I've been sceptical about these rapid-pitch tents, but finding one with a double-skin made it worth taking a chance on one to try for festivals and car-camping. I was impressed: It does indeed go up rapidly with the central feature, although it's a slightly different proposition in a stiff breeze as the joints in the middle of the poles tend to try to bend wrong way as you are pitching it: It was calm when I tried it in the garden, but decidedly breezy at the festival. However, once full erected and guyed down, it seems pretty stable. It does take a few minutes to pitch, maybe five or six, including securing all the guys, but still faster than my trusty old Vango. It also remained completely dry inside even with a couple of days of pelting rain showers, which had previously worried me, and does with any unknown tent. Very happy about that.So why have I knocked it down one star? Well, the main zip feels a little flimsy. It hasn't actually failed, but I've seen other reviews citing this issue, and they are not top quality zippers, but so far have been adequate for the job.Secondly, although I'm only 5'10" high, I find the tent a little short inside when I stretch out. So, anyone taller may have problems in here for sure. Finally, and this is purely my own view, black guy-lines are definitely a no-no, and after falling over these several times, I've replaced with some bright green ones to match the tent, with a reflective twist in them. That will solve this problem in future, I hope!Overall, a decent tent and definitely faster to pitch than most, if not as fast as is sometimes stated. Waterproof, comfy, fairly roomy, and lots of ventilation options for hot weather too. Remains dry inside in heavy rain too. Internal dimensions could be an issue, and I'm hoping that the main zipper doesn't fail, otherwise a worthwhile buy.

I have had many tents over the years and I have to say given the spec of this tent you will struggle to do better for the money(£100).It stood up to some quite tasty weather in the Ogwen Valley North Wales over a period of three days.65mph gusts during the first night had the rear legs collapsing on the lower pole joints(very easy to flick back in place from inside the tent with some practice and the weather gave us plenty of that LOL) but at no time did this compromise the tent at all,if anything this is maybe what allowed the tent to survive as many around us with fixed poles were having thier tents broken and/or torn during the storm. The second night saw torrential rain that lasted justover seven hours and all we saw was three spots inside the tent, with a hydrostatic head of only 3000mm this was seriously impressive.Plenty of room inside for two plus kit.TIP; When pegging the front door DO NOT forget/miss the fact that the inner groundsheet has to be included(you will see the loops provided, one peg through two loops),if you miss these your porch area may let in water if the rain is heavy enough.More detailed instructions would not hurt however(if the manufacturer could add these),as not everyone is fully understanding of the minor nuances when pitching a tent correctly. These additions to the instruction package could allow even a complete novice to get the best performance from thier purchase.

Waited till after a festival. Ive not checked the waterproof level yet as we had it under a 3x3 gazebo. It slept three people comfortably, one on a sun lounger and two on memory foam. Could fit a 4th adult but would be cozy.I did a trial run (or 3) as I dont have full strength in my arm. On 3rd attempt I got it, everyone else got it on 1st attempt. It probably didnt help that im 5'3" as have to stand part under tent to reach top when up. It can be done though, but much easier if slightly taller. Learnt if poles bend wrong way on putting up makes it more difficult (due to where I was standing due to height), just readjust them so all bend out (so quick and easy), then it goes up very easily. Also I didnt notice the strengthining clip at top till second attempt. The way the porch is sealed up, there are no gaps between base and gound at all. Even the guide ropes have there own little pockets for tuckign the string away.I had the avon eurohike before and would say this is the same size (although porch ever so slightly smaller). Absolutely adore this tent and cannot wait for more adventures. The bag is also perfectly designed for easy fitting not just a straight across zip. I also recommend watching carefully when you firstly unfold it for how to repack it, but lots of videas online (one with biker excellent).

