Firstly I'd like to protest against Mattel only ever distributing the blonde versions of these dolls in Europe. For starters, the black dolls are completely different from the white dolls and have a different face sculpt. The two types have nothing in common except a dress, and as a collector I like to be able to choose (I have either a blonde or an AA Holiday Barbie for every year since 2008). Also, wake up, Mattel! We have many ethnic minorities in Europe and not everyone wants to play with white dolls all the time!So (as usual) I have had to source this doll from the US through a trusted UK-based seller. She is gorgeous. Her dress is lovely and shows off the attractive Model Muse neck and collarbone very well.Her presentation in the box is also good, but the box itself is a bit flimsy and vulnerable to denting (the lack of border around the front helps you see the doll better, but increases the risk of damage). It would also be useful if she came with a stand; it's easy to present the stands discreetly in the boxes, so I have no idea why she doesn't have one (especially as the 2013 and 2014 dolls did).Lastly, while she is incredibly pretty she is quite light-skinned, and looks more biracial than black. Indeed it's been 3 years since the AA Holiday Barbie had any skin tone other than light brown, and a change would be nice. Her face is unquestionably beautiful though, and I love her serene half-smile.Overall I would definitely recommend this doll, but be sure to request robust packaging if you'd like the box to survive the transatlantic journey! :)

This doll is totally gorgeous and came at a bargain price the very next day! Her hair is a lovely ash-type blonde and the waves are luscious.The detailing of the dress match with her jewellery and her fingernails go with her dress beautifully. She is a total delight!

I saw this Barbie doll, and thought it was Zsecial for Christmas with the date on. It is quite unique, not many little girls will have got one so it is special

Really pretty and Christmassy. Dress is bright and sparkly. Worth the money. Kept in the box because it's so nice.
