We bought the original Buzz before Christmas and as a party game it can't be beaten (well OK, maybe Singstar can have the edge at times...). I quickly went out and got this version hoping for more of the same and to be honest was not disappointed. I bought it with a set of buzzers too because one of the best new features is that you can play with up to 8 people (if you have 2 sets of buzzers).So what's it like? Well I thought it was pretty good. The format has been polished a little so that it doesn't continually cut back to the contestants, thus speeding the flow of the game up. The 8 player game is OK, but you can't play a full quiz,only selected rounds which is a shame (unless I missed that option!).The rounds themselves are much more picture and video based which is where the first problem is: some of the pictures are pretty tough to recognise especially those of 'places'. Some of the pictures of celebs seem to have been taken on Oscar night or something, so they often look quite different to what you'd expect.There are a couple of new rounds in there - ask a friend which requires you to nominate someone to answer the question and then you share the points (plus or minus depending on their answer!). There's also a round where you get two lives each and then when you get a question right, you get to 'shoot' a life from one of the other players.Based more around general knowledge, the level of the questions is good and the balance seemed good too in fact, the whole game seemed well balanced to me.In the end though I'm only giving this a 4. Why? Well when put to the test on Saturday night, we played two rounds and then loaded up the music quiz and stuck with that for longer despite the fact that one person always had to sit out. People in the group found that the hard to recognise pictures were frustrating and this ultimately spoiled the whole experience.In summary though, it's well worth a purchase for 'more of the same but different', and you won't be consigning the old one to the bin if you own it either!

When i first heard there was a new buzz coming out i thought 'it will be exaly the same as the first' but when i brought it i was totally wrong, i plugged in the buzzers and i saw a new studio, plus better 3D graphics. I looked at the characters and there was many more characters my faouvirte ones are the cheerleader and the spacemen! They add a whole new light on the game. After that i decided i better start the quiz, it was loads diffrent from the music quiz on this quiz there isnt just music, theres pictures, movie clips and much more! Also another GREAT new feature is that the question is read out which makes it seem more like a tv studio enviorment! I love all the new rounds too,specially hitman where you can win 1000 points (anyone who has the buzz music quiz knows this is quite alot) for being the winner of that round! It also includes some old favourites like pass the bomb, point builder, snap, etc..! I rate this 10/10 its a must-have, click on that buy button and buy it asap you wont be dissapointed!!! :D

Having loved the original music quiz, we couldn't wait to get our hands on this one and see how it played. Whilst it is generally good - some cool characters, less interuption to the flow of the game by not breaking out to the points all the time, new rounds are generally fun, great final round - I do find some niggling points.Some pictures are too small. This is particularly the case for the 'Pass the bomb' round. Some of us found it very difficult to distinguish what the picture was of.Pass the bomb round also seemed to have some extra delay before the questions are displayed/read out, making it even more frustrating when the bomb goes off on you!I guess a nice way to cure this would be to give the option of text for this particular round.In general though,these are minor frustrations. The game still plays very well and the buzzers are great. Loses one star for the dodgy 'Pass the bomb' round.

After buying this for my boyfriends birthday, and having already experienced the music quiz at a very drunk New Years Party, I knew I would not be dissappointed with this game.Alongside the music quiz, the game is very good. The graphics are the same, and so is the style of questioning. Great fun for everone - as long as you are over a certain age.The only problems I can find with this are the rounds - they are the same every time you play, whereas the music quiz varied the rounds and how long the actual game lasted.The questions - more aimed towards adults this time as there is no way to set difficulty in questions for each player,which would have made the game much better.Music Questions - Buzz plays music on his keyboard - you can only recognise a couple of these songs and the rest are unknown.Having played this game with varying ages 10 - 40 +, the people who enjoyed it the most were 16+.

Thankfully the producers haven't tinkered too much with the existing format of Buzz. This time around the questions are mainly visual and are general knowledge. The questions aren't purely UK (or US) Soap-centric like I was fearing, there is a wide range and they are all pretty much challenging. Two minor gripes which left me pondering whether to knock a star off - the occasional music questions I find way tougher than in the first Buzz, the renditions bear no resemblence to the orginals at all, and also, after playing 7 games of it, we have noticed a couple of repeated questions, something that i haven't noticed in months of regular Music Quiz buzzing. Nonetheless, well worth the money and a great party game.Oh yeah, don't get too excited by the claims that you have have up to 8 people playing - this is for the unimpressive bonus games and not the main thing.

On Buzz you firstly,pick a character to be and then get on with the game. There are many different questions to answer and lots of different subjects and rounds to play. One where you can steel points off whoever is winning. You use the coloured buttons on your controller for the first round, and also on others. You use your big red button at the top(they say your buzzers)for some rounds aswell. There are other Buzz games aswell,these just as good. It can take up to 4 players,at the most,each time.BYE BUZZ!IT'S BRILL!

We played the original music quiz with family over christmas, we had great fun choosing characters, pushing those buttons and answering questions. It covered several era's meaning that there were questions for young and old and we all enjoyed the ps2 as a family for a change! We too went out after christmas and got our own copy and have been anxiously awaiting the new one coming out! Also looking forward to the movie version coming out later in the year! Keep those Buzz games coming!!

I hate computer games! My partner spends hours on them and they drive me nuts.We went to a friend's just before Christmas and played Buzz. I reluctantly had a go and was immediately hooked! What great fun. We went out the very next day and bought it and played it almost continuously over the Christmas holidays. Can't wait for the next Buzz game...

This was a great christmas present for my daughter and really got the family all together having fun. I cant wait for the next one 'The Big Quiz solus', kids watch out i will have my revenge!

One of the best BUZZ GAMES for the PS2!The questions tend to repeat themselves after you've played it 5-6 times,but I've got a goldfish memory anyway so it doesn't really matter to me!

this game is great i recomend it for all ages you can play from new music to old music and to all music!!!!!!!! this is the best game i have ever played on

Educational, entertaining and very easy to use (even for grandma who may not be so good with electronics). A fantastic game for families or friends.
