I've wanted to learn guitar for a while now. I've practised a little on really cheap guitars in the past but none of them motivated me to continue practising so I decided to spend some money on a better guitar. I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse. For those who don't know, it's just Amazon selling products that have some sort of problem that stop them from being sold as brand new and sealed. For example, it could be a damaged box or the product may be slightly scratched. In my case, just the outer box was damaged, which is perfectly fine since I bought it for myself. I'd highly recommend checking out the Amazon Warehouse page if you're buying something for yourself.(Items from there may not be up to standard to give as a gift)Anyway! Onto the product itself! I own an Ibanez electric guitar which I love and the reviews of this acoustic guitar were very positive so I had high expectations for this guitar. I was right to do so! I love this guitar! I should probably say that I haven't owned or played a decent acoustic guitar before so I can't really speak from previous experience with guitars. As someone who couldn't be much more of a beginner guitarist, I thought this product was wonderful! I think it sounds great. (Though, more experienced guitarists may be a bit more picky than I am.) It feels great to play! I have small hands and I don't struggle playing this guitar at all.I can't comment too much on all the things that came in the guitar pack as I don't use most of them. I use the tuner and it seems to work really well and it's really simple to use!My guitar never leaves the house so I've never used the case, though, if you do plan to take your guitar places, I've seen a ton of people recommend getting a hard case, rather than using soft cases like the one provided, so keep that in mind!I really wasn't a fan of the included picks. They were too thick for my liking (Some people may like them though) and they also didn't seem too neat. They had bits of plastic on them which should have been cut or sanded off during manufacturing. Of course I could've just gotten some from a bad batch. But if you're willing to spend a couple of minutes tidying them up, they may turn out to be pretty good picks!I haven't had any real reason to use the guitar strap but I've tried it a couple of times just to see how it feels. Honestly, it feels pretty uncomfortable to me but I've never been shown how to use a guitar strap so I could just be using it completely wrong. I'd recommend reading other reviews to see if any more experienced guitarists have commented on the strap. Overall, I think the strap would be perfectly fine for short term use though until you decide to invest in a better one.I personally think this is an outstanding guitar for someone who's just started learning and also for more experienced guitarists! I would 100% recommend this guitar to anyone who is looking for a first or a new guitar to buy!

I’d strummed around on an old, slightly tired junkshop guitar for years and wasn’t really going anywhere - I thought it was about time I learned to play properly, and to look for a good beginners guitar to practice on..I did quite a bit of research online and was about to go for the very popular Yamaha F-310, when I stumbled upon a video, Top 5 Best Acoustic Guitar for Beginners Comparison, featuring a Yamaha F-310, an Ibanez V50NJP, a Cort AD810 OP, an Epiphone DR-100 and a Fender CD-60, where the guitarist didn't talk, just picked and strummed the five guitars individually, with plenty of time to listen to each..I listened many times, eyes closed, through speakers and through headphones; all the guitars sounded great to be honest, but the Ibanez just seemed to sing out to me - it had a lovely mid-range warmth, a bit like the Fender, and a kind of hum that just won me over - when I checked I couldn’t believe the price on Amazon (it was about 60 quid cheaper than the excellent Fender but sounded just as good to my ears..)So I went for the Ibanez V50NJP and I’ve loved every second playing with it, it has a gorgeous sound, it’s easy to play and I’m looking forward to many musical adventures ahead..

This is a so called Budget guitar however very far from it; it is a very good guitar that compares to a few midrange guitars both in Tone and Action. The stings that come with it are OK however I do recommend changing them and the Bridge for the Spare one in the pack, I put Dean Markley Helix Strings as a preference it just enhanced the rich and warm tones of the guitar. The finish is anything but Budget finished very nicely by a brand that knows how to produce fine guitars, my Electric is an Ibanez S420 BBS and they are both beautifully finished buy a company that can be trusted to make a fine guitar.the extra's you get are also handy, Spare Bridge, spare string lug,Clip on Tuner Small Carrying bag for all the different bits, Alan Key for neck adjustments, Strap and gig Bag (a bit on the thin side) all this amounts to this being a bargain Compared to say Tanglewood or Fender, don’t go for the basement guitars (£40 & £50) spend that little extra and bag a budget priced tone rich wonderful guitar you will be happy you did.

