This is a change to the original Barbie, body portions seem a little more realistic, although the blue eyes and blonde hair remain, Ken has plastic hair, Barbies is fibre, I also think his eyes are a little large.The Barbie comes in a blister pack, which I assume if you brought from a store would be hanging from a wall hook.The dolls do look is good, both ready to cook, Ken with his chefs jacket and Barbie in the apron, you also get a toastie maker, with toast.Both Barbie and Ken are not articulated, legs are stiff, do not bend at the knees, neither do the arms, the more expensive ones are articulated, this Barbie is in a sort of walking pose, which if you pretend to walk is a bit wooden lookingThese are nice dolls,

No matter how anatomically unlikely she may be, there's no denying that Barbie is a popular toy. This Cafe Chef set givers your little darlings one Barbie and one Ken figure to amuse themselves with. Barbie has on a green an white dress under a Barbie pink apron and she has trainers on her feet. Ken looks like he has jeans and boots on with his chef's whites - not sure Gordon Ramsey would approve.There are some additional accessories with this set - a cup and saucer, toasted sandwich maker and the toasted sandwich from within - looks like cheese to me.Recommended for age 3+, obviously due to small parts. If you have a child who loves dolls, it's pretty certain they are going to be happy with this set.

Great set of 2 Dolls, Barbie and Ken. Currently, on sale for £16.82, this is a good price for 2 Dolls with accessories.Both come dressed ready for service! Ken is in his chef whites and Barbie is in a green and white dress with a pink piny that has the Barbie logo adorned on it. Both come with removable footwear, Barbie in white pumps and Ken in black boots. Their shoulder and hip joints are both movable. Barbie has lush, long, blonde (nylon) hair that you can brush and style. Ken’s hair is, unfortunately, plastic but he looks good.They come with a cup and saucer, a toasty machine and a pre-made sandwich.Great for role play and a fab addition to any child’s Barbie collection.A big thumbs up from my daughter who is 7,

This pack contains two twelve inch dolls complete with outfits at a very attractive price (currently nearly 50% off). My 4 year old niece absolutely adored them, although the small accessories - a sandwich toaster, a toasted sandwich and a cup and saucer went straight into a drawer for later. They’re quite fiddly small pieces, and as far as I can see they're the only part of the set not really suitable for very young children. The dolls themselves are great though. Ken is dressed in a white chef’s jacket with dark blue trousers and black boots. Barbie is a really nice doll with realistic nylon hair that you can comb and style (Ken’s is plastic) a cute pink apron with stripy green dress underneath and white pumps.

These are nice enough dolls.For £19.95 it’s a great price for this two doll set.My daughter (7) has the ultimate kitchen set so she loves these dolls and Barbie and Ken are often making elaborate meals for their dinner parties in their kitchen.From the parents perspective, the dolls are pretty good quality. I did notice that the dolls themselves don’t bend or move. There are plenty of dolls in the range where the arms and legs bend etc but they obviously cost a little more. My daughter doesn’t seem to have an issue with this though, she plays with them both fairly often.I recommend based on the fact my daughter and her friends enjoy playing with these and its been a while since we have had

My daughter must have – well, lots and lots of, Barbie dolls, but this is her first Ken doll and to say she was excited was an understatement! Not sure why we never added a Ken to our collection before, but I doubt he will be the last, as he has been a big hit.Ken and Barbie are dressed to work in a case and, although you can remove Barbie’s apron, to reveal a pretty, green striped dress, Ken doesn’t have any leisure clothes, and also the accessories are quite basic – a sandwich maker, toasted sandwich and a cup.Neither of the dolls can bend their knees, but they can sit and move legs at the hips and arms at the shoulders. Overall, good play value and she loved both dolls,

What can you say about Ken and Barbie? These are pretty standard versions of the well known couple. He is dressed like a dentist but he is supposed to be a chef. She is slim and trendily dressed as a waitress. They come with some of the basic accoutrements one would associate with a sandwich bar - toastie maker, a sandwich, a cup and a plate. As with all Barbie dolls they figures do not stand upright unsupported which I've always thought a bit of a shame and a limitation in terms of playability. If your kids like Barbies they will no doubt love this pair.

It's nice to get a Ken in this set too; most of the time it's Barbie and one of her friends, an animal, or a bunch of accessories. My kids didn't have a Ken before this, but now they can expand their play by having all sorts of domestic disagreements. Ken is dressed as a chef, with Barbie looking like a cross between a Chef, a waitress, and a manager. There are a few accessories to spruce things up such as a toaster - my girls have made Barbie the chef in their Our Generation cafe and use all of its accessories to concoct a wide array of fun stories.

This Ken and Barbie doll Cafe Play Set has gone down well with a friend's young daughter. I suppose you could say that the manufacturers of the brand are attempting to rebrand Barbie as a twenty-first century Working Woman - maybe she owns the cafe - and Ken is doing the prep. This is quite a fun little set, with a panini press and a sandwich that fits in to it, plus you get a cup and plate. Ken and Barbie as a brand has been going years, and will no doubt carry on. reinventing itself n such a way. Good fun play set, not prohibitively priced.

Barbie and Ken have opened a cafe, selling toasties and fresh coffee. Barbie is working tables while Ken gets down and dirty in the kitchen. Ken couldn't resist putting eye make-up before coming to work today, and he polished his shoes to a mirror finish - I guess all these years as second-fiddle are wearing thin.Meanwhile Barbie has opted for sensible white sneakers and a flattering mid-thigh dress. She knows that her hair should be up when she is working, but with hair that good she just had to leave it down.Ready to order?

Nice enough if you are into the whole Barbie and Ken universe. They are both attired in food preparation outfits and included is a small sandwich toaster and sandwich, cup and saucer. I imagine it goes with some bit of cafe diarama and is marketed as such. I was surprised that the arms and legs don't bend but otherwise they seem quite well made and the outfits compliment them both. Not sure how good they'd make as chefs with such inflexible body parts but there you go.

Good quality Barbie & Ken for a fantastic price! I would say Ken looks a little feminine - however given the large transgender community nowadays I would like to think he will be accepted in most homes. I have seen a review where someone complains about him looking like a girl - get a grip!I actually used these dolls as part of a display for my classroom - linking in with the M&S Little Shop Collectables. No complaints ?.

My daughter loves playing with her barbies, but I have to say she was a bit underwhelmed with this set. The dolls are the most basic kind. They can only move in basic ways, and Ken has solid plastic hair which my daughter does not like at all. A younger child with not much experience of Barbies might find this an ok set, but apart from the cute panini press and sandwich, my daughter doesn't want to play with them.

This is nicely boxed set of Barbie and Ken dolls, dressed in their Cafe workwear. The set also includes a play sandwich toaster and sandwich and a cup/saucer set. The set is well detailed and will give hours of play value. It is well made and finished and is a good quality toy. Clothes can be removed, so that figures can be dressed in other clothes. It is keenly priced and represents excellent value for money.
