This is an excellent little boat, to play with in the bath, paddling pool or with other aqua play products. There is a small tank at the top with a little stopper, which you can fill with water then press a little button to squirt the water out. I would say this is suitable for a child from age 2 and a half to age 7. My 3 year old loves it. The down side, is it is a little expensive plus it would benefit from having a little character to ride on the boat. If you don't have the characters which come with the other aqua play boats, it would be easy enough to use playmobil, lego people or other small plastic characters instead.

The fire boat squirts for miles, so be prepared to run if you want to stay dry! It lost one star because it's quite difficult to fill - in the end we had to resort to submerging it completely with the cap open and pumping the water through with the 'squirt' button.
