In order of my priorities:1. DURABILITY. I've done a bit of labor in these, and so far, not a loose thread. Overall, these are built very well.2. Style: FIT/CUT. I recommend you get the smallest size that gives you the necessary movability and breathing room. I have a lean build (6', 160#), and the medium looks and feels best on me. I purchased one each of two sizes (M & L) to determine which was the best fit for me -- at these prices, why not?3. Style: COLOR. I bought three colors -- black, khahi and navy. All of them are rich, solid dyes, but the black is especially impressive. It is a jetter black than some dress blacks I own.4. MAINTENANCE. Using Cheer for Darks in the regular cold/cold cycle, the jet black shirt hasn't faded a bit for over a dozen washes. All of them come wrinkle-free out of the dryer.Overall: Durable enough for physical work; stylish enough for upscale customer service (at least in black). Highly recommended.

I got these to replace some older Dickies shirts that I had to replace. I usually get 5 or 6 every 12 to 18 months and wear one to work everyday. They usually last a long time, the material wears well and most all dirt and stains wash out. After about a year the color starts to fade at the edges of the collars, that's not a big deal to me. I find I replace them becasue after 12 to 18 months wearing the shirt once a week the B.O. does not wash out anymore, if it did I imagine I could probably get at least 24 to 36 months from a Dickies shirt. These shirts are a ligher weight material than the Dickies shirts they are replacing, which is OK for me since I live in a warm climate.I tried Carhart shirts but like these better, for me the fit is better and you can't beat the large chest pockets and the pen slot built into the top of the left pocket so you have access to your pen when the pocket flap is closed..

They are big for the US size listed, yes, so might take a bit of trial and error to find your UK size. As a big chap, that suits me just fine.A tad pricey for a shirt, but worth every penny - they don't need ironing, they're warm in winter and cool in summer - or at least hide sweat well. Colour doesn't fade in the wash and they're made of tough stuff. Material's a little scratchy maybe if you have sensitive skin, but nothing a drop of fabric softener can't make easily tolerable.I've been wearing these specific shirts to work in for years - from up onstage to behind the bar to warehouse and even front of house sales. Wife just threw out my 7-year old one as I refused to, despite the missing buttons, etc. Just bought a batch of five for a week's workwear and expect I'll buy plenty more in the years to come - if they keep producing them! Tough to obtain in the UK...

I ordered an XL to be worn at work. Its HUGE.......this shirt made me stop buying clothing online from new vendors that i've never used before. I'd say that these shirts run larger than your standard button up shirts.UPDATE 2016-08-01I did not want to shelf this shirt so I stuck it on a hanger in the garage. This is my yard work shirt that I have not washed in over a year. Despite this being a large shirt it makes a good overshirt if you wanna throw it over an undershirt or tank top. Its heavy duty for sure....I treat it like crap and it still looks good. I'm going to give it 4 stars.....I float between a large and xl for shirts....this is definitely American sized so if you want something form fitting go a size smaller. If I was ordering this today for myself....I'd have gotten a Large.

So, I said it fit as expected...what I mean is that it fits as I've come to expect with Dickie's shirts, which run a bit large. I usually wear a size large in most brands, although lately I'm becoming a medium but not so comfortable wearing mediums yet. This shirt in a medium however fits me great. It's not like a size large but more like a size "medium and a half" so to speak. Can't go wrong with Dickies for work, whether it's in a restaurant cooking and doing dishes, in a warehouse, dog walking, delivery driving, you name it. It's water resistant (it really is), stays looking sharp for a long time, difficult to stain the things although this white one got something on it my first day wearing it,I feel it will come out in the wash. Will order again for sure.

This shirt is perfect for work or even to wear out! I bought this shirt because I'm going through all of my nice polo's at work like nobodies business. Plus I'd like to save those for going out. Anyhow, this shirt fits the bill perfectly. I bought the black and it's a nice super dark black. I washed it right when I got it and it's still stiff (everyone knows that with Dickies you have to wash them a few times for them to soften up) I will definitely be getting a few more of these for work! The fit is a little generous. It's definitely the biggest medium shirt I've worn to date but I like the extra room especially at work. What else could I say but, it's Dickies. The quality is in the name.I mean how could you go wrong except maybe on the sizing!

