I decided that I would initially purchase the New 2020 MacBook Air, they have the new keyboards, double the SSD size from the previous model and the very latest intel 10th Gen processors - seemed ideal. However, the chassis of the MacBook Air is not particularly cooling efficient and to avoid overheating Apple will throttle the speed of the CPU (or processor) and the cooling fan will regularly be on (which adds unwanted noise). If you are you a light user (web browsing, email etc.) than a MacBook Air would be perfect but it was enough to make me decide to go for a New MacBook Pro instead.However, the new MacBook Pro range in reality has 2 quite different versions...The entry level model has an 8th Gen Intel processor,

I haven't had a new MacBook since the 2nd gen 11 inch Air (2011) I also have an 2012 iMac. Both recently stopped taking updates. The air was full and I didn't use it that much anyway. So I needed an upgrade. I wanted to combine the portability of the Air withe the power of the iMac. So settled on the largest out of the box pro you can get.I thought it would be painful to move all my data from the iMac to the pro as one was 8 years old. WRONG! it was ridiculously easy. I am loving some of the new features. it's slick. Fast. Powerful. Easy to set up.Only done a little video editing so far but was a breeze.yes it is expensive but, in my opinion, totally worth it. Especially as they last so long.

I was a tad sceptical to buy this because of the reviews, such as overheating and being the wrong model. I am so glad I ignored them! Its absolutely perfect! Just the right size, display is so crisp and the sound is awesome. As a writer the keyboard is a huge thing for me but the keys are beautiful to type with! Light, compact, convenient. It arrived this morning and I've spent all morning setting it up and getting to know the interface. Even though I've had an iPhone for about 7 years now, I thought I'd struggle more to pick it up but its super easy. The new keyboard system is really fancy and I honestly have no complaints- nothing bad to say. 10/10 would recommend- and cheaper than buying in store too!

I have windows laptops but in January a windows update messed up my laptop which meant I has to start all over again. I found it quite frustrating.I thought about buying a Macbook due to it's reliability etc, I was stuck between the Macbook air and the Macbook pro, with the help of youtube I went for the Macbook pro, i5 10th generation, 16gb with 4 thunderbolts ports. I had never ordered a laptop from Amazon and it was shipped by DPD and received the exact 2020 model I ordered.It is almost 2 weeks I have had this and I am very happy with the purchase, everything is going well and it is a new experience using Mac OS!

Fantastic update to the MacBook. Whilst it is mo re expensive than almost every other brand of laptop, the interoperability of the software with the hardware (plus Apple support), makes this laptop a winner. Highly recommend.

Very reasonable price for a MacBook Pro. Looks really nice in Space Grey. Touch Bar is handy and no issues with keyboard. Video quality is superb. 13 inch is fine, not too big, not too small.

Initial review:It's exceptional for multitasking.Fan does get loud occasionally when under load.Speakers that made me sell my old bluetooth speaker.Super fast Thunderbolt ports.

It's a very nice product, works very good. The design is flawless. I had before a pro from 2011 so the differences are many.The product is the one from description, 2020 model.

Open it up, turn it on by pressing the on/off button and type on the keyboard. Once you have finished using it, turn it off by pressing the on/off button and close it.

MacBook is of good quality, just what I was looking for to replace my previous machine. It was easy to setup straight out of the box & really easy to use.

Finally the MBP has a good keyboard again! Perfect little 13" powerhouse. Quick shipping and I did indeed receive the 2020 model as described, no complaints.

Bought Dell XPS 13 9300 recently, but it was full of problems! So bought this MacBook then and haven't had any issues! Loving it.

This was an upgrade from my 2017 model.... I love the touch screen bar on the keyboard a great feature.

Overall an amazing MacBook but I’m definitely a little disappointed with the battery life on this one.

Fantastic OS, even better compatibility with other Apple devices.Only setback is the battery life.
