Fantastic sound card from Asus have always had Creative cards before this so I was a bit nervus to change ,but so pleased I did ,deserves all my 5 stars and more .Can I just add I purchased this item at 3.30pm on the Saturday and it was delivered the next day on sunday ,another 5 stars plus some to Amazon fastest delivery I have ever had Amazon is Amazing

The differents between this and on-board sound is amazing, I had been using my on-board digital sound out connected to a receiver, I have now got the xonar stx ii connected through rca to the receiver and the sound quality is far better than before . If you listen to music then this is the card for you .

Exactly what you would expect from Asus excellent quality, there just is no sound card better than this period just rememberto get the best headphones you can afford to appreciate it.

Wow! What a great sound card. Music has amazing detail and punch. Video games sound great, too - play World of Tanks and World of Warships and the card brings the games to life.
