Although there are a few steps to get up, running and stamping, nothing is too intimidating and it's all part of the fun. The little tools that are included are just what's needed and all work well, with only a little patience needed. I'd ideally have liked to see something to store everything in, as there's quite a few small items that could easily become separated and lost. The risk with a toy like this is that there might not be enough scope for your child to do much beyond a basic couple of designs, but happily there's a decent variety of stamper shapes, meaning lots of fun ideas and combinations to try out. The Barbie figure is a nice one, with the customary bright smile and plenty of hair to style in different ways as well. The ink transfers fairly well and it's not too difficult to get a good print. Technique is still pretty important though and there is the potential for frustration if the clothes slip or the prints smudge, as can sometimes happen. In terms of criticisms, I would say that while there are two outfits included in the box, there are ONLY two outfits, and once they've been adapted (if that's the right word), you then need to wash the ink off and dry them before your child can have another go. Also, there's not a great deal of ink in the two pads, and after they are used up there's nothing more to go at.In fact, in a general sense it could benefit from more thought about providing value for money, as it takes the edge off what is, at heart, a clever idea for a Barbie toy you can make your own in a multitude of ways.

This is one of five Barbies that my daughters (age 8 and 12) played with in the attached video (which is also on YouTube). This toy comes with a traditional Barbie with 2 sets of clothes, a flat mannequin, some stencils, a stamper and some ink. There are only two colours for the ink so not a lot of variety and I don't know if other ink is easily available. But at least the ink that does come with the set should last a while. The stencil set includes 10 images: a star pattern, a Barbie head, a rainbow, a diamond, a teddy bear head, an eye, heart glasses, a lightning bolt, a crayola crayon and a zigzag pattern. My daughter tried the stencils and ink in the attached video. They worked and the ink also washed out after very easily. She liked that there were two pairs of clothes, a doll and some stencils. She enjoyed her time being a Barbie fashion designer. What would have made this set better for her would have been to have more colours, and for the doll to be one that looked more like her. Of the five Barbies in the video the one she preferred was the one that looked most like her. So it is great these days that Barbie are making more dolls that are of different types - petite, curvy, tall, black, white etc - so that the dolls are more relatable to different children as not everyone will necessarily relate so well with the traditional slim, white and blonde Barbie. But overall it is a good toy.

Barbie meets Crayola. This is a Barbie with her own fashion studio. She has a wardrobe consisting of ; dress, bolero jacket, mullet style skirt and fitted top....these will fit other Barbie dolls, and she can also borrow their clothes too.She has lovely long, blonde hair for styling with any accessories you have ( none come with her) some funky wedge trainers and a small yellow bangle to complete her look. The main activity is the stamping.. which is easy and fun, the designs/stamps are provided, the instructions are easy to follow and you get good results on her clothes. These are washable inks so you can give them a quick scrub and when dry you can start all over again. What you do need to watch out for is stamping human clothes- its just too tempting you see!The stamps have come out with a quick wash by hand in the sink and rinse with water, they dry pretty quickly too.If you are struggling to get the ink out of a favourite shirt try rubbing it with some imperial leather soap- the bar, it works miracles, trust me.I would still recommend old clothes when playing with this though. This has good play value, even on her own Barbie is always popular and here you get the added bonus of styling and stamping her clothes, your clothes, mums clothes, granny’s clothes, dads clothes etc etc etc

With the rise of internet doll shows, there seems to have been a resurgence of interest in playing with dolls (hurray!). The 5 year old was beyond excited when she received this Barbie and her imagination imploded at the thought of being able to create her choice of patterns on Barbies clothes.Simple to use and fun to create, the 5YO enjoyed playing with it. Depending on the mood, the creation of wacky designs took up to 30 mins. The outfits are basic - either a skirt and top or a dress and waistcoat (plus a pair of shoes and a bangle). To decorate them, a selection of little stamps are included (10 to be precise: star, teddy bear, lightning bolt, Crayola crayon, diamond, hearts, Barbie silhouette, rainbow, zig zag and an eye), and two ink pads (blue & purple). No top-up ink is provided. For me, the biggest design flaw with this concept is that little people get two outfits to "colour". Once complete, the outfit then needs to be washed and dried before another creative session. As all parents know, little peoples interest wanes quite quickly - it's either ready NOW, or it is forgotten. Fortunately we have plenty of other "standard" Barbie outfits to keep 5YO occupied in the interim, but for the price I would have expected a few more clothing options. For me 3*, for 5YO 5*

My daughter is Barbie mad and her eyes lit up when she saw this. This Barbie combines her love her art and her love of dolls and this is probably one of her favourite dolls. She loves to try out different styles and different ways of using the stamps. It has been a couple of months and every weekend she is hard at work making new designs. The Barbie clothes are easy enough to wash and I haven’t had any issues getting the ink out of them. The doll itself is excellent quality like other dolls and it comes with a dress, a bolero jacket, a mullet style skirt and a fitted top.One of the excellent things about Barbie’s is that they are all the same size so when you have more than one in your collection, you can mix and match their clothes. This one is a little bit more expensive than others and I probably would not have paid the price tag of £25.98 myself but upon reflection this doll is worth every penny. My daughter plays with this all of the time and that alone makes it worth every penny.

