Me and my wife go camping, backpacking, and motorcycle camping. We bring some perishable food with us for the first day or so.. Nothing beats bacon and eggs. We did a lot of looking around and a lot of trial and error I probably got 5-10 sets of cookware in the garage. This one is made of nonstick aluminum and has a fold over talon handle. I’ve used this to cook breakfast (bacon, eggs, etc...) to frying some fresh caught fish to the fat squirrel eating my peanuts.After many uses I have the Pros and cons.Pros-- Nice wide base and high walls keep food even and from falling out.Pros-- balanced and can be left along for short periods of time without falling over due to handle weightPros-- Nests

Haveing used the MSR and the 2-Quick set, for many years. The Mrs & I haveing years of camping and touring experience. We decided we wanted a frying pan, Skillet, the first port of call MSR website to check the spec, and confirmed the Skillet will go under the larger pot. knowing MSR have quality equipment I had no quarms in buying this, the handle is completely removable as it is on the 2 quick talllon handle, so if we need a extra handle when not frying, can have a handle, for a pot. About time MSR add a frying pan / skillet to the 2-Quick set.

This is great. I bought it to replace another camping skillet I had which was very difficult to clean. This is exactly what I was looking for - the food did not stick and it was super easy to clean. I made eggs and pancakes in it on my last camping trip. I also used it to sauté onions and peppers over an open campfire and it did not burn. I’m happy I found this for my cooking needs while camping. Fits well on the msr backpacking stove. Very light.

I got this pan to go with the MSR Quick 2 cookset. It snuggles right on the bottom of the stack. Its nonstick surface is good. Washes easy and I use plastic scrubbie covered sponge with no problems. The cookset only comes with one handle so this second one is helpful for the second pot if I do not need to use the pan. Handle is steady when the pan is loaded.The whole set is very lightweight. I think it will hold up nicely.

I'm an ultralight backpacker who takes fresh food and likes to cook good meals on trips. This skillet has been very nice and weighs less than my smaller aluminium pots (my titanium pots are still lighter). I've cooked pizza and other meals using this skillet, and it's my go-to piece of cooking equipment for making more elaborate meals. It does not come with a lid, but I cut a pie pan which works well for this purpose.

Love this skillet. Use it on my camp stove when car camping and people appreciate the eggs and sausage. Even though it’s nonstick, I make sure to use olive oil with most foods, and use a wooden spatula. Tip for users: put a single paper towel in the center when not using. That way the handle won’t scratch the surface when folded. Also can use paper towel to clean when in a hurry.

The pan stows easily with the removable handle. It is very light, and the high sides make cooking a snap. It can cook solid or saucy foods with ease. Wasted money on a supposed backpacking pan at REI that was way too heavy, and very cumbersome. But this MSR Flex Quick Skillet is just about perfect. Absolutely a must-have in our backpacking kit now.

I love this little skillet. We recently used it along with the MSR Quick 2 System Cook Set this past weekend. The set nests nicely inside the skillet. We made breakfast burritos (eggs, sausage, hash browns) all using the little skillet and a campstove. It distributed heat evenly and wiped clean afterwards. We could not be happier.

Used this quit a lot before writing this review , really happy with this, it is really easy to clean even after frying steak in it which always to make a mess of things. Nice size for me as it fits in perfectly with my camping cook kit, not to big it's a pain not to small so you can't fit anything in it.

this a great addition to my MSR Quick 2 System cook set. nests in just fine.. wished I had room for the second handle within the nest of stuff but no big deal to just throw it into my bag next to it. heck I even used it as a third plate when I needed it! Good buy on this item!

We bought this to use with our jetboil flash to cook and reheat food. We always use Pam and this is very nonstick. Super easy to clean. Distributed heat well even with the jet boil. Very light weight and the handle bends in to make it more portable.

Weighs less than claimed, 5.7 Oz. Only thing is wish was different is the handle. Would prefer it to pivot the other way. That way it would still work if the handle lock broke. Works fine like it is. I'm just thinking long term and rough use.

I’ve recently started dehydrating my own food for backpacking and this thing is great for cooking. It does scratch easily, though, and the handle comes off more easily when packed than I’d like. Still happy with the purchase all around.

Unlike my MSR Alpine Pan, it is completely not sticky. I haven't used it long thought. Some reviews claim the "non-stick" is short-lived. We'll see.The handle is very easy to attach-detach. It is much lighter than the Alpine.

This was a present for my husband he was very pleased with it he has lots of MSR items so expect this will be to the usual high standard when he uses it. Great price as got when offer was on and speedy delivery.
