Bought to replace some venerable Cole & Mason salt and pepper grinders that had begun to degrade after many years of service (the matte plastic had begun to get tacky and rubberised, making them less appealing). Bought these on a lightning deal, and I am essentially happy, although I do not think that I would have been as happy at the higher advertised price (n.b.; lightning price is available elsewhere).The positives.Both mills have a chrome finish that should prove durable, and which should not degrade as per the previous grinder housing.The inverter idea is clever thinking, and should result in less mess on the table and in drawers.The variable grinder settings for both salt and pepper work

Bought as a replacement for ancient S&P mills. The inverta idea means that you don't get the usual salt and pepper mess left behind on the table. The only drawback is that people who have never come across them before sometimes need coaching! Once they've got the idea, they wonder why it hadn't been done before, but Cole & Mason have been producing them for years. Good sturdy items, with the option to choose how fine or coarse the ground salt and pepper comes out.

I bought this to match the pepper grinder purchased in TK Maxx. The copper is really plastic so be wary of placing to near to a hob etc. The style is very practical as grinding can easily be adjusted with a choice of five settings. Perhaps the best feature is that the dispensing area sits at the top when not in use so that there is no spillage or debris left on the worktop after use.

First thing they look good 2nd thing easy to use when grinding no jumping or sticking so far I think that is down to the ceramic grinders very smooth action also the courseness of the grind can be adjusted by turning the black strip 3 types for salt 5 types for pepper comes pre loaded with s&p which is a bonus I can ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT DOUBT RECOMMEND THESE GRINDERS

I had these salt and pepper mills bought for me as a gift and although I am very happy with them there is a spring one and a half centimetres long floating around in with the peppercorns, I can’t help but worry this is an important part and even though I have taken it out now, what was it doing there and will it continue to work without it in the right place ?

Very happy with quality & functionality - albeit counter-intuitive to spin over to grind (but you get used to it). It’s all plastic of course but sturdy nonetheless. Good capacity & easy refill. Got settings on medium (too much choice) but you can bespoke so nice feature. Who would have thought a pepper grinder would have its own YouTube channel?

I have been looking for a pepper/salt mill for sometimes. I bought a lot of them until I had dinner at M Restaurant. They had these mills and they were brilliant. You can adjust how thin you can mill your salt or pepper. They are very good. We have been using them for some time, and they have not let us down yet. I would recommend this product.

These are great as they do not pick up the dirt from worktops over time. However they tend to end up covered in salt at the top, so there's advantages and disadvantages to this layout. Not sure if a different material would work better.Otherwise standard good quality from a Cole and Mason product.

We had a cheaper set before these. Looked at the high street shops and they were going for almost twice the price sold as single items. We got them here and wow... the salt dispenser is really making probably the biggest difference. Both are brilliant. You can also change the grain size. Worth it

Not had it long, but it looks nice and is very well made. The main thing is that it grinds the pepper very well and the adjustment of grind coarseness works well and is useful. the grinder outlet being at the top is good but takes a bit of getting used to. All in all would recommend this product.

Someone producing salt and pepper mills that stand the correct way up. No mess left on the table, cupboard or counter top. Good grind, smooth mechanism and working well. I use them most days and am happy with the quality, cleanliness and salt and pepper output.

I thought this was going to be an automatic grinder, but you have to turn them upside down and manually grind. I thought they would be taller but they are quite short and fat. it's well made, robust and a very nice copper colour too.

Very easy to select how coarse you require your pepper and the setting does not change unlike the screw adjustments of inferior peppermills.All in all a good purchase and would buy again - hope there is no need to for many years.

I got both the salt and pepper mills and can honestly say these are the best I’ve ever had!! Was a bit dubious paying the price but it’s so worth it, it’s true you get what you pay for! You won’t be disappointed

Great little grinder. Bought this to replace my extra grip OXO grinder. Looks good and feels solid and so far grinds well. A bit on the expensive side for a pepper mill but hopefully should last long
