There are cheap Cross compatible refill out there that makes one branded refill look expensive, but this Cross branded refill is worth getting.It is a like for like replacement for the spent original ballpoint and it fits the pen perfectly.The blue medium is a lovely refill and works perfectly upon first contact with paper. The blue is lovely and is a lighter shade than perhaps a navy blue. The rollerball itself gives a very fluid writing action with provides a good flow with even a light touch.The other thing about this refill is the fact that it is archival ink, which means that it is designed to resist fading over time. Wanted some black ink for my pens, works very well. Smooth to write with and doesn't bleed, leak or stop writing intermittently.