I'll start by saying that I nearly considered 4.5* but that isn't this tent's fault as it's Qeedo that are making it difficult to buy add ons. Just been away in this & it with stood some pretty strong gusts & horrendous rains,up in NW Scotland, the tent with stood it all. Very easy to pitch although I'm sure it described the guylines as luminous - they're not. Inner dimensions are 2mx2m but with the slope of the tent it's probably less so wouldn't do for tall people- I'm 6'2" (186ish) & my feet would touch one end. Plenty of room for 2 & at 2m 3 would be easy although cozy. It isn't really a trekking tent, because of quick pitch it's quite bulky & obviously no way of splitting the load. All in all a great tent so far.Things to note;- Currently you can't buy the footprint in the UK & the Europeans stockists don't post to the UK, I had to get my son (based in the Netherlands) to order it & then post it too me. The 2020 design differs from 2019, no roof canopy & you can't buy one! No side vents, all ventilation is at ground level & done the job. You also used to be able to buy a Quick storm kit, which was additional straps to increase rigidity, again impossible to buy.

The pop-up design incorporates what they call a safety hook, which hooks through the central mechanism to prevent it from spontaneously coming apart, as when you want to collapse the tent and pack it away. Unfortunately on my tent, this was not central, could not be forced to be central no matter how hard I tried, and therefore leaned over in a direction that meant the hook tended to come out of its own accord -- because there was no way of locking the hook in place. This happened several times after I had erected the tent and hammered in all the tent pegs. This meant pulling them all out, and starting from scratch all over again. Some very disappointed children. However, instead of relying on their hook,I discovered later on that I could place a small carabiner where the hook was supposed to go, and the problem was solved. We went on to experience winds gusting to 50mph over night, with violent rain squalls, and the tent remained solidly in place, and completely dry inside. So in summary, the tent performs well in the most important respects, and I have amended my review accordingly.

Withstood downpours at Download festival, stayed dry. Yes it goes up in sixty seconds but I had to ask a fellow camper to erect it because the mechanism is very stiff and requires great strength to work it. Not sure why that is. Easy to peg and guy ropes in nice pockets, tidy. Room for two. Roomy for one. Got folding cart in the porch with muddy wellies which was great. I am 5' 3" and it was awkward getting out of the tent due to low height of porch. Inside height meant I could stand bent over. Cleans easily and there was plenty of mud on it. All dirt comes off black material on the bottom with damp wipe. Outside wet when packed, but wipes dry easily. The plastic window covers trapped condensation which wipes offices easily when you unzip and wipe dry. The tent is unfolded in the conservatory but again I cannot erect this tent to dry erect because the mechanism needs strength to push the two parts one up, one down till they are in place. I am baffled as video makes it look easy.

Really good tent. The pole mechanism is excellent, enabling the tent to be pitched in just a few minutes, and most of that time is pegging it out. At first glance it seems a shame the awning arch uses a traditional pole, but it clips in rather than having to feed it through loops, so even this is quick and easy.Once pitched, this is a decent compact tent with plenty of room for two people and a bit of luggage. There are some very handy features, like prop-open air vents, a clip-on ground sheet in the awning, and a rear door for midnight toilet trips. And when you're done, it comes down even faster than it went up, and fits back into its bag with no trouble.Only two negative points: it isn't a black-out tent,so expect to be woken by the morning light; and buy the blue one, because this shade of green is an absolute magnet for insects. Even better, buy the green one for your friends, pitch your own (blue) tent 5m away, and you'll never be bothered by insects again.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tent. Good water resistance, and stands up to the wind pretty well when pitched correctly (however it can be a pain to pitch in the wind due to the hinges on the poles). We test-pitched this in our garden once before a road trip, and after that we managed to pitch it in just a few minutes each night. Hugely convenient. The pitch & take-down has a few quirks and irritations to get used too, but it's still far easier and faster than pitching a regular tent.Sleeping area is fairly spacious for two people, probably a squeeze for three. We slept two adults and a dog no problem, with space for bags inside too. The front "porch" area is very small, but big enough to store a bag or two and your muddy boots for the night. If you need somewhere to cook you may want to purchase something bigger or an additional shelter.

