OK first thing, the 3d is a bit of a gimmick - but that is universally true, no?I bought this on impulse having always loved Repton on the BBC (never played the c64 boulderdash).I've found it very enjoyable, very quickly finding myself on level 50 of 100 in arcade mode.For repton fans it slightly differs in that you can try an outrun falling rocks. This changes the dynamics of some of the puzzles.Most levels can be finished on the first attempt (unlike repton) and you don't need to collect all the diamonds, just a target number.There is also a puzzle mode that is more repton puzzle like, though with apparently small maps (8x8)

I really love Boulder Dash XL it's really great and it's my favourite and so is Boulder Dash Rocks they both came on time they are as the sellers described them I am giving them 10 out of 10 the seller gave prompt and courteous service and the seller was very prompt and courteous I am very pleased with the seller and I will buy from the seller again I recommend the seller to other people and to other people to buy from the seller. I don't know what the previous review was about. This game warms my heart. It has a retro mode that brings you back to the Commodore 64 days. It is challenging, however i found it extremely fun. If your looking for some old school fun, or want something different, this game is for you. The only thing is I had a little trouble finding it. I definitely am happy I own it.

Plugged in for months with no issues to connect my Xbox to the router and the internet. Dlna server works fine. Need to turn on and of only once so far.
