There’s not really a lot to be said about a bit of fabric formed into a pocket, closed by a zip, and strengthened with some foam. But I’ll give it a go.First of all, I like it. When I popped my 13” Macbook Pro into it I thought ‘yes’ this will provide adequate protection. The foam padding, though fairly thin, is sufficient to offer protection against minor contact, but it certainly wouldn’t protect it against drops, but then it isn’t designed to do that. The fabric reminds me of the stuff they use to make camera bags. It feels tough enough to stand a fair bit of use. The zip opens about a quarter of the way on one short side, all the way along one long side and then three-quarters of the way down the other short side. This makes access very easy and there is a reasonable amount of free space so the laptop is a comfortable fit. The inside is lined with what feels like a polyester, green/khaki coloured, material. There’s nothing else to it. No extra pockets, just a loop on the outside made of the material that forms the green stripe. I’ve no idea what the purpose of this is. It’s too big, and too exposed, for a pen. This is a nice basic case. It will do the job of protecting, and providing a bit of padding, for a 13” laptop. I’m happy with it. But it’s as well to mention that it comes with no straps or handles, so it may well find itself needing another bag to carry it in. This is not a problem for me because I need it more for protection when stored than to transport it. This is worthy of consideration.

This is a smart 'second-skin' case, with a subtle patterned weave to the outside fabric. The maximum size laptop it can take as described on the label is 13.5 x 0.7 x 9.1 inches (34.3 x 1.8 x 23.1 centimetres). My 12.5 inch thick heavy laptop fits well into it without moving around, but I can see it would take a laptop of the proportions described. The 'second skin' is well padded and weighs in at a light 150 grams on my kitchen scales. It also looks at least showerproof, with well-protected zips, and the picture shows a woman walking about outside with this under her arm. The fabric is non slip. You would probably however use this to protect your laptop in another bag or luggage - it would take lateral bashes well but I wouldn't want to drop it.There is no handle, or pocket inside or outside, for a charger, and only one fabric hook which you could use to attach to a line or belt. Unlike some of the more sophisticated iPad cases I have seen, you need to take the laptop out of the protective case to use it.

I was looking for a sleeve while travelling and came across this one in Hungary. All the other 15.4 inch ones were way too big and loose so tried the 13.3 inch and love it! One needs to slightly pull away the zipper when closing but once it’s closed the MBP won’t move inside at all. The inner padding is also nicely overlapping edges exactly as I wanted. It won’t protect my MBP from any damage when dropped for sure - none of my previous cases did anyway and always ended up with a slight dent so am not fooling myself. But this case will definitely give me a better grip when carrying my MBP around and protect from scratches and possibly spills (not tested it’s water repellant abilities yet).

This is a really simple hand-held case for a laptop. There are no pockets on the inside or outside so there’s no room for anything other than your laptop. You could possibly squeeze a few sheets of paper in as well in the single compartment by the side of your computer. That said, it’s not bad quality, the zip is quite good, and it’s a budget price. If you are looking for a really basic no-frills case this will do the job.

A nicely padded case.Easy to use as the zip runs down one long and one short edge so you have plenty of room to aim for.The material feels of reasonable quality and the padding feels adequately thick. There is no space for any extras, so I will only be using it to transport my macbook when fully charged and only when I plan to use it on battery as you can't take a power adapter with you in the case.

This is a smart, budget case that does the job very nicely. It fits snugly, as you'd expect, but as such there's no pocket for an adapter. It is padded, but I still wouldn't want to drop my laptop with it inside. What I like is the price. Quite often companies would charge double for something like this, but this is a fair price for a useful case.
