I have had a fantastic experience with Bosch Smart Home products. When I moved I decided to leave Hive and buy a Bosch Easy Control CT 200 with some Bosch Smart Radiator Valves.When we first bought it there was no mention on the need for a Smart Adapter, which had to be bought elsewhere. So not the best start.We had an issue where it kept turning on the boiler at 4am, after much trial an error I realised the problem. Before attaching the radiator valves to the EasyControl I had connected them to my Bosch Smart home controller and set a different temperature level for one which started at 4am.Despite being deleted from the bosch smart controller system and factory reset they 'retained'the plan and didn't pick up the rules from the easy control. I reattached them to my bosch smart home controller created the current easy control plan and then removed them and reattached to the easy control. Things worked.That said Alexa control didn't work until an update in March. 3 days after the update our EasyControl lost the ability to detect wifi networks.I setup various wireless access points and discovered it was unable to detect 802.11 b/g/n/ac networks being broadcast within 3 meters of it. It worked as a 'dumb' thermostat we just had no ability to control it via the application.I toom the time to write out step by step instructions on what I did and tried and contacted Easy Control technical help. Who immediately showed they hadn't read any of it and asked me to perform the first thing I detailed, 4 or 5 emails like this they asked to call.My partner was called by them and spent 2 hours on the phone repeating it all again. They the said they couldn't send someone around due to lock down.With lock down easing I called today they had none of the previous details and tried to make me do it all again. Then refused to help unless i could provide my worcester bosch serial number. After much effort they are sending a replacement unit in the post.I love my bosch smart control stuff, I would not touch anything smart from Worcester-Bosch
