My 5 year old adores Brio and really wanted this 'glow-in-the-dark' train and tunnel. He was so excited when it arrived, but disappointed that it didn't seem to actually glow in the dark. It didn't stop him from playing with it, but his much happier now that we've dug out our black light. Now it really does glow in the dark, as you can see from the photo!Maybe it would have glowed without the black light if we'd had any proper sunlight to charge it up in during the day. I guess we'll find out in the summer!4 stars because of how much my son has played with it, but not 5 because you shouldn't have to have (or buy!) a blacklight to get the main feature of a toy to work!

My 3 year old is mad about Brio trains and in particular the Metro series. These are great. Sturdy enough to be thrown around yet still look great. He is happy and so am I.