Brilliant tent- very easy to use and no problem putting up by yourself. The interior space can fit a double air-mattress though length wise it is snug. I'm 5'9 and found it was just about wide enough when stretched out. The porch is a good size and can easily fit bags and any fragrant boots you don't want in the main tent after a long day walking. The double skin means little to no condensation next morning.Tent goes up and comes down very quickly. Would advise practising at home a few times however before heading off if you can as can take a few attempts to refold correctly to get back in bag (which is spacious).Only downside I'd say is that the guy-lines are black - a strange colour choice as it did result in a few trips over the lines in the low light levels. Will be replacing them before next trip.

I wanted a no nonsense tent, something that could be erected in minutes and this certainly fits the bill. The text compacts to a conventional tent carry bag shape, not like the flat pancake shape of a pop up tent. I love the colour, and I ve been away on five trips already with the tent, and it s so quick and easy. The instructions are sewn into the bag, and they re very easy to follow. This can be erected on your own in less than four minutes. It s sturdy when erected properly, and has withstood heavy rain without any issue. It s a German made tent, extremely well constructed, and a great design. I would suggest though if you re looking for a four man tent, this would be slightly on the compact side.I m six foot four, and would take three of me without compromising space.

So easy to put up, pops up in just a few minutes the first time even quicker The second time very spacious bedroom section and the porch bit is big enough to store stuff in windows are ok but get misty when door is closed, the vents on the sides don’t seem to do much as when doors are closed the tent was very hot inside but the netting on both sides of the sleeping area allow for lots of ventilation with the Outer doors open but wouldn’t want to sleep with them open at night it is a really nice tent and looking forward to our next weekend trip awayThere is only two of us using it and the room is adaquate three will be close best you know the people well ha ha

I'm a complete rookie when it comes to camping and putting up tents; but the Qeedo Oak 3 was quick and simple to put up, and fold away. Inside the tent's carry bag was 5 easy steps to follow. The tent is at a good height for the average person (I'm 5'10), and quite spacious inside. Although I had the tent to myself (there enough room to spread eagle and put my travel gear besides me), I can imagine it could hold 2 people comfortable with room to spare. Definitely fit 3, but it may be cosy. The porch was great, which allowed me to keep out door gear dry from the rain.Overall a really great tent for anyone going to a festival or a short trip in countryside

This is a good tent. I'm not an experienced camper but wanted something securely waterproof and decently roomy to use during a 4-day music and literary festival. The way of putting it up, with the main frame already in place inside, really does work, and it went up very smoothly and the tent fulfilled its function for the duration of the festival. My only problem is that some others in my party kindly took the tent down for me when I was away from the campsite - and removed the central frame from the tent. I just hope I can work out how to re-insert the frame and put the tent up again next summer! It certainly won't be so 'Quick'! :-(

Excellent tent. Does what it claims. Genuinely takes little more than 5 mins to put up and to take down as well. Fits one person in comfort, two if they don’t have much kit but I wouldn’t want to be in there with three! Tent stood up to the wind and rain in North Wales with no problems. Slight leakage through the seams on the porch which puddled a little in the porch area but inside inner everything completely dry.Only niggles are carry bag seams came apart on first use and will need to be repaired and the use of black guy ropes is a silly oversight. Otherwise very pleased indeed!

Took this tent with me on my motor bike for one night away. Bikers will be surprised to see how big it is but not too big (fit across the back seat resting on the panniers). After a long ride, it was great just to pop it up and peg it out. I was skeptical as how robust the the would be but it put through it's paces during the night with prolonged heavy rain and a stiff breeze. Roomy for one person and kit it kept me dry and comfortable. Striking camp the next day was just as straightforward as it was pitching the tent. A real winner. Look forward to many mote nights away with it.
