This is an excellent twist on the standard Barbie doll. My daughter loves ‘Little Mermaid’, so straight away I was sure this would be a hit. The fact that it was a mermaid would have been enough to please my daughter, but the icing on the cake was the crayons which she has loved using to decorate and personalise her new doll.You can use the three supplied crayola washable pens to add your own designs and patterns on the dolls fin, tail and top (i.e. the white areas). Want to start again? No problem, just use the ‘magic wipe’ and you are good to go.Whilst the dolls outfit is fixed, unlike regular Barbies with their changeable clothes, the crayon design aspect more than makes up for this.

Not sure if it is me but Barbie dolls seems now a lot larger than the same dolls we had as children. Nonetheless, it's a very colourful model compared to others and definitely a lot more fun. Rather than the standard play this one actually allows you to draw on her tail with the provided crayons, there are three colours (purple, pink and blue) and the 'magic cloth' removes any marks made so you can have endless fun. Play wise it is great especially for bath-time given the sea theme, it loses a star for the value, personally looking at the current listing I would not pay full-price for the item, times have probably changed but with more competitive models I think the brand should look to create

Barbie and mermaids are pretty much a winning combination and this one is very popular with my little niece. Barbie comes with three crayons and a wipe clean cloth, so you can decorate Barbie’s tail and then start again. These look like fairly standard bath crayons, so I imagine that you can buy new ones, if you use these up – or want different colours.Barbie’s outfit is fixed, so you can’t remove anything – including the necklace. She bends at the waist, so she can sit, but her arms are fixed. However, the novelty value of decorating her tail will certainly appeal and my niece has had great fun with this. The crayon removes easily and doesn’t stain the tail,

Every little girl Ever loves a Barbie Doll , put Barbie and Mermaids together and we have fantasy play at its best . When I saw this Barbie Dreamtopia Magic MERMAID I Knew that one or more of my grandkids would love it .This Barbie Doll has a Mermaid Tail she is articulated at the hip , She comes with 3 colour Crayola Pens and a Magic Rainbow cloth to wipe away and redesign her tail and fins . Barbie has been about for many years now and I can't see her going out of fashion any time soon . This doll is a great way to encourage imagination and story telling .Barbie Dreamtopia Magic Mermaid is competitively priced , Not suitable for Children under 3 years old though .

This is a delightful Barbie mermaid - ideal for a gift, birthday or Christmas present. It's sturdy, a good size and your child can interact with it. The ability to change the mermaid's tail means that it is always (in our house anyway) having a make-over. The colours seem to wipe off easily and so far haven't gone far from the doll. I'm not sure what happens if we lose them and I haven't been brave enough yet to try another crayon and see if it wipes off but it's a crayola so I would have thought different colours are possible.It makes for fun role play and is keeping our child occupied as she talks through all the options Barbie can have for today. Delightful!

Another excellent Barbie toy. Mermaids, like Unicorns, it seems, are popular (apparently there are classes where adults can swim like a mermaid via a slip-on tail!) again, and naturally, Barbie is right on trend. The USP here though, is that, thanks to a set of erasable crayons, a child can personailse Barbie's Mermaid tail with a variety of pastel colours, thereby increasing the level of interactivity.Barbie has a pastel lilac highlight in her blonde tresses, and its' a very appealing toy, and yet another fine addition to the Barbie range - one that I can see being very popular as a birthday or Christmas gift.

A pretty mermaid Barbie which my Daughter loves already however I'm not sure I like the idea of encouraging my child to draw on her toys although obviously these are wipe off.Barbie has fixed clothing on that cannot be removed and can bend at the waist. She arrives with her lover tail fin separate so this needs to be clicked into place and also comes with three coloured crayons in purple, pink and blue.The included rainbow cloth wipes away the crayon designs on her tail and top.A nice mermaid toy and even better at the current less than eighteen pounds price

Barbie Dreamtopia has Crayola crayons that are colour Magic, kids can colour in doll, body, tail and fins, can colour in with the crayons and wipes away with the magic cloth that has a rainbow coloured theme with stars, Three different colours which has endless possibilities for kids to choose theirs pink, blue and purple. The cloth can wipe a design away and start to draw a pattern, design or just colour it all in, kids uses for endless hours with a bit of water to start again and again highly recommended

This is great. The addition of the three special crayons to decorate her tail, fin and top however you wish works well. The rainbow coloured cloth simply removes the crayon to start again. One star lost for being all stereotypical "girl" colours yet again though. That said, the immediate out the box (no batteries needed of course) creative fun is much better than the usual just dressing her up. The mythical creatures link throws a fun variation in their imaginary play possibilities too. Nice.

My daughter has a few different barbie sets and this added to them perfectly. She has recently got the barbie plane and house so she now has this set up with the barbie mermaid doll and she loves it.The great thing about this doll is you can colour in the tail with the included crayola washable pens, shes had great fun doing this and spend a lot of time just coloring her in.Its a perfect addition to her ever growing barbie collection and I think they will soon take over the house!

It's a mermaid Barbie that your little princess can colour the tail in with the enclosed crayons!My Great Nieces really enjoyed this doll and it seems to have vanished ATM Oddly that disappearance coincided with their last visit and I havent seen it since....Consequently, this brings my review to an abrupt end! Except to say that it is obviously a favourite doll for little girls!

Lovely idea for a gift. It includes a change of tail and 3 crayons.Crayons are for the children to draw on the body of the Barbie although they are a bit weak. A wipe is also included to wipe the colour offThe same I said for the other Barbie I have reviewed they are not the same material it was years ago but made completely in plastic

An interactive mermaid Barbie doll. Do I need to say more??! This is a beautiful doll that comes with Crayola washable colour wands so little people can exercise their creativity. The Barbie mermaid looks beautiful and will be a lovely addition to any Barbie collection. I think this could well become the favourite in my house!

My daughter wanted this doll so badly, she did extra jobs to earn the money. She was thrilled when the doll finally arrived and played with it for a day or two but soon lost interest. I think a less expensive mermaid Barbie would have been a better choice.

The doll itself is great quality and came packaged nicely as well! The pens/crayons that come with the doll wash off easily and also don’t stain (thank god) would make a great present, especially with Christmas around the corner!