This is a great Barbie set, my daughter is a massive Barbie fan and loves to collect them so was excited to try out this one. She also conveniently fancies herself as a bit of a fashionista and likes to draw dresses she's designed etc so she's the perfect customer. The doll is very pretty and comes with a small range of clothing items that are ready to be customised. The set comes with various stamper pieces that can be attached to the stamper itself, then you simply stamp the washable ink and create you design on the clothing, great for any other Barbie clothing too or even old clothing of your own, it washes out easily with a bit of handsoap and warm water in the sink so the children can do it themselves and it teaches them responsibility and washing too!Great fun, great to play with other Barbies and design a full range of clothes with the cool designs!Recommended, great fun and a super original set from Barbie!

This is a great Barbie for budding fashion designers as they can personalise her outfits by adding stamps and patterns to them. It comes with a 10 stamps with designs like stars, a diamond, a rainbow, a lightining bolt and heartshaped glasses. Simply stick the stamp templates onto the stamp tool, press against the ink pads and then press on the clothes. Make sure to use the screen between the layers of clothing so that the stamps dont bleed through to the reverse side. The inks are washable so you don't have to worry about any permanent stains and it also means that the stamped design will wash out of the Barbies clothes and your little one can start all over again.Brings another layer of interactive fun to having a Barbie doll. Only loses a star as it is a bit pricey for what you get. But otherwise great and my daughter loves her.

The Barbie crayola stamp fashion is a fun and creative set and a great addition to any Barbie collection. The set contains a Barbie in a dress and bolero jacket, a skirt and a blouse as well as, ten stamps, two stamp pads blue abd purple and a dress form . The idea is to creat3 new colours abd seigns on the enclosed Barbie clothes. It is very ess6 to use , you fit a clothing on the dress form. Select a stamp and dip it in the stamp pad them stamp. You can. Stamp one design, several designs ie the varuoius stamp designs x 10, in one or both colours. The colours are easily washed off in water. This very creative and interactive . This is a great play set .Collecting Barbie dolls is a shared pastime with my god-daughter and this was a lovely addition to her growing collection of babies, as well as a great way to spend time together.

I love Barbie and have a collection of them , and obviously my granddaughters have countless numbers of Barbies that spend most of their time naked in the bathroom sink. Mine on the other hand are pristine in their boxes. This Barbie is pretty , blonde hair , yellow bangle and shoes. The clothes are flimsy and cheap which I know is so they can be washed but I don't like them ( while I am typing this I am trying to remember this is for children) . The stamping aspect of it I think will be okay for the first couple of days of playing but after that I can visualise the stamps lost ,the ink pad dried out and Barbie bless her naked in the sink . This girl can not be kept pristine as I had to open her to the review. She is expensive for what she is.

The set is really nice - but at £26.00 it is a bit pricy for what it is.You get one Barbie doll - or Danielle as she is now called in our house!!!Two outfits are included - a summer dress and waitcoat, the other is a skirt and top.10 stamps and 2 inkpads are also included. It is really easy to use - yo just choose the stamp you like push it into the ink and then press it onto the fabric- the colours don't really stand out too much on the fabric though - but they are washable ( I just rinsed them in the sink with some warm soapy water and the designs we had put on came off easily.i dont think its too amazing myself but my daughter loves it and she has also used the stamps on other dresses andpaper and had hours of fun!!

A fairly standard Barbie doll with a couple of mix-and-match outfits, along with a neat little design element in the form of some stamps. The concept of creating clothing designs is highly positive, and something that my six year old daughter has been enthralled with. While the stamp designs and colours are fairly limited, the basic idea is sound and opens up a whole new area of creative play. The process is surprisingly simple and clean - I'd envisioned ink all over the place, as per the outcome of most stampers in our house - and the clothes are washable under the tap.Overall I'd say this is a novel creative outlet, and a worthwhile addition to the Barbie range.

This set of Barbie clothes is unusual in the sense that you can add prints to them! The set has a dress, jacket, skirt and a blouse. There is also a plastic mannequin board, where you place the clothes to apply the print. There is a choice of 10 different stamps and 2 colours - blue and pink.Applying the prints to the clothing is great for developing manual dexterity and gives an idea of what fashion designers do. What is even better is that you can wash the clothes and then reapply the prints. This is a toy that keeps on giving. I used to play with Barbies when I was little and the Barbie doll along with its accessories has come a long way since then. Brilliant.

This is a bit different than giving a child a normal Barbie to play with. There are clothes to dress the doll in and then you can stamp different designs all over the clothes. There are 4 outfits and 10 stamps and lots of ink to use. My daughter is young so she needed a bit of help with the stamps but that didn't stop her enjoyment. The only thing is that the clothes are little and you will spend time with fiddly outfits putting them on and off again and also I'm not sure whether the ability to stamp the design will get a little boring after a while. After that though your child can play with the Barbie with it's own personalised dresses.

Terrific idea, although it does feel a little expensive. Basically it is a stamping kit, combined with a Barbie and a dress. The design can be washed out in warm water so there can be lots of creative trial and error, and you can improvise with other objects but using the same ink pads. And of course use the included designs on paper or walls. It is a nice addition to the Barbie range but (a) not sure why Crayola needed to be a co-brand; and (b) I can SEE why it is expensive with lots of individual items making up the set, BUT for the practical entertainment it provides it should be £19.99 RRP down to £15 on deals.Good fun though.

You receive a great presented Barbie set with the added attraction of it have Crayola stamps.Barbie is not Articulated which I would have hoped she would be at the price, she has a couple of interchangeable outfits, which are very colourful.Barbie comes with 4 washable fashions and 10 unique stamps, these can be stamped on the outfits with designs such as a star, teddy bear, lightning bolt, Crayola crayon and more, these are washable afterwards.A great set and you’ll love the Crayola set and the way you can make your own designs.A little pricy but still a great Barbie set.
