This is a very lightweight shirt ideal for hot or warm weather. The polyester fabric (not polycotton as stated) provides both UV protection to the skin while the Noslife provides good protection from biting insects. This has been put to the test in warm, humid weather beside a lake where the biters were out in force and arms, legs, back and face bitten within a few minutes. After popping the shirt on, there were no further body bites and I was impressed by how well it worked. It is regularly worn while working beside our woodland stream home to the Blandford fly amongst others. I keep the cuffs buttoned, wear a hat with mesh net, Nosilife trousers from the same range plus thick DIY gloves and emerged unscathed.Barrier clothing feels so much healthier than applying strong insect repellent chemicals such as DEET to the skin. The shirt feels light and cool and there's a ventilated back panel which, when worn in a breeze, acts as a very welcome cooling vent. The sleeves can be worn up or down (I've only ever worn them down), the collar folds up twice to protect the back of the neck from burning - and as white-skinned redhead with a family history of skin cancer, this is important to me.Pockets are in abundance with two popper-fastening chest pockets, a small pocket on the right sleeve and a hidden zipped pocket in the left seam. I also like some of the other features including the loop for holding sunglasses (or glasses), the lens cleaning cloth stitched to the bottom front seam and the buttons secured via ribbon rather than stitching - plus a spare of each button being included. The fabric is polyester which isn't normally my material of choice because it can feel sweaty in warm or hot weather. However, this feels light and airy and when it does become damp through sweating, it wicks sweat from the skin and dries fast. Similarly, following washing while off-grid wildcamping, it dries in under an hour when hung from a tree in a warm breeze. In cooler weather there isn't a lot of warmth in it but it can be worn over a baselayer such as the Icebreaker Sphere range which provides insulation and wicking.I'm a UK size 10-12, 1.75 metres, a slim build with 86cm chest and wear the size 12 which provides a comfortable slightly loose fit with ample room to move and stretch my arms. It's a high quality, well made, very well designed shirt ideal for outdoor active life and especially suited to outdoor adventures and travel. It folds up small, is lightweight, doesn't crease and should last for many years of outdoor travels and adventures.

Light yet reasonably sturdy material. Attention to detail in the design and the manufacturing. Comfortable cut for a woman (I am 1.61m with generous bosom), and slightly strechy material. Very thin and soft fabric, should dry up fast. The only minor issue I see is the "safety" pocket on the lower side has a metal clip to fasten it, it add a little weight to the shirt for a feature I don´t need. I also don´t find that it is an easily reachable location if you need to get your ID card / cradit card or banknotes hidden there. A great choice to go trekking for days in the wild. The anti-mosquito properties I have not been tested out yet.

Bought this shirt in SeaSalt because needed the 'Solar Shield' - 40% UV protection for the summer and walking holidays. Initially got the shirt in size 12 which was too small as it is fitted (being 58 and a size 12 - my waist is aparently not not a 12). So got it in size 14 instead and fits verry well (which is odd because Craghoppers trousers are often on the large side).Chuffed to bits having a stylish summer shirt that will protect me and my sensitive skin! (Will probably buy more of these shirts in different colours). Highly recommended!

Bought this for a trip to Borneo with friends so not used yet. However, love all the pockets and design details and it is really very well made. My friend and I both purchased these and as suggested by other customers we opted for size 14 whereas we would usually take a 12 in Wallis or M&S. Not over generous but it is suggested that loose is better than fitted in that climate. Both husbands also found the sizing rather small than usual, as a hint to anyone else. However we are all really pleased with the anti-mossie treatment they have.

I was diagnosed with a skin condition that is sensitive to the sun so I was absolutely delighted when his shirt arrived sooner than stated and in time for me to wear it for a sunny walk. I can confirm that it does exactly what it says and is ideal for sun protection, I would definitely recommend it, it is true to size and lovely soft material that didn’t get sweaty. If I could give 100 stars for service and quality of product, I would!

Had to buy a size larger as I'm tall and have long arms and I find the sleeves are never long enough but the body of it slightly big plenty of freedom to move around in it though I use it for work as I work outside and it keeps me covered from the sun one very good shirt comfortable cool lightweight highly recommended

Beautiful quality, beautiful finish, small very refined details such as the fastening of the buttons with a small ribbon, the collar is raised to protect the neck from the sun, small secure pocket for the keys, fabric inside to wipe the glasses. it's perfect. I am glad. I advise.

I love the color of this shirt, the material and quality are five star. I ordered an X-large based on the size chart, but wish i would have gotten the large for a more fitted look. The green is greener then it appears in the pictures which i was happy about.

It was the first product I bought from this brand and I was very satisfied. Light and resistant shirt. The cut and finish are excellent. My wife uses it in trekking and daily use on hot days and only compliments.

It is fabric is light but resistant. I like the shape, not too tight at the waist, which suits me very well. The color turned out a little duller than it appeared in the photo. But in short, I am delighted

Comfortable and lightweight, I used for fieldwork in Amazonia rainforest. Dries quickly. The only problem is that the fabric retains a bad smell just after a few times using it, despite washing it well.

Ordered a a size 16 but it was too big - returned it and re-ordered a 14 which I now have and it is perfect - true to size I would sayBlouse so well made - will enjoy wearing it and just love to colour

Clicked on the green picture but got a red shirt so I think the labelling is wrong but I am keeping it as it is a lovely colour. I ordered a size up because I wanted it baggy but it is true to size.
