I brought this item for my 15 year old daughter based on previous reviews from Amazon buyers. We are both thrilled with this product. It plays my old 80's LP's and 45's brilliant but she has also brought her own new chart records and she loves it. Ok so the sound quality isn't like her Sonos but then I didn't expect it to be, but it has a tone control on it and it isn't tinny or screechy and sounds much better than I assumed it would. The carry case is great as she packs it all up, takes it to her grandparents and then listens to their old stuff (Buddy Holly, Frankie Valli etc..........) The lid is the speaker unit so no need to carry speakers around with you!! We have brought a replacement stylus just in case,

I'm completely new to vinyl and had no idea on record players. I spent hours researching, reading guides, watching YouTube videos and so on. I also didn't want to spend more than £50 as I'm only dipping my toe into the vinyl water.The product was spot on according to the description and whilst the speakers aren't the best quality, they are listenable. That said when I hooked it up to my sound bar and amp - blown away and you still get the vintage vinyl sound.It was dead easy to setup, instructions are very clear and due to the size very easy to store. Whilst I don't have anything to compare this to, I'm delighted with the purchase and would highly recommend.

I like this record player it looks very good and the sound quality is pretty good for the size the only down size is to me that the record does not stop at the end of play and it is very difficult to lift the arm up without scratching the record because there is no room for manouvre I find I am having to switch the unit off before I can change the record and also all the connecting up like having to connect the mains cable and connecting the speakers which are in the lid all takes time when the player has been put away

My wife gave me this for the Christmas, fulfilling my secret wish to retrospectively get into the LP generation. It works well, particularly for vocals, jazz, and musicals. Given the limitations of the speaker, one would not expect to play Holst's Planets on this with hifi results. If you want a better stereo, investigate other Steepletone machines with greater output. This little player is neat looking and well-built, and makes a nice conversation piece and great standby music box for kids.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas so tried it out with my record collection from the 80's. Easy to use although you have to be careful raising or lowering the arm. Sound through the speakers perfectly adequate, reminds me of my old record player years ago. Chris de burgh's 'lady in red' 45 was great, husband's Rush lp not so good! Player looks good too, daughter will love the retro feel.

Really pleased with it, sound quality is better than I expected, tone and volume dials feel smooth with volume giving a nice click on and off, the handle is reassuringly stiff and sturdy, as are the clasps. The leather covering where the corners meet looks a bit amateurishly glued and in time I think this will peel off but overall I bought it to listen to records and I'm not disappointed.

Took delivery of this today - for the money it's a great looking product and sounds pretty decent.OK quality is a little rough here and there finish wise and the sound is not like a high end hi fi.But for £60 it's well worth the money and plays all my singles and albums without fault.Would I recommend it - definetly!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, and I was concerned that something so compact could maybe not sound so good, perhaps it would be a bit 'tinny'? My fears were unfounded, as it sounds great, and she is delighted with it. Very portable, and a good way for someone in her twenties to discover the joys of vinyl!

Yes it isn't this and it isn't that ... but for £24.95 you really can't go wrong with this excellent portable systemThe sound is decent it is easy to transport and is simple to useIf it lasts just a year or two then so be it, I'd buy another one ... it perfectly supplements my main system and does all you could ask

Good price and suits my needs as I wanted something convenient and easy to use. No problems found playing 10" or 12" LPs and I have also played a few 45s. I'm not overly picky about sound quality but the speaker it sufficient for how I use it - in my lounge, filling the downstairs with wicked tunes.

So I was worried when I bought this because you never know what to expect.In my opinion this is a lovely record player and looks very retro -sound quality is good has a good amount of volume. I bought a second one for my dad and he loves it too I highly recommend this I think it's great

Bought this for my twelve year old son who wanted to listen to his grandmas old records. The item is brilliant as he can transport to and fro and looks very retro/stylish. He has had loads of fun playing records with no problem, and the sound is brilliant. Highly recommend

The only negative thing about this record player is a personal preference no arm assist lever but its small compact easy to use sounds great and it can go louder than you might think I highly recommend this item.... I even weathered it so now it looks years old

Good. I think that the turntable slows down a bit. Normally plays ok but does sometimes drag. Very portable and quick to set up. Would recommend if you just want something to play your old vinyl on but if you want something with better sound quality spend more.

Already brought one and loved it so much got another. Brilliant for a record fan who just wants something small to play some music, and the sound is great too.Found it works a lot better too if you just stuck a 1p on top of the head to give it extra weight.
