My two year old was delighted with this on Christmas Day. The train is easy to push and will free wheel quite a long way with a push. It has proved more fun than watching her battery powered train chug slowly round, struggling up and over her bridge. This train has provided an great extension to her existing collection of carriages and the strong magnetic coupling means she can assemble quite a long train now that stays together well, racing down the inclines and putting a big smile on her face.The different bold colours provide an opportunity to teach colours and even just the magnets sticking together or pushing apart provides endless fascination!

Very nice train with three loads. I bought also the little tower crane with the van but unfortunately you cannot put the load of the train on the van because it is a little too long. Attention: it is not fully compatible with Brio. The magnetic crane of Brio can handle the loads of Bigjigs but the crane of Bigjigs can not handle the loads of Brio.

I love bigjigs trains - they’re very sturdy and brightly coloured and work brilliantly on wooden track and are interchangeable with other wooden track and trains too. I bought this for my friend’s little boy’s birthday as my son adores his trains and her little one has developed a train obsession too. He loves it.

Purchased for my friend's boy who was turning 2. It was an instant hit and all the little ones around wanted to play with it. Seems like a good quality wood and nice pictures on it. He has the Bigjigs train table and so was collecting track and trains for it. Looks great all together!

My grandson will love this new addition to his wooden train set because he loves everything relating to fruit and veg and it is a bonus that the magnets can be used to lift the blocks onto a road truck for delivery.

A bright, robust and well-made engine and carriages. My 2 and 4 year olds love it.FWI although the track (and bumper) come with the track and are of similar quality - they are not compatable with Ikea track.

I bought the fruit and veg train to add to the figure of eight train set. It's very well made, sturdy and colourful and I think will bring a lot of enjoyment to our grandchildren for a long time to come.

Lovely item as with all bigjig trains. The only thing I will say is that there are different shades of wood on the track pieces and does not match other track items
