lid, real wood veneer, speakers not at all bad. I used Audacity free software to record and clean 78s from the 1940s. Used the jack lead to record tapes too.

good little unit with connectivity for additional speakers to be used with it, which do improve the sound onto another level, the inbuilt speakers are ok but additional speakers help the unt no end, especially like the transfer option to pc of my albums.

Simple setup, good value, but don't obviously expect a great sound - the usual treble-heavy, tinny sound, as these are only small incorporated speakers - but they do the trick for casual, calm use.The sound is better when listening through headphones.

Really pleased with the turntable - sits nicely on top of my shelves and the sound quality is great for what it is. (You're not going to get BOSE quality on this type of product). very easy to use and great value for money. Very happy

So pleased with my ION Max turntable, it is exactly what I was looking for. It looks very stylish, it plays my old records perfectly and arrived very quickly. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend.

this product was as easy to set up, literally plug in a away you go! the sound quality was good but I enhanced the sound by adding speaker I would recommend this product to anyone

It is ideal for what I won't it for so simple to use even my 8 year old Grandaughter can use it good with own speakers but even better wen plugged into a amp plus nice looking

Bought as a present, we thought the quality would never be as good as very expensive model. We were however pleasantly surprised and the USB conversion to MP3 is a breeze.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday present. He loved it and is now collecting lp'sNot plugged into our Mac yet but sounds great through the bose system

Had so many lp's up in the loft. This is superb for doing what most of us want.good sound,loud enough and decent piece of furniture.
