After two disappointing walking shirts by Marmot and Mammut this one hits the spot perfectly. Perfect size for me as Columbia M always is. Great material and features. Cool (with the vents helping) and quick drying. Also used the extra flap on the collar at the back of the neck to protect from the sun on my very first hike as it was beating down from behind on the descent (Sierra Nevada/southern Spain so was powerful sun). Love the grey too - already have a Columbia bora bora hat in that same grey, so knew what to expect, but still very smart and not as hear absorbing as black. Perfect Garment

Nice shirt, Lightweight with plenty of ventilation. But-seems to be tailored differently from an earlier purchased version. Collar is not the same and doesn't lie flat as expected. More like a dress button down. The hem is longer. IMO too long for this type of shirt that will rarely if ever be tucked in. Not sure what happened to the manufacturing perhaps a different vendor that didn't quite understand the order..? Shame the fit changed. Still a good shirt if you are ok with the two areas.

This is a great shirt, with the same quality fabric like the other Columbia shirts I have in long sleeve (Tamiani II, Bahama). The only issue is that the Silver Ridge is one size too small - my Tamiani and Bahama long sleeves are XL and a little large (perfect fit for Florida), while this XXL is a true fit for me (not a little large like the others, but will definitely do). Probably the reason that the price is so good (offered at 1/2 off the shirt tag price of $50).

I have 8-9 different shirts from Columbia.But that one is real special as it keeps more cool in hot weather.Unlike many others needs to iron before wearing even I dont spin for dry.Thats slightly messy.Still I give five star that really air conditioning shirt...

This shirt arrived on time and was exactly as expected. It fits well and is comfortable to wear in hot weather. It washes well and dries really quickly. I would recommend this product.

Great lightweight shirt that dries quickly on a hot sweaty day. My husband, who works in construction, wears these to work all summer to keep cool and protect him from the sun.

I am using this product in the tropics and it is very useful. The sun protection is good and yet the shirt feels cool. It washes easily and drys quickly. Just what is needed!

Great shirt for the price! Can get a semi-dressed-up look when combined with khakis and decent shoes. Otherwise, it's great to wear this shirt on a hot summer day.