First off, ordered these shirts on the weekend and got them on Thursday which is great considering that i live in Hawaii. I am 5'3" and 192lbs, broad shoulders and larger than normal arms. I tried on the X-Large which is what I usually wear and found that it was way too big and baggy around the mid section and a little long especially because i am short. I went with the large instead which fit perfectly across the shoulders and mid section. The length was perfect as well, but the arms are just a tad snug. Nice looking work shirt that can also be used for casual outings. If you still are on the fence on the sizing,i suggest you go to a walmart or kmart as they also carry these shirts and you can try them on like I did

First the shirts: I am 5'6", 130Lbs (short, skinny) and ordered 3 smalls, in black, khaki, and dark navy for work at a tool shop. The shirts fit well and are very well made. Definitely will hold up better than a T.Secondly, I have never had a package shipped through Prestige, however I ordered these shirts Friday at 2am (very late Thursday night) and they were on my doorstep today, Monday at noon. That's 2 day shipping (Kentucky to Pennsylvania) and I didn't pay a cent (free super saver option selected). Absolutely hands down the best shipping service I've ever dealt with, I'm totally blown away and cannot offer enough praise. Good work Amazon, good work Prestige, good work Dickies.100% satisfied.

We own three of these work shirts, which have held up to thrice-weekly washing with only some pilling (not bad enough to be inappropriate for a service job, but definitely noticeable to my anal eye).Biggest consideration in purchasing is Sizing. These shirts run one size larger than normal; actual measurements provided below. My boyfriend is typically a Large, but the Dickies shirts were purchased in Medium. All three of our "Medium" Dickies shirts measure 22" across the chest, which also contradicts the displayed 'sizing info'.All measurements for the Medium shirt (after repeated washings):22" across chest19" shoulder-to-shoulder28" shoulder-to-hem

I bought a khaki short-sleeved shirt to match the loose-fit work shorts in the same colour that I'd recently purchased. The colour matching is exact, although the shirt is a lighter-weight fabric. This is a classic design for a work shirt, with a generous length and square-cut bottom that allows the shirt to look great whether worn outside (as shown in the photo) or tucked in. I went for a 2XL as I like plenty of room for movement in a work shirt, although I'd usually order an XL in a more formal shirt, and this was a good decision because the shirt fits as I'd expected. I like the shirt (and matching shorts) so much that I've ordered a set in Navy Blue.

There are a lot of reviews claiming that you would need to buy one size bigger than your regular clothing size. Everyone body sharps are different, but for me, it fit perfectly. I'm 5'11" and are 265lbs, heavy but in shape. I ordered one black in XL and white in XXL just because the black runs big and tall and the white run regular. I received both today and both are regular XL. The black fit perfectly and the white one is too damn BIG!... The only way I would be able to wear the white one without looking stupid is if I don't button up. So make sure you know your body shape and don't make a stupid mistake as I did relied too much on others review.

I don't like the way the women's Dickies shirts are cut, so I thought I'd try the men's. I am happy with this shirt. Normally, I wear medium in women's so I ordered a small in this shirt. It fits perfectly. It's not too long to tuck into my tactical pants and it's roomy enough that the buttons don't pop open at the chest—I'm 32-D or 34-C. The only issue for a woman might be that the bottom of the shirt isn't designed for the curvature of a woman's hips. I have a smaller waist and curvier hips; I find that the shirt is a bit snug in the area of the lowest button. Still, it works for me. I'll be purchasing another shirt in "desert sand" very soon.

I started wearing these shirts a long time ago when I bought them from a local retailer. However, there was a very limited selection in colors. So when I found I could order these online and choose multiple different colors I was excited. The quality of these shirts are superb and are perfect for the type of work that I do. They are very comfortable and are made of a durable quality fabric that can withstand a beating. If you are the technician type and are looking for a shirt that looks good, fits good and can take some punishment on the job, then this shirt is for you. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone.

These are easily my favorite shirts. They fit particularly well on big guys like myself, which can be a very hit or miss proposition with some other products' sizing. Not so with these. When they first arrive, you will notice the fabric is somewhat stiff and a bit scratchy against the skin, but after they've been worn and washed a few times they soften up and get comfortable. They rarely require ironing, but can be a bit of a lint magnet at times - nothing a lint roller can't fix, though. You will find the fabric and colors are nearly identical to some lines of Dickies work pants as well, which is nice if you need a uniform look.

I have 4 shirts of different colors. The fit and look great. My wife at first joked that I looked like a repair man. I work in a fairly laid back environment, they frown on blue jeans and ratty looking clothes but these shirts are perfectly fine. I like that they fit very well on my body (X-Large), have two nice sized breast pockets (cell phone and sun glasses) and they do not need ironing. They are a bit stiff but I do not notice it after about 10 minutes of wear. I imagine it will get a bit softer after a few more washings. My wife now loves them (no ironing) and is wondering if she can get buy with a few of them.
