Bought these based on reviews and "the look"on line! Totally exceeded expectations. Snobby husband ( lol) only expects you can get a good shoe for over £250 so this was my challenge! They fit well, look good and he says they are very comfortable! He needed a smart , comfy , everyday wear shoe, to go with casual trousers and these look really nice. The bit of stitching along the front just adds the touch of class required and they look great!! He loves them and most important , as I have to look at them , so do I !!!! They look really, really good and he says, really comfy!! Well done Clarkes... You have a new very happy customer!

I have worn two pairs of these over the past few years and they are really great shoes. They look great, feel great, and last a pretty long time (if you polish them occasionally like I do). The first minor problem I have noticed is that the ball of the sole wears out a lot for me over time. This is probably specific to the way I walk and can easily be alleviated with an insole. The second problem is that both pairs I have owned squeak like crazy on waxed or polished floors. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. I can be heard 30 feet away and people tease me about it at work. I'm really not sure why they squeak or how to fix it. I don't hear other men having this problem.

I wear a size 12 in my tennis shoes, sandals, hunting boots, work boots, as well as my dress shoes...but this size 12 shoe was over an INCH too long. I could only wear these for about 5 minutes before I got fed up with my heel already feeling a blister forming. I ended up returning these and ordered a size 11.5 and they fit much better. Once you get over that first week of blisters with new shoes, these shoes are super comfortable. I love the air/foam pockets in the insoles as well...really provides some extra padding while walking. I really hope these shoes last longer than my last pair of dockers (2 years) or I may have to go back to buying the cheapies at Kohl's

I was doing a contract job as a trainer/facilitator at a pet food company and To enter and get to the training room required non slip shoes. My issue with these type of shoes is that you can usually tell by the look that the shoes are not as classy looking than a black dress shoe and (to me) distracts from a business casual look and dress pants; not sure if that makes sense but generally have a slight rugged or less dressy look-I was very happy to see that this shoe has the best of both worlds- a polishable crisp look with great traction on the bottom.VERY pleased with the look and feel of these shoes and highly recommend!

I am usually a size 9 1/2 but buy size 10. I bought these 9 1/2 and they fit just right, have a little give.They are super comfy, the leather feels tough enough to know it will mold around my feet. I like the little stretchy patch just beneath the top lace, this helps with pulling on the shoe or when feeling lazy and I want to kick off my shoes without unlacing them (I don't do this often).My other shoes are a pair of Loake shoes, and I haven't managed to find any other pair which has the comfort and quality to substitute them especially now that I don't see many colleagues/clients.

I've seen some negative reviews for these shoes...I can only report my experience.For about 10 years I've bought M&S shoes - they look good but boy do you have to wear them in - shoe stretchers, heel-bandages etc.I've never bought a pair of work shoes online before but these are utterly brilliant! - Smart, comfortable from the 1st wearing and they really haven't scuffed at all despite 4 x days a week commuting to London and on the tube. They don't slip in the wet...I could go on but I've found them to be just the p-e-r-f-e-c-t work shoe.Highly Recommended!

I bought these for work as I seem to have a habit of getting through a cheap pair of work shoes every 3-6 months (I work in Pathology so they are usually subject to chemicals and lots of power walking round the hospital). These have lasted me over a year so far and are still going strong. They are very comfortable and look really good. Thanks to the usual bargain of Amazon, these cost about the same as the supermarket shoes I'd usually go for but have lasted so much better. Will try to buy these again when they do finally fall apart on me.

I have worn Clarks shoes for years now and generally find them to be durable, comfortable and attractive looking. I usually visit the Clarks shop when it's time to buy a new pair but with the Covid lockdown, this was not possible. I am very impressed with my Amazon Clarks purchase. The shoes are very comfortable and needed virtually no wearing in. I have been for two long walks wearing the shoes and there were no issues at all. The shoes were promptly delivered by Amazon and fitted me perfectly. Highly recommended.

I brought these shoes as I am in hospitality and am in my feet for an excess of 10 hours a day, the other shoes I had gave me terrible blisters to oreders these, my honest review they are amazing, I have never had shoes that have been so comfy yet so smart whoever designed the consept of these needs credit as I am baffled by the sheer comfiness of them, I can rave about these all day but I will leave this review by saying I highly recommend these for any industry, Thankyou sooo much for these shoes!!!!!!

I had bought a brown pair of these from a Clarks outlet about 6 months ago and my Husband has practically lived in them since then as he finds them so comfortable. Not common to find a shoe that is both comfy and yet stylish at the same time. So I have purchased another pair on Amazon but this time in black for him. Price was a little higher than paid at Clarks outlet but that's to be expected and as I know he'll love these as much as the first pair the price was not really an important factor.

I was looking for a pair of dress shoes for under $100 and saw these, I have some Clark boots that I love and decided to take a gamble on some online black dress shoes. First I ordered my size 11.5 and they fit perfectly, they slid right onto my foot with no need of a horn out of the box and they fit like a glove. I actually wore them for about 8 hours just around the house after they arrived which is why I want another pair for slippers, first time I laid in bed with shoes on, and I loved it.

Very comfortable show. The expandable slit on the upper makes it easy to fit my somewhat large foot in (i use size 8.5 M US). Light but solid shoe. Great craftsmanship - no imperfections.This shoe style is ideal for formal or semi-formal (office) occasions.My one concern is with creasing. As of now there are three modest "crease sections" across the front. if they stay that way I am fine with them, but I hope that this shoe will not look old before its time.

Recently purchased but the shoe is already comfortable. The style I got also has some stretchiness to the "tongue" of the shoe which makes putting it on nice, but you do have to remember to tie it tight so that walking feels normal. It looks great and the sole hasn't had me slipping around on slick like some other shoes. Thinking of buying another pair to replace the brown shoes (of another inexpensive brand) I recently bought and don't like as much.

These dress shoes are awesome. I've gotten plenty of complements on them at work (I'm a teller). I'm constantly walking throughout the day and they feel great. They fit me just fine and I broke them in after a day of use. The insole is very well padded and worked well despite me being very flat footed. The leather top helps it breathe well so no foot odor problems so far. They also slip on fairly easily so that's bonus points for ease of access!

Wow! I love Clark’s shoes!! Bought these for my husband as his daily work shoes. He wears them for over 10 hours a day and says they are an absolute dream to wear. Super comfortable and he loves the bottom not sounding like ladies shoes. I actually bought a brown pair cause he loved them so much. They look great with jeans and or dress pants. Definitely buy these if you are looking for a great pair of quality shoes that won’t break the bank.
