I bought mine directly from my local clarks store on my local high street but thought i would write a review anyway.I have wanted a pair of brogues for years but was always told, they are too mannish etc, this year i decided i didnt care what anyone else thought and went and bought them.They are so comfortable, like having slippers on your feet, i am very impressed. They have air pockets on the inside soles to help cushion your feet and it is blissful.The 1st time i wore them however, i had them on for 2 hours and suddenly felt what i thought was grit in my left shoe, on taking the shoe off did i discover that it has ripped off my skin the size of a 50p piece on my inner left ankle and boy did it hurt for weeks after,

If you are at all unsure about buying these, don't be. They are worth every penny!These shoes are so nice to wear!Initially they were very narrow for my feet and I wish I'd known Clarks also sell these in a wide fit, will know that for next time!I usually wear a size 4 and the size 4 fits me fine in these too, as I say they do come up quite narrow but most brogues do I suppose.They are very comfy now they're worn in a bit, look great with any outfit and I get so many compliments on how cute my shoes are.I love them to bits and recommend them to anyone! They are the first decent pair of shoes I have purchased in a long time and I would 100% buy them again. They're also great in wet weather,

After all the years of wearing cheap shoes - and pretty much wrecking my feet, I decided to just bite the bullet and go with Clarks. Thank God I did because these are amazing! I'm a size 7 (regular) but was actually ready to order a 7.5 to be safe as I don't usually buy shoes online. Because I don't buy shoes online, I actually went into the store and tried them on, so I would suggest that this is the way forward if you have the opportunity. The leather is slightly stiff at first, but I know I'll be able to wear these all day so am very happy with the money I spent - especially the fact that it was £60 in the shop. The lady who served me was lovely, but I didn't have the heart to tell her that I was just trying then on,

I have them in black and just received a new pair in dark tan leather, they are really comfy and I think they fit well. I am a size 5/5 with sensitive feet that cannot wear many shoes without getting pain, and I walk quite a lot in my shoes...and that's the size I order and they fit perfectly. There is no need to break them through, they are comfy from the start. I always weatherproof them with a suitable product and this way, they keep very well through the various weather. I odered these as a back up for when my previous and first pair falls apart. I actually just took them to the shoemaker to refit the insole and they look like new and I have worn them a lot for the past 2 years...so don't seem ready to fall apart quite yet!

These shoes represent Clarks at their very best. They are beautifully made in a top quality leather, finished to a A+ standard and they just ooze class on and off the foot. They were bought for my daughter as school shoes and although I would have preferred more choice in the width fittings I appreciate that the extra choices are only available in children's shoes. We did look at this style type in the children's section but nothing stood out after having seen this pair. After some scouting around we found the widest fit (the 'E') and placed our order. Unfortunately for us though we could only find this fit at top price, but I'm still very happy with the purchase. Lastly,

I have purchased Clarks Hamble Oak Women's Derby Black shoes two days ago, and I have received it today. Great condition and look just like the image! These shoes look lovely and comfortable when I had tried them on, I don't want to mess them up because they are so shiny and nice style. The inside of the shoes has great cushion for the bottom of your feet so I can see these will feel fine as I stand and walking around quite a bit during my job which the cushion/comfort is important to me. :) I have specifically purchased these for my job so over time they may become worn down and somewhat scratched but I will make sure that will not happen anytime soon. And great packaging too,

I wasn't sure about this shoe when I bought it. I normally take wide fitting, but I needed a pair of smart black shoes that day for a morning interview the next day, and I was willing to take the chance.I'm glad I did! These shoes looked so narrow, but once they were on they fit my great big flippers perfectly. It's like magic.If your foot ranges from regular to wide, you'll be fine. If your feet are super wide or super narrow, I'm not sure this will fit you well. Just bear that in mind.They also have a lovely padded sole, and look very smart and stylish. Clatks always make good quality shoes, and these are no exception.The only issue I would say is that the laces are a bit short.

