These are made of plastic and sturdy for little hands, they aren't going to break easily and go well in the bath or with the aqua play sets that it is meant to go with. My boys have been happy with this boat. One thing I will say is that they do fill with water and it is really difficult to get it out of it, I don't really know why there is a need for a tiny hole to even allow the water in in the first place. But in order to get the water out you have to get the top bit off the bottom bit and squeeze, the plastic is obviously hard so this is quite difficult to do and a pain in the ....Kids love the boats so that's the main thing

The Bear is really great and my son plays with him all the time, but the boat has a kind of design flaw that means, it is very hard to get the water out after playing. But all of the aquaplay ones do, we have bought all of them with the various figures (Hippo in car, Duck and Frog in sailboats). I would still buy them all again because my son absolutely loves playing with them, but they are a tat annoying to dry after playing. All of the figures fit onto the Lego duplo toys, so they are very versatile. Taken together, the bear figure is great so boat is ok. Good aquaplay and bathtub toy.
