I managed to buy my son a very cheap train set and while the track was excellent its one failing was the bridge supports which were simply blocks of wood so the bridges fell over an alarming (and frustrating) number of times a day.I bought 2 sets of supports, which cost more than the train set. But they do the job well. Shouts of mummy, it's fallen over have dropped to a reasonable level, along with my blood pressure.

Start with the downside - it is a bit pricey for two props to support a bridge but it does do a very good job unlike the basic ones which tend to move especially if one uses it a lot like my sons do. So apart from the price, I'd say it is a superior type of support for those elevated rails tracks which my little ones love to build.

We seem to have accumulated several upward/downward tracks. These supports are a great way to use them, and also to support raised tracks between bridges. They also stack one on top of another to create a super hill. We bought four but will definitely buy more.

Like all Brio I think the quality is excellent and well made. My main criticism is how expensive it is for what you get! Could do with more of these but have bought cheaper options that are available. However it is quality stuff.

Top quality. Overcome the main issue with bridges for kids, which is that they are extremely prone to falling over. Not cheap but good value taking into account their stability and performance.

My son loves anything train related and building high tracks over other tracks and these work great

Much sturdier than supports that come with standard track. And stackable for double height bridges
