Having an ATX card with stupidly placed PCI-E x8 ports and GPUs that block them, this PCI-E x16 card is a God-send.Crystal Clear sound from the 5:1 system with low distortion even at high volumes.The software provided is clean and isnt a system hog.Downsides are a little limited on mixer abilities, high trebles are slightly tinny and deep bass becomes a little muddy but that is with the sliders way past the usual spectrum.All in all, a fantastic card for the price.Oh, and don't forget to make it the default device in the sound manager, that is often forgoten!

Sound quality is absolutely amazing, however install drivers is long and painful on x64 Windows 7 Ultimate. You wait long minutes only to get message: Please insert your audio card. However if you are patient with restarting and trying again, you'll be amazed with superb quality of 5.1 sound via optical SPDIF.This was bought to replace my failed Xonar DG card, and definitely would recommend and buy again.

Easy to fit, doesn't take up too much space, optical, coaxial and standard connections, good driver setup with adjustable settings and excellent sound quality - take note that after installation you must select your chosen output in the DG Audio Centre software which will be installed - the link to this will appear in your task bar tray...good card, recommended...
