Other reviewers are quite correct when they say this shirt is sized smaller than a typical Dickies shirt. I wear a 2XL in any other Dickies shirt, but I heeded the advice in the reviews here and got the 3XL. It was a really smart move, because the 3XL fits me really well. The 2XL would have been wearable but kind of obscenely tight. The best thing, though, is that my shirt is actually long enough without being a Tall-sized shirt. I usually order things in Tall sizes, but I decided to take the gamble on this one. Lo and behold, it is actually quite long! I have rather a long torso, so I need shirts that are a little on the long side. This shirt fits that bill!The craftsmanship is about what you can expect from Dickies: stiff,

I normally wear a large but I was going to be wearing this in a workshop and wanted a little extra room so I ordered it in XL. That was a good decision. The shirt doesn't bind when I am working and I can lift my arms overhead and it doesn't ride up in the back. The build quality is excellent, as expected from a Dickies shirt and it looks better than a plain solid color shirt.Wood dust really shows up on this black shirt, but it brushes off very easily. Looks very good even after working in the woodshop. It breathes and I don't feel overheated in it.I purchased one to try out. After wearing it in the shop for a day, I immediately purchased two more.

I don't usually review items, just no time but I made it a point to review these shirts. I absolutely love them. People compliment them and I love the look and feel. I am a roofing project manager for a large company and I own a small construction company. So in one world I am dressed as management and the other I am getting down and dirty. Both applications work well with the shirts. I also use them to wear casually as I carry a concealed weapon and if unbuttoned, still looks great, I can carry a full bodies pistol on outer waistband without people noticing. They are a little long but that is one reason I like them.

Got shirt fast and it is a really nice shirt. But here is a very important advise.Before you rip all the tags off try it on first. This shirt fits as expected and is sharp looking and well made. Heavy duty construction but not bulky. Ideal for casual summer or fall/spring dress. Though the decal is on the front and very noticeable, just take a black permanent sharpie and black it out and it blends with the rest of the shirt and is not noticeable. There are other styles, i.e. different color 'stripe' on the sides, which enables the shirt to be a different shirt. I bought three different colors; grey/black, tan and white strip on black. Worth the purchase(s). All fit the same. I'm 6'1" and wear a 46R and the Large fits perfect.

I almost always wear all black, or very dark colored clothes. I even own another Dickies work shirt (black), and both are good quality shirts. This one unfortunately is showing a bit of a wear after only a few washes. I wear it when bartending, people joked about my dark attire, so I thought I'd add some gray. I've had positive comments about it, and only wear it over a long sleeve pullover shirt. I don't wash it after every shift, it's not dirty. But it seems to have some fuzz-ing here and there. Overall though, a very nice shirt. The female customers like it a lot on me.

I've purchased several of these on Amazon, as they're cheaper (especially if you can get free shipping) than buying them at Wal-Mart or Sears. I like the color on the sides as a little bit "fashionable" when I wear them out. Mostly I use these when tearing down engines or working on machinery around the house. The two breast pockets come in handy for holding small items like note pad or loose screws, or my cell phone. It also has a pen holder stitched into one pocket. Be advised, this product runs about 1 size smaller so don't be offended if you have to buy a bigger size.

I ranked this "fit as expected" because the other reviews I read indicated they ran a bit small. I bought a 3XT for my son who usually wears a 2XT and although I thought it looked big and boxy as I took it out of the package, he felt that it fit him through the chest just right and he liked the looseness at the bottom for extra room. He sings and on stage he prefers not to have his arms to be bound up, so it worked for us!! The material is of good quality and the workmanship was also of high quality! It's a winner!!

This looks nice on my husband. He is 3X and gives him a slimming muscular look. Fits as expected. He looks hot in it! I think the color coming down the sides makes for that slim muscular hot look it gives my husband.they do rinkle so iron after wash and dry. They do not have a fold down button pockets which my husband dose like to have, but he said it's ok he can flip his work badge hanger around to still clip it to the shirt pocket.

I ordered a 3x and the size is more in line with a typical 2X...Maybe even a 2X-tall. These shirts run a little on the slim side and I knew that going in so the choice worked out great for me. Dickies shirts have also proven to be less static-prone than other shirts of similar synthetic blends. I am not sure how they manage it. I do not order these for a work uniform myself. I like the fit and the fact that they are easy to replace.

Being a 6'3" slim guy, I find it hard to find shirts that fit me well. If they fit well around my torso they are usually too short in length, or if they are the correct length I end up drowning in them between the shoulders. This shirt feels like it was made just for me, almost tailored for my frame. I will surely be buying more of these shirts in the future.

I have always liked the fit of these shirts however in this instance the shirt was actuality to small. If your used to wearing a 2x for the extra breathing room when working on cars,bikes etc.. Id suggest going with the big and tall version of this shirt. It has a longer tail keeping plumbers crack down to minimum when lifting your arms in the air. :-)

Love it so much I bought 3 more. Comfortable and very professional looking. FYI I am 5'11 and almost 200lbs evenly distributed (my daughter says I have a "little belly") and a large was a perfect fit. So yes the fitment was spot on. Got the black shirts with gray stripes so it doesn't show the 15/40 diesel oil change stains as easily. Awesome!!!

The shirt is slightly larger than I expected but I'm still happy with it. The fabric is a little heavier but it's a work shirt and so I expect it to be this way. I haven't worn it on a hot day so I can't yet describe if it's breathable. But, I'm getting ready to buy another one as soon as I'm finished with this review so that's worth something.

Good quality shirt. Size ran a bit small, that being said I have two other "Dickies" brand shirts in the same size and all three fit differently. I imagine they must come from different factories around the world depending on style and where you purchase. I'd order anouther if this one gets wrecked, just one size larger.
