This is a lovely family sized casserole dish from Swan which is part of a range of kitchenware from Swan that comes in different colourways. The one I received for reviewing is in the colour 'Lily' which is a beautiful deep lilac colour on the outside and a cream colour on the inside of the dish.The size of this casserold dish is 31cm in width (including handles) x 25.5cm in diameter (without handles) x 14.2cm in height (including lid) and has around 4.5 litres in capacity. It has two strong handles to eighter side of the dish as well as a lid with a molded handle on the top. This casserole dish is a good solid piece,

My Daughter typically likes most things that would be considered 'girly' and she squealed the house down when this arrived as not only is it a Mermaid (like most girls her age she is Unicorn and Mermaid mad at the moment) but she has pink and purple hair which my Daughter thinks is the best thing ever and now wants to have her hair coloured to match.The new Mermaid (called Marsha after a Lego Mermaid she has) has been everywhere with her and the very first place the she obviously needed to go was the bath, Marsha's head can be turned, her arms can be moved at the shoulder and she can be put into a sitting position if wished.She has a painted on top and her tail is made up of two parts until you click the base part into place.

My eldest daughter really loves mermaids and previously our mermaid dollies have had removable tails or been 'artistic' and so haven't been suitable for water conditions, this has been thoughtfully designed for the young child for whom it makes complete sense to put dollies in the bath.She has spray on clothes and a fully molded tail and fin replacing her legs so there's no wiggling on and off of clothes or a fin, she just swims all the time. This is great as we don't have any pieces lost!The dolly herself is gorgeous, she has a really pretty face and her cerise hair hints gently at another franchise but has enough rainbow and glittery uniqueness too.

My daughter had a previous Barbie Mermaid and played with it over and over and over again. The mermaid has been swimming everywhere from swimming pools on holiday to the bath. It actually lives by the bath. It got scratched on concrete at pools (watch out for that – there were lots of tears when the tip of Barbie’s nose got scratched and the paint came off) so this is to replace it. My point is that there seems to be a lot of longevity in these dolls – a lot. Children love to play with them.Regarding this doll, you get what you pay for - rival, cheaper dolls invariably show that they are cheap – my daughter notices too. The plastic and paintwork looks good quality.

This is one of a series of Mermaid Dreamtopia dolls, which all come with different hair colours, skin tones and detailing. Her outfit is moulded on and the only thing that can be removed is the hair piece. She can move her head, arms and she can sit down, as well as moving the bottom of her tail. However, this doll is for pretend play only - there is no battery operated motion, so she can swim in the bath/pool, or anything. Not that it is necessarily a bad thing - most battery operated mermaid dolls end up as a disappointment, so imaginative play is just as good.I love this dolls long, dark pink hair, which can be styled. She has a pretty face and my niece is very taken with her.

Barbie Mermaid is really lovely and will not disappoint any Barbie fan. Please note that this is a very simplistic doll and part of a budget range I think. Her 'bra' is part of her body and cannot be removed. She doesn't have any legs. Her tail is also part of her body and cannot be removed. There is an extra tail swish that can be assembled to her tail too. She isn't free standing but can bend in the middle for sitting. Also her arms are fixed and don't move at the elbow but you can move them at the shoulder and move her head. Her hair is a beautiful pink colour and the bit that my daughter loved the most. She has a removable plastic crown.

This colourful, full size, Barbie has a large rainbow tail, ending in a separate blue push on fin. She moves from the hips, sits down comfortably, her arms move, and her head is poseable. Her shell bikini top is very pretty and demure. I like her long, brushable, pink and purple hair, decorated with a little starry Alice band. She has a friendly, beautiful face. I think this will be along lasting doll that is easy to hold.The thing to know is that she is over secured by many elastic bands and those thin plastic ties. I think that if this is to be a gift to a small girl then it would be advisable to de-box her before wrapping.

This is a very attractive doll. Unlike the normal Barbie dolls, this and others in the 'fantasy' range are more figurines as they are non-dresnable dolls. In other words, what you see is what you get. In this case, what you get is a wonderful looking mermaid which can be played with in the bath (note she cannot swim on her own). The colouring of the drill is superb but she only moves at the shoulders and waist. The tail is non-flexible which is a shame as our little lady would have liked to pose her 'sitting on the rocks'. So for that, I've dropped a star

This is a lovely fun addition to the Barbie line. She has a gorgeous deep pink hair and a lovely rainbow shaded tail/ bikini. This Barbie doesn't have any clothes that are removable.The tail is jointed at the waist so that you can easily sit her or move her tail to pretend she's swimming. I wish her tail was jointed right at the end too for a little extra posability but this didn't impede the children's play and they really really enjoyed having a mermaid.This Barbie is very well made and an excellent addition to the collection.

Barbie is an all time favourite with children everywhere and this is a nice addition to the range. My wife’s niece has many Barbies (it seems like the complete range) and this is a great addition at an excellent price. Bath time will never be the same again. She is well made, the colours are excellent and my little tester loves her hair (and the removable hairpiece). The doll is jointed at the waist so she can be made to swish her tail and I’m sure there will be many happy little faces with one of these to play with.

Very simple, colourful doll with Ariel-eqsue red hair, suitable for play in the bath. Posable arms and tail (with a hinge at the waist) offers a bit of functionality, but otherwise it's a fairly limited and unsurprising toy.At 13.5" with the tail-fin attached it's a relatively sizeable figure and a lot bigger than the usual bits and pieces (rubber ducks, foam jigsaw pieces) that usually find their way into the bath. However, both of my daughters immediately liked this one, and it's become a bath-time fixture.

My 3.5 year old son is doll/barbie/pink mad and he loved this at Christmas. She plays well in the bath but make sure you bend her in half and tip her upside down as water gets lodged in the bottom half of the doll. Her headband can get stuck in wet hair so just take care when taking it out whilst in the bath as you'll most likely end up with a frustrated child (or is that just me?). Our Barbie currently lives in the bathroom amongst all the jungle animals for the bath and she seems quite happy. Been a big hit!

Ironically we received two mermaid Barbies to review at the same time, and this much cheaper mermaid set is by far my daughter’s favourite of the two.It’s cheap and cheerful, with vibrant colours and a durable design that feels well suited to play with in the bath, whether or not it’s intended for water play. Not coming with a load of unnecessary accessories also lends itself to play in the bath, and the lower price means you won’t mind if it doesn’t last forever.A good buy for mermaid fans!

Bath toy, this is delightful, flowing locks, colourful, everything you would expect from Barbie but to go in the bath. This one doesn't light up that I can see, but I could be missing some important piece that hasn't yet made itself clear to me.The hair does come out a little with every bath, this should be noted as it does clog up your plug. However, what bath is complete without a mermaid in it!
