I purchased this headset to give the wife a bit of peace and quiet and to immerse myself more in the games that I'm playing. Originally I was looking at headsets in the £100 range but after seeing this I decided to take a chance on a cheaper product to save a few pennies. My biggest fear was that cheaper must mean worse right? Wrong! I can't fault these headphones. As soon as I got them I tested them out with Battlefield 4. The headset just plugs straight in to your Dualshock 4 and you are good to go (Don't forget to go in to the PS4 setting and change the audio to play through the headset). The sound is fantastic! Every footstep, gun shot and explosion is crisp and clear.

I've had to get this headset as my Sony pulse headset broke after having it not even a year. I was a bit worried about getting another sony product but I was drawn in by the fact I didn't have to charge it and plus it plugged straight into my ps4 controller which is a great idea, I like not having wires trailing from my ps4 tripping me over. I ordered this headset on a Saturday and it was here by the next day the product was packaged good it was easy to open no stupid plastic that cuts your hands whilst opening. I plugged them straight into my controller I didn't have to edit sound levels my ps4 did it all for me.

This headset definitely comes under the "cheap and cheerful" banner but is a bargain (at the twenty pounds I paid) and will do a job for most casual gamers. They do have a lightweight plastic-ky feel to them as expected but are comfortable enough to wear for an hour or so. The photos are quite flattering IMO and make them look a bit more "premium" than they actually are - I think I may have felt short changed had I paid the nearer forty pounds as some sellers were asking.Being dedicated PS4 cans though I love the fact that no dongle is required. It's just a question of plugging into your DS4 controller jack and you're good to go although you may have to change the chat settings in the PS4 menu which takes all of twenty seconds.

Having struggled to play certain games for months, I thought I'd try it with headphones on and didn't want to pay the earth. I'm sure there will be the experts out there screaming you should have bought other much higher priced bits of kit, but let's go with these as I didn't want to waste a whole stack of cash to find it didn't help. So now games like "The Division", "Cod" and "Wildlands" are so much better as I can hear where things are coming from and react better. Yeah who would have thought it, stereo in the 21st century! My biggest surprise though was how well they sound compared to the TV sound ( the TV is stereo but it's only the TV speakers with no extras) , suddenly I have deep base sounds,

These headphones are great for the thing they were designed for. Being a gaming headset. I was dumb enough to use them as my general purpose headphones. Boy was that a mistake...The volume control would only hit max volume if I actually held the dial in place with my thumb. Also, bumping it while walking will make the volume fluctuate. It has almost no resistance against rain either, so they'll probably die after a few wet ventures.As a headset though, they're nice and comfy. The sound quality is very good so I could play my PS4 with the game and chat coming through the headset. They worked very well on my Vita too.So in conclusion, if you're getting these to use on your commute to work and such,

I bought this headset for two reasons, reason one for it's simplicity of connecting straight into the PS4 controller, and the other reason, because of it's low price. It arrived the next day (thanks to Amazon), I connected it to the PS4 controller, tried it in-game (on Call of Duty "Ghosts") and the quality really surprised me. The bass response is brilliant, mid-range is great, and all the high frequency sounds are crisp and sharp, the headset can also easily cope with being cranked up to full volume (and at this level, you really do feel like you're in the middle of a war-zone). The headset also has separate in-line volume controls for the game itself, and microphone volume,

Gave these 4* as they do the job for the price. I was previously an XBox360 player and have Turtle Beach PX12 they was getting old and some extra equipment was needed to make them usable on PS4 so i ordered the Official headset.They have done the job, the only problems i had is the volume, way too quiet and no surround sound and the chat volume is only your own, if you turn it off you still hear others.Ordered some TB PX4 i just cant do without a proper headset.

Was so excited to receive this product and I wasn't disappointed. I did howevever watch a review from the US where the product came with a scratch resistant bag for the headphones which wasn't included in my box. Great sound and moves from left to right as appropriate giving a greater sense of being immersed in the surroundings of your games. There may be better out there but this is great value for the price

I bought this to use with a PS4 because the guy who lives with me was making faaaaar too much noise.So it gets 5 stars for the serene silence I now have at home, but I've also had a listen in on it and the audio quality is actually really good. I normally use Bose headphones, and obviously these aren't as good as those, but for what was paid, they really are great value for money.Highly recommended!

Work great. No install required just plug and play. The only minor complaint is that I can only hear chat audio through the left earmuff. It's probably a designed PS4 thing (the headset it comes with only has a left ear piece) it just sounds odd when you're playing games without in game audio. Which I tend to do during sports games because the commentary is dull and repetitive.

Got a pair of these little beauties, sits on your ears perfect, sound quality is crystal clear, u can hear players walking around you, reloading their weapons, which helps you out, (eg. bf4 & bfh) two volume controls one for game and one for chat which does help as u can toggle with them, for the price u can't grumble, I would recommend this headset...

cheap and very cheerful. sound quality isnt amazing compared to much more expensive sets and max volume is relatively low- also i cant mix chat and gameplay on it, though there are volume sliders for both- but the 3d effect and clarity is ace for such a cheapo pair. get kojima's pt (silent hills) free on the psn store and test them out.

Fairly good quality product, especially considering the price. Has an easy to use function that allows you to control how loud others appear to you and also how loud your own voice will be. Only problem is the earpieces are fairly small and don't fit around my ears (Perhaps mine are just big). For the price I'd recommend it.

Great price for an officially licensed but not a Sony product. Slightly disappointed when the cable pulled from one ear piece when my son dropped his controller. The vendor replaced the faulty headset with a new one so all smiles again. My teenage son likes them as not too heavy or large and has volume control and mic mute.

The headset is clear with high qualify sound. It also is very comfortable to wear. I cannot possibly fault it at the price as very reasonable but if they wanted to improve it and make a better version they could make it so you could control the incoming chat volume separately from the game music and sound effects volume
