An excellent kit.It comes with a safe, plastic needle, that, quite honestly, would probably struggle to push through jelly. That is not a problem, as the pieces all have the holes pre made.That produces nice, even stitches, and the finished doll looks great.My daughter loved doing this as her first sewing project, and it kept her interested until it was finished, as she could see how each step was taking her closer to the finished doll.

Very nice product but very difficult for a child to do on their own. It took us 3 days with my 7 year old daughter to make.
