I got this for my 5 year old who is a huge Barbie fan.My complaints about this Barbie are the usual for most Barbies: Standards appear to have gone down (the seam on her arms is hard to miss as is the trademark and made in China on her back, and fabric is cheap). This one, like all Barbies is packaged to protect from theft but uses plastic threads which is manageable for opening with scissors. They insist on the plastic taggers in Barbie's head to attach her to the packaging. I HATE THOSE and no matter how carefully I open her I end up with either a piece of plastic sticking out from her head or a chunk of hair missing. And in this particular Barbie I had the thrill of having SIX plastic tags stuck in her head,including one they used to attach her crown. SMH.Outside of this, it is a great little set at a fair price for a Barbie. Barbie herself has all socket shoulders allowing her arms to move in any direction. Her legs are simple hinge joints so only move forwards and backwards. Her head is also on a ball joint which allows for positioning. Her expression is the sweet Barbie look we all know and love. Her clothing consists of a plastic feeling skirt with an elastic waist so kids can put it on or off themselves, a blue crown (tagged to her head for security) and cute blue high heels that actually stay on her feet without super glue. The bodice of her dress is part of her body.The chariot/carriage is thin plastic but not so thin that you're worried it won't hold up. It rolls smoothly. The butterfly on the back can be put down so she can ride (carriage) or can be slid up so she stands (chariot). There is a clip to go around her waist and hold her in place. My favorite part of this is the reins which are soft (silicone?) plastic which allows for give and they stay in place when you attach them to the Pegasus and cart. My least favorite part are the huge silver screws that can clearly be seen from the back of the carriage regardless of the butterfly positioning.The Pegasus is unlike the Barbie horses of the past. It has an almost cartoonish look to it even when you ignore the color of it, which makes it adorably cute. I actually prefer the plastic mane and tail for both looks and longevity. There is nothing on the horse that moves although the wings can be positioned either up or slightly less up for effect.This set has gotten a lot of play from my daughter and it has held up well. It does have a bit of a "I can't decide what I want to be so I'm going to be a chariot carriage butterfly fairy Pegasus princess" but my daughter doesn't seem to mind this scattershot theme.

My 7 year old absolutely loves her Barbie dolls. She's usually pretty good about sharing. Her Barbies, however, are sacred and they are the one thing she won't share. Oddly enough, she's picky. Her grandmother had bought her one of those beach Barbie dolls with no accessories and my daughter didn't want it. On the other hand she was esctatic to get one of the Christmas edution dolls. It can be hard to tell which ones she'll love and which ones she won't, but this one she absolutely adores.She loves the fact that it comes wtih a horse and chariot (she also loves horses so we should have known this doll would be a hit). She did say she wished the horse looked more "real" but it's cute in its own way.The chariot is a nice addition and makes a fun accessory. The Barbie is what you'd expect from the brand. The chariot and horse could be a bit better but they don't make these like they used to.This was quick to become one of my duaghter's favorites in terms of her Barbie collection. It holds a special place on the shelf in her playroom that she can always reach without help if she wants to play with it and she has spent a lot of time playing with it already and doesn't seem to be boring. Overall, while the carriage and the hourse aren't the best quality in the world I think this would make a really cute gift for little Barbie lovers. Not so much for actual collectors, but great for little collectors like my daughter.

Barbie GJK53 Dreamtopia Princess, Pegasus & Chariot.One of my granddaughters is nearly 3 years old, so when she came to stay over for the night I brought this out for her too play with.... Her face lit up when I came into the room with this, she was very excited and soon got it out the packaging with help from grandad.She thought pegasus was great, I could tell that she like that best but by how long she played with it which was for a couple of hours, grandad was playing too!... They made up a little story that I had to watch but was fun as she giggled away as she performed.Was lovely to see she was having so much fun,just wish I'd got pictures and videos to post on this review.Barbie is wearing a pretty rainbow dress with a tiara and high heeled shoes.She can sit easily and be strapped into the chariot.Lots of bright colours that young girls from the age of 3 and up will love. my granddaughter loves it and wanted to take it home but I told her it stays here and when she visits she can play with it as long as she wants.This would make a fantastic gift as it's very well presented.I used to play with barbies when I was a kid, I would play for hours and had quite a collection going on.I can recommend this barbie chariot set.

My 7 year old daughter loves Barbie and is having so much fun with this toy. We both love the fun design of this toy which allows multiple ways to play with it. She has no problem at all changing it from the carriage ride to the chariot mode or as she calls it a chariot racer or a princess. It’s also no problem for her to click the Barbie in to the vehicle in either mode which makes us both happy because she’s not frustrated and needing help. The included Barbie is a step up in quality from the cheapest version that is usually included in these types of sets but still not the higher quality kind that can be found sold separately. My daughter loves the doll and thinks she is really pretty and of course she loves her fun bright outfit.She also really loves her blue shoes. The horse is cute but with her plastic mane she is really only meant to connect to the vehicle. My daughter loves how the butterfly raises from the back for chariot mode. I’ve been really impressed with how much she is playing with this and how well it’s been holding her attention. I really think that’s because of how much fun she finds changing the modes of play with the vehicle.

