The fabric feels great; soft touch, but strong. It's a nice tight weave. It's a little thinner/lighter than I was expecting; should be good for 3 British seasons. The shirts are light, and poly-cotton is great at handling getting wet from within and without. The manufacture quality isn't bad, but it isn't excellent.Loads of loose thread ends, and birds-nests of thread inside the pockets, and I'm concerned that the buttons may come loose in a short time. It's acceptable though; I mean it's not much worse than "usual".The overall finish is good. They "look" smart. The fit is pretty slim. I'm slim, and normally find clothes quite loose, but not these shirts. Rolling the sleeves up proved a little tricky,as they get tighter and tighter with each turn. The cuffs are buttoned at two points: at the wrist and further up the forearm; without undoing both buttons, rolling the sleeves up is hard work.I also find the arm movement a little restricted by a tightness across the back, which is pretty much entirely non gusseted. The collar fit is generous and comfortable.I'd recommend ordering larger than your size if you're of "average" or larger build. There are some nice features. The "hidden" zipped pocket inside the left breast pocket, is handy for small valuables like cash and cards. The sleeve fasteners to keep 'em up are nice too, although because the sleeves are quite tight fitting, not really necessary.Loads of loops for hanging to air/dry.Two spare buttons sewn onto the care instructions label, which is good since many look like they may fall off ;-)The "solar collar" is a smart concept that actually works. The collar folds up as any "normal" collar, but then an extra bit can also be folded up, adding a further 3/4" to the height of the collar.Overall, these are good, and pretty much as expected.A slightly roomier fit would be nice, and some give across the back too.Although the fabric is great, it could perhaps do with a little stretch, to turn this "good" shirt, into a "great" shirt.UPDATE (18th Oct 2016): No buttons have come off yet (I guess I was wrong), and all 5 shirts I purchased at the same time and wear in rotation are in great shape.

I am very pleased with this shirt. I work in the oil industry and I frequently travel abroad to jobs. O find this style of shirt is ideal to wear while travelling and in many cases I arrive in early morning and have to directly to the customer office from the airport. This style of shirt is smart enough for that also. This Craghoppers shirt is my favourite. The fabric has a slight softness to it, almost like a brushed cotton. Some shirts in this style have a thin canvas feel. Two breast pockets are useful. there is a zipped secondary pocket inside but to be honest I do not quite see the need for that.Sizing is good, I am fairly overweight, and the XL is a comfortable fit (I am about a 46" chest?).Colours,I like the dark grey, and ombre blue.I did order Pebble but it is nothing like the images here on amazon, it is like a dark khaki and not any sort of "sand",Overall, really good shirts at an acceptable price.

These are fantastic shirts, Ive glowingly reviewed the short sleeved version so why have I knocked off a star ?Simply because the sleeves are too long to be worn at full length, unless you have particularly long arms, they will reach after your knuckles and come to your fingers.Still great shirts and look good when rolled up as all the photos show, maybe the sleeve length is why photos of this product are shown like this ?Another very minor thing is the sizing, the short sleeved version is better being ordered on the next size up as they are a quite slim fit.Not so this, the long sleeved version, bizarre as it seems. These shirts, of which I have 4,should be ordered at your actual size as they are not so tight fitting.

This is a replacement shirt and seems exactly the same as my previous one. It arrived quickly. The main reason I like this shirt are, it dries very quickly and is loose fitting with long sleeves that when folded up they are held by buttons in place. They wash very easily, I talking about in a sink on a camp site, not washing machine. I opted for the lighter colour as although the miget's like me in Scotland there is apparently anecdotal evidence that they do not like light colours. There is a small inner zipped pocket in the upper breast pocket, but never bothered with that as quite small. When you sweat it does get wet and looks wet unfortunately, but also dries of quickly. I only use this walking/hiking

Was expecting the pebble shirt to be similar to khaki in colour, but it looks a lot more like Olive. which is a shame.Lots of loose threads on the shirt, but they can easily be snipped short. Only received the shirt today, so can't comment on it's longevity, but I suspect some stitching may come loose in time.Otherwise, it's a perfectly good shirt. I'm usually a 'large', because of my broad shoulders, but after reading a comment that medium's were quite generous I got a medium instead. It's a slim, but not tight, fit around the chest which I like. I could tie up the collar button, but that would be tight: but I don't mind as this is going to be a summer shirt anyway.

