This is a great beginner's kit, mainly because the guitar is of very good quality, and the supplied stand and carry bag are decent. The spare strings are of middling quality, picks are fine, tuner is rubbish (get a clip on one like as Snark instead). I wouldn't bother with the DVD in the age of sites like Justin Guitar.As for the main event, the guitar is apparently the best selling budget acoustic in the UK. It's easy to see why. Out of the box it is perfectly playable, stays in tune and has a reasonably low action. The neck is relatively narrow and is smooth. There are no "sprouting" frets and the finish is basic, but fine. The tuners feel a bit cheap, but do the job well enough.

This is the first guitar I have owned. Could have bought models that were a lot cheaper but this should last and do all I ever want. The finish is great and it feels like it has been made to last. The training DVD in the package is probably a little advanced for a complete beginner. However there a good number of detailed free, or low cost courses available online so this does not really affect customer satisfaction of the whole package

Elegant deisgn, it came with all the authentic stuff you expect from Yamaha, craftmanship is spot on. The free carry bag is a plus while the included yamaha tuner is not accurate, my mobile app tuner is better for fine tuning this acoustic

Advertised as having a gig bag and a stand however, upon receiving the parcel, the box didn’t have the said items in it. Although the guitar would, on its own, get a 5 star the missing items have dragged down my rating to 2.5.

Highly impressed with the mint condition of this acoustic guitar. Came from a musician household and I even got a stand and a free electronic tuner. Great deal.