This is part of a collection called ‘Dreamtopia’, the theme encompasses fairy tales and fantasy with mermaids, fairies, unicorns and abundant princesses.It’s a lovely theme and all the dolls and animals in the range are beautifully decorated in rainbow colours with pretty dresses and fun accessories.The box is large and impressive, you’re definitely going to be popular if you give this as gift.Loads of empty packaging and plastic ties later you finally get to see Barbie and her winged horse with its chariot.Barbie is beautifully dressed in a rainbow skirt with a solid plastic bodice, with the obligatory tiara and high heels.The chariot is a great size and has a clip that goes around Barbies waist to hold her in place.I’m impressed by the design,what child doesn’t like a cute winged horse and fairytale princess.It offers excellent value for money and is a substantial gift that offers loads of scope for imaginative play.Hope you found my review helpful

Barbie is delivered in a large cardboard box stuffed with paper. The doll is well fastened into a nice presentation cardboard display package with clear plastic cover Barbie is full size but Pagasus is smaller than Barbies horse. It has solid pink plastic mane and tail and bright yellow wings. The chariot is large enough for Barbie to sit in or stand up in. there is a plastic strap to hold her in place whilst the child is pushing it around. It has bright yellow wheels in the shape of a flower. The wheels go round when you push the chariot. Barbie has a removable skirt but her bodice and pants are part of the body and legs of the doll so not re moveable. Barbies legs and arms rotate at the joints but don't bend.Pegasus doesn't have any moveable joints.My granddaughters love Barbie in all her persona's and this one is no exception. The dolls are becoming more reasonably priced which is very helpful.

This is a very impressive playset for any Barbie Dreamtopia fan ... consisting of a beautiful Dreamtopia princess complete with a pretty outfit that includes a tiara, a stunning Pegasus horse (with wings) and pink chariot. As you would expect from the Barbie brand everything in the playset is well made and decorated nicely.My four year old granddaughter is a massive Barbie fan and the Dreamtopia range is one of her favourites ... she was delighted when she received this to play with and couldn't wait for me to remove it from its packaging. She spent a very pleasant afternoon playing with this set her imagination knowing no bounds even to the point of dragging out everything Dreamtopia or Barbierelated that she could find from her bedroom.All in all an excellent play set with quality pieces, a little on the pricey side which is to be expected for a branded item.

This must be one of the nicest Barbie sets I’ve ever seen. The words ‘Barbie’ and ‘Princess’ should be attractive to any girl (or boy, I’m not being sexist).I’ve been caught out a few times with this kind of toy. The photos make it look big but when it arrives it’s a scaled down to a much smaller size. This is not the case here. The Barbie doll is full size and it all arrives in a big colourful retail box.The horse reminds me of My Little Pony which I am sure it’s modelled on. The chariot is colourful and big enough for Barbie to stand in. Barbie herself, is dressed in a pretty princess outfit complete with a tiara and high-heel shoes.The quality is superb both in the packaging and its contents.Once you see it, you will understand that the asking price of just under £35 is more than fair.Overall, a nice quality Barbie set.

This is a wonderful Barbie set. My daughters really love Barbie. They can just play with her for hours. They love this because of all the accessories it comes with. It is nice because they can play with it for a long time.They have a nice collection now and play with them altogether. It’s nice that this comes with extra stuff because it gives them a direction with which to play.I am always happy with the quality of the Barbie dolls. They really last nicely. The accessories are okay. If they are careful they will last but they can’t be too rough.I think these make great gifts, too. I like that they are playing with dolls instead of staring at screens. These are durable and last a long time.I would recommend them.

This is an excellent Barbie Princess and Chariot. I actually didn’t expect it to be as big as it was.When I was a wee girl I had a doll with a chariot. Even though it wasn’t as colourful as this one I absolutely loved it and played with it for years. I do believe with the reaction from my granddaughter that she will be playing with this for a long time. Both the Barbie and the chariot is bright and colourful.There’s two ways for Barbie to ride the chariot and my granddaughter loves changing it around. In all honesty this would make a fantastic gift for any young girl

This set made the girls squeal when it arrived. It is a complete set that is everything you see in the picture. It's been a few months and it has held up great to the kids play and nothing has broken or fallen apart. Her hair ratted but we fixed that with some fabric softener/water spray and she looked beautiful again. I was so impressed when I received this Barbie set! I suppose I didn't think how big it would be- but it has to hold a full sized Barbie doll, right? The Barbie can sit in the carriage facing forward or the carriage can be turned into a chariot and she can stand in it. So, so fun! We were very pleased. The colors are beautiful, too. And, it is very durable. We haven't had any issues with it even with our rough playing. My 5 year old loves it so much! I will be purchasing these for gifts. It is a show stopper.

My daughter loves Dreamtopia Barbies. She loves this set as well because of the Barbies “pretty” dress which is different from the others she has. She also likes the little Pegasus that can pull Barbie in the carriage/chariot, whichever way you face it. I think the Pegasus would be nicer if it had some softer parts like a fur mane or tail. As it is, it is pretty hard plastic. It and the carriage, though, are very cute and colorful. The Barbie is also really attractive. Overall, a cute set.

I honestly would have loved this doll when I was a little girl! The horse and carriage are perfect for the Barbie dream dolls but they can also work with my daughters other barbies. We already have the Barbie dreamtopia doll and it’s almost identical to the one one in this set. My daughter will be delighted to receive this as she loves watching the dreamtopia movies on Netflix. I would only get this one if your child doesn’t have a dreamtopia Barbie.

This is a great gift for any fairy and/or princess fan. The chariot and horse take this princess to another level. The butterfly moves up and down.The clothes are easy to change They also work with other Barbies.My daughter loves it. Her favorite part is that the fairy princess can stand up or sit down in the chariot.It’s a different kind of Barbie that has the quality of traditional Barbies with that extra special whimsy.