I have had two of these shirts for nearly ten years and really like the functionality of them, specifically the front pockets and the option of rolling up the sleeves when it is warm in summer, but wearing the sleeves down in winter. Therefore, I am disappointed that the sleeves are now very tight compared to my old shirts,so tight that I can only turn them up to the elbow; and I by no means have bulging biceps. If I had tried to turn the sleeves up before removing the label I would have returned it for a refund. Aside from that problem I do like the shirt but in future when needing a similar shirt will look at other options

Delivery accomplished speedily. The colour of this pebble shirt is considerably darker than the shade of the shirt shown on the order page - See photograph 1. A check of the photographs of the short sleeve version of this shirt shows a much closer representation of Craghoppers 'pebble shade' - See photograph 2. I am happy to keep it as a it is a very good shirt for the price paid. I will now purchase a second shirt in a lighter colour; something I intended doing in any case once I had the opportunity of checking how good the shirt is first hand

Arrived very quickly. The size is generous for a medium, with the arms being slightly long (and I have longish arms!), but that's been all to the good in the heatwave since it arrived, as it allows better ventilation. It dries very quickly, and is comfortable enough to wear when damp. The quality of manufacture is as good as I would expect from Craghoppers - ie good! No signs of the loose threads which others have talked about. I'm just about to order another...

My him indoors loves this shirt and it cycles through the laundry with regularity of changing traffic-lights. The colour is more pale ill person than my idea of kiwi but that is a personal quibble. The reason I have docked star is because it is a beast to iron, fighting me all the way. The shirt does say it doesn't need ironing but I disagree. Again a personal quibble as I like my man to look like somebody cares. Just saying is all.

Bought one of these shirts in Ceder but it arrived in Petrol colour. Will keep product as colour is nice.Large shirt is quiet baggy on me and would probably of been better with a medium.Shirt itself is really good quality, nice material, have worn it around the house a few hours and it's a comfortable fit (probably because it's a bit baggy). Feel like it will be a good addition to my kit and used as a mid layer during the summer.

This is such a great shirt, just what my hubby wanted, its light & comfortable, tho l must say it did need a little iron, but then l did leave it in the washing machine too long so it got creased , took it out another time & flacked it , put it on a hanger & it was much better, a good shirt to travel in & dreis quickly too, came really quick & was well wrapped, a good price too compared to a Tilly shirt !! Very pleased overall

I bought one of these in Oatmeal. Unfortunately the only sun protection is in the collar! I found this out when contacting the manufacturer. So, it was sent back. I bought the same shirt in Cedar. This is made completely of Solarshield fabric, giving the UPF50 protection I was looking for. Great shirt and comfortable to wear but...the UPF is not applicable to the Oatmeal or Cloud Grey product. You have been warned.

It does the job very well! I particularly liked the fact that the collar the can be pulled up to give extra protection against the mozzies/sun. Fast drying too: I washed it in a hotel sink one evening and it was dry in the morning - making it perfect for traveling. Finally, the style is good - can be worn in a bar or restaurant without people thinking you spent the rest of the day hacking through a jungle.

A good lightweight shirt, with a good length so that it stays tucked into my trouser waist band, unlike some other similarly priced shirts, I like the pockets which are big enough for my mobile phone, dark glasses, with a separate bit for my pen or pencil in the right hand pocket and a zip compartment in the left pocket for stuff like bank notes or cards I love the shirt and recommend it.

Wow, this Craghopper Mens long sleeved shirt was a big hit when I presented it to my husband before our trip to Botswana. He loved the fit, colour and quality of it and wore it most evenings and early mornings. As we were 4x4ing & camping we were washing all our clothes by hand, this shirt dried within half an hour, which was very useful. Fast service, thank you. Highly recommended.