As always with Clark’s shoes, excellent quality and immediate comfort. I wear mostly Clark’s Hamble Oak brogue shoes in varying colors (mainly black it has to be said) but took the plunge in these animal print shoes as they were well priced and do make a bit of a statement whilst not yelling in the office environment. I was pleasantly reassured that the fit as normal was very good and as soon as you slip them on they feel so comfortable you can wear them all day and drive in them comfortably too. Do invest in a shoe horn for this model if you don’t use one already or you will damage your shoes and the backs of your heels as I found out hopping round the room having misplaced mine :0)

I have had trouble in recent times with clarks and rieker. width of foot did not fall in narrow nor wide nor normal ! Then came an expensive brand with rustic gold colour (I love bling ) but they were atrociously fitted for the price. Stopped buying shoes. The recent purchases have restored confidence. These are simply made for me. I am a size 5 and generally avoid stuff like c and d and e. taking. chance on sicking '5' generally works best. I would say I am just slightly more than normal foot size. The gold colour is fascinating. I could look at them all day ! It is not cheap looking at all. Bought in sale so doubly pleased. Will wear it when I do interesting stuff.

My wife was in desperate need of some work shoes that would be ok for doing a lot of walking, and these have worked brilliantly.My wife is normally a size 7.5 (her feet are quite broad) but a regular size 8 fit her perfectly. So just be careful with sizing with Clarks.My wife wears these brogues with her suit and with socks, which helps massively with the comfort, as well as the soles being very cushioned.One thing to note is the shoes do not have a great deal of grip, hence the 4 stars, and the base soles of the shoes are very smooth.Being real leather the shoes age well, and any scuffs coming out easily.All in all very much recommended (by my wife).

These are beautiful and fit lovely for me. I went into a Clarks store before buying to see what I thought and I noticed all the shop assistants were wearing them so they must be comfortable for all day wear and hard wearing. I've only worn them and a few times and they have always been comfortable for me. The tan colour is beautiful as well. I also purchased a black pair and can say exactly the same on those. Side Note: I'm usually a wide fit in most styles of shoe but I purchased these in the standard fit and they were absolutely fine - they don't pinch at all. Just worth knowing if you're a wide fit like me

These shoes are beautiful and well made. I also received them within a couple of days, so no problem with this. However, for me the comfort was compromised with style! I ordered a 4.5 D, which is normally my shoe size. Unfortunately, they felt too wide around my toes and in spite of wearing a thin pair of socks as opposed to pop-socks I had several blisters on my toes by the end of the day due to friction. I will try to wear them with a thicker pair of socks to iron out the problem. The leather is hard to break in although I did wear them at home a few times for 20 minutes before wearing them outside.

These shoes just ooze CLASS. I love brogue shoes and have wanted a pair for a while - this is the first pair I bought. I have had so many compliments about them and its so great they do half sizes because that's what I fall into - a lot of the time when the sizes are just whole I have to bounce between size 7 and size 8 because they can be so inconsistent. But these shoes look great in reality, feel great in reality and I could not recommend them more. You may have to wiggle your foot a bit at first but that's just to break into them as they're new. Once they're actually on your feet all is fine.

These were waiting for me after I'd been working on my feet for about 8 hours.. tried them on straight away and just kept them on. They look and feel fabulous. I cannot fault these shoes. I am a standard size 5, sometimes more comfortable in a wide fit for work as on my feet a lot. But... these do not squeeze my feet even when they are at their most over worked swollen shape...They look slim all the time even when I have to widen the laces to take into account my feets reaction to a hard day.The quality is superb and style goes with anything. Totally recommend these. High quality footwear.

My daughter who is 16 and doing A levels wanted a brown shoes for school to wear with her tweed type skirts. Our local Clarks don't serve loan children for some reason so after looking at in the shop and trying it on I ordered it for her from Amazon at a better price. She loves the shoes, wears it a lot to school and her friends thinks it's great! My daughter says it is very comfortable and as I've had a pair of Hamble shoes in Silver for 4 years I know they last. Fit is mostly fine, but as she measures a 6.5 we ordered the 7 which is a nice fit on the toes.