That's an amazing guitar for the price I paid (ordered a used one and was surprised when I received an entirely new guitar !). I used to have a similar Ibanez, but then it was broken. This is why when I needed to buy a keenly priced guitar, I knew what brand I wanted to look for.The sound is outstanding for the price - typically, "ibenezially" cold, vibrating, deepThe kit is also of a great use - I move from one place to another quite often, so having a good box with a handle and many things inside (including a tuner) is handyIs it good for beginners ? Well, it's up to you. My first guitar was veeery similar to this, and I do understand that for some people it might be hard to take chords with it (like with many metal strings guitars). However, I managed it. Don't be soft on yourself. If you manage to take chords with this guitar, playing any other guitar will not cause you a problem.Overall - I am extremely satisfied

Simply stunning. I am a session guitarist and needed a cheap guitar for travelling. I read the other reviews from people who understood guitars and thought, I have nothing to lose by buying this guitar, if its rubbish, it can go in the bin. I cannot believe the quality of this guitar at this price. The sound is light and beautiful, the action compares to guitars ten times the price. The tuning is spot on, and (so far), no slippage. Even the strings that arrived with the guitar are of a decent quality. If that wasn't enough, they throw in a strap, a gig bag, plecs etc. No idea how Ibanez have managed to pull this off at this ridiculous price. I have now ordered another four, for my students.Do not hesitate, this guitar is simply wonderful.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to guitars and do not know much about them, however after much consideration and research I opted to purchase this guitar and starter kit. I must say that I have been impressed with it so far, as far as I am concerned it I find the quality and sound good, and personally think it is a very good looking guitar. The guitar carry bag is basic but fit for purpose, however the electronic guitar tuner isn't very good or user friendly, I preferred a free app on my Iphone which was much clearer. Good all round starter package for anybody who wants to give guitar a go without breaking the bank.

If I start with the typical "for the money it's worth it" you'll probably get a different impression. The guitar is awesome and quite cheap! It has a standard bright sound, not too bright and not too dark. Right in the middle. Probably I expected a little bit more definition in the low range, but still - it is really good. It has an awesome tonal richness when chords are played.I'd recommend this guitar for any novice player. It's easy to play and even if you go on a further level in your skills, this guitar won't pull you back. I've actually been using it for studio recordings because of it's defined sound.

Nicely packaged, arrived in 48 hours, many thanks. The Ibanez V50 I received is set up very nicely, out of the box a quick tune with the easy to use tuner and it sounds gorgeous. The action is nice the bridge a good height , seems to hold it's tune well , played for a few hours and I still think it's great value for moneyMay change strings, bridge, personal preference. The bag does fit, may do more damage getting it in than protecting it.Mine has a few minor scratches but the overall finish and build looks good.I have found this guitar to have a lovely sound and the vintage sunburst looks stunning.

I decided that it was time to finally learn how to play the guitar. I had a look around and was advised that it might be best to not go for a high end one as I probably wouldn't know the difference and i wouldn't know if I liked it until I started playing. I absolutely love this guitar, I haven't put it down since I bought it. The sound is excellent (once it is tuned properly),I love the colour and (unlike some other comments) mine was in amazing condition. I have yet to place it in the travel bag ( doesn't look like it fits to be honest) but I hope never to put it away and always have it out to play.

This package fits in a price range which offers many alternatives. Some well known names are not necessarily better quality, but I am very pleased with this Ibanez guitar. The accessories are ok, but the guitar itself has a crisp and pleasant tone. Of course, the strings are brand new and so will sound fresh anyway, but the action and the build quality is excellent. This was bought for my daughter as a Christmas present. I would have no hesitation in purchasing it again. Add to that the quick and efficient service from Reidy's Home of Music and the overall product is brilliant.

The guitar itself is beautfully made, light enough for long hours of playing.PROS:Packed with a lot of things - As the description says, however I did not expect the strap or tuner to be of good quality (I got so used to free stuff being of bad/flimsy quality).Sound - It is so beautiful and full, what you would expect from an Ibanez guitar.CONS:The frets are not well finished that I get scratched on my left pointer finger when changing frets. I fixed it with nail varnish just to avoid this. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars.

This guitar sounds amazing it has a deep rich warm tone and comes with a load of accessories that will help you get up and running. My guitar came damaged, the scratch plate had been bent off the guitar so I was not to happy about that but it doesn't change the fact this sounds really good.I have been playing guitar for roughly 6 years and I have played on many different types of acoustics, this is by far the best. The items with this consist of;TunerAllen keyStringStrapBridge + pinLittle bag to store them all inGuitar picks (5)

Absolutely wonderful guitar for beginners. I shifted to the UK recently and was unable to bring my guitars from my home country. I hadn't played the guitar in almost three years and decided to start again. It's wonderful guitar, worth more than the price. Great sound. Nice, low action. The only negative I'd say is that it tends to not stay in tune for long, and I find myself retuning it everytime i pick it up, and sometimes in between a long jam session. Of you're on the edge, just take the leap. You won't be disappointed.

So far so great! I must confess I've not given this a thorough check over for blemishes, but I've tuned it and strummed a few chords and it has a lovely warm yet bright tone and a nice low action.I learned to play very basic guitar 20 years ago and am now as rusty as a ship wreck, but decided to try to learn again and bought this based on the other reviews. Not disappointed! Bargain for the tone and ease of play and looks nice to boot.

First one to arrive was defective but had a replacement 2 days later before i had even sent the other back. The reason i gave 5 stars was for the quality of instrument. Beautiful folky sound with gorgeous high end and low action. Much more than i expected for £70. Would recommend this guitar to anyone, especially for a first guitar. Gives some of the more expensive models a run for their money. I'm one very happy customer.
