If like me you are of an age where things begin to stiffen up and your eyesight is not what it was, then this could be the keyboard for you. The keyboard is large enough to enable old fingers which don't always find the right keys to get to the 'right' one first time. The keys which are nearly an inch across are very visible - even with out glasses. So it works and works well! It also has two USB ports on the side which make it very easy to add memory sticks etc.As a size comparison the keyboard is as big as a normal keyboard, but there are no numeral keys, so it fits into the space of your 'normal keyboard' but everything on it is bigger. Are there any downsides? Yes! It takes a bit of getting used to,and it doesn't stop me from hitting the occasional wrong key, - but I do have very stiff hands. Also the keyboard is 'clacky'. In my house this means that I cant write emails in th early morning or last thing at night without waking my other half up! (heaven help me!!)All in all it helps me and gives me back a bit of freedom to do what I want. And for that reason it gets the full 5 stars

In terms of ergonomics it is really good if you have problems with proprioception, stiffness or pain in your fingers when using smaller keys. It takes a bit of getting used to because the spacing of the keys is different but that comes with practice. The '1' key on the keyboard I ordered didn't always register if you hit it too lightly. Typing can also be quite loud.I found though that most of the time it wouldn't work on Linux. I tried this on both OpenSuse 42.2 and Mint 18.1 Running lsusb and looking through the system log showed that it was found (idVendor=214b, idProduct=7000) but wasn't receiving any power, I think Linux's power management wasn't providing any because the Caps lock light wasn't on .It has a couple of USB ports on the monitor side and inserting a USB stick in the port tells Linux to start providing power to it and allows you to start typing with it.

This is my second keyboard of this type - the first finally began to show a desire for retirement after three years hard use. It seems to have been designed in consultation with V.I. users, not just by a designer who thought he knew about V.I. needs. The keys are a little heavy - you won't manage 120 wpm on this keyboard - but the feel is pleasantly tactile and, because there is no numeric keypad the keys are larger and brighter. The layout of auxiliary keys ('F' keys,' Insert', 'Delete', cursor movement etc.) is conventional, unlike some keyboards I have tried. I thought at first that the two extra USB sockets were a bit of a gimmick but soon found that they were very convenient for plugging in my radio mouse dongle and a USB microphone (I use a blue Snowball).Having tried several hi-vis keyboards, this is the one I keep coming back to.

I chose this after much reading of reviews and ..... I'm pleased we chose the Accuratus.Okay, it's NOT the cheapest keyboard of it's type. (No pun intended.)It is though a very good-quality keyboard which is suitable for everyday use (having the all-important f-keys to allow boot-up access) as well as being suitable for youngsters. The keys are impressively-firm and give a satisfying "click" upon use (be aware that SOME may find that irritating; I don't though). Also, (not shown in the product pictures) the keyboard comes with a detachable palm/wrist rest. It's been in use for over a month now, and looks like it'll last for years.A very good quality keyboard which I very highly recommend.

This was (as the title indicates) a birthday present for my Great Aunt. Due to failing eye sight, she has found it difficult to use her computer for some time now. When I was asking about birthday presents, her son mentioned that a high visibility keyboard could be a good idea. I have since heard back that the keyboard was a huge success, and now they have difficulty getting her off the computer! The reason I chose THIS keyboard was that it had good reviews. I did not set it up (her son did, as well as enabling various options on her computer), but it looks like it has helped her get back into communication with her friends and family who live abroad.

I am 87 and my fingers are not as nimble as they once were; these big keys increase the size of the target and reduce the number of miss-keystrokes that I make. Since I produce around two thousand words a day plus illustrations this is very important. I don't find it slow or 'clunky' - it probably varies from one product to another but there is one annoyance. I think that the person who placed the letter is not very familiar with the Western alphabet - they have juxtaposed the X & Z. I recommend the keyboard to any other writer as decrepit as me; it has reduced my editing time considerably.

Great keyboard. Found slight problem at start because the keys are larger they are obviously not in the same area as the old keyboard I had. However this discrepancy was soon over come as I used the keysExtremely easy to see and therefore use. Keys depress without too much effort. Why didn't I know of this years back to save me the stress of having to scrutinise keys before I could happily use. ?My grandson ( aged 6 ) also finds this keyboard easy to use , so good for learners as well as we with sight problems.

Bought to replace an older version that has given up the ghost. My husband is severely visually impaired and finds this keyboard a godsend. So much easier for him to use with the larger keys and the keys are much clearer for him as this colour combination is good for him.. Not much else to say except if you have sight problems would recommend that you try this keyboard. There are similar and cheaper ones out there on Amazon but they are not so large and the keys seem to be closer together.

I bought this keyboard because my sight isn't so good nowadays - after an infection in my right eye gave me a corneal scar.. This keyboard overcomes my poor eyesight =- I also fitted a USB LED dongle so that I could orientate the keyboard in the dark. That was easy because the ACCURATUS has two USB ports at the rear. Can't praise it too much. Also black letters on a yellow background has been shown to be the best contrast for seeing clearly.

Accuratus Monster 2 USB High Visibility Keyboard in UppercaseI bought this keyboard for my Father who is visually impaired. He found it much easier to use than his old keyboard. The keyboard is very bright(yellow with black lettering) and as a result he was able to use it without his glasses or a magnifing glass. He is delighted with it. The delivery was very prompt and I would recommend it very highly.

Needed something larger and clearer because sight deteriorates with age .Keys are in white with black letters and a little larger than the normal keyboards.Might take a little adjustment at first so as to hit the right keys but one soon adapts.Lead might have been longer;depends on how your bits of hardware are organised-I bought an extension on Amazon at a very reasonable price.

This has been a life-saver for me - I was struggling with an ordinary keyboard following an injury to my hand, and getting very frustrated about making lots of mistakes. This keyboard is just right for me, and I’d recommend it to anybody who has difficulties with their fingers / hand, e.g. through injuries or arthritis. The USB ports on it are a handy bonus. Top marks.

I bought this so I could see the keys better (eyesight reasons and at night in dim room). This is great and takes just a little to get used to but much better/easier than I thought. I would recommend for kids, people who wear glasses, anyone who wants to see the keypad better, really anyone could benefit from this. Just plug and go. Very happy with purchase!

I love this keyboard. I batter the hell out of it and it works fine. I know other reviewers have said that the letters have scratched off but that is not the case for me. I use mine a lot and am very pleased with it. If I have a grouse it is that the keys are a bit clunky, but that's me being picky. This is a very good keyboard..
