Used it for the first time with a chocolate muffin mix. Forgot to grease the tins (it is recommended) sat worrying while it baked and then another 20 minutes while it cooled.Turned it out- Perfect!Bought it to make a birthday cake rather than Halloween and if the trial run is anything to go by, the cake for the day will be awesome. Easy to stick together, just used some frosting and then covered it with a thin layer of frosting and laid icing straight over it. Surprised how easily it showed the form of the teeth/jaw etc.Would definitely recommend it.

I had used skull tins before and they were disappointing in that they didn't produce much definition. With this tin I could even see the individual teeth. The cake also popped out very easily - I just greased the tin with a little butter & dusted it lightly with flour before pouring the batter in. Highly recommend this tin. Each side of the skull needs almost the whole of 1 standard Victoria Sponge cake recipe - ie. both layers. I had a little left over I used to make a couple of cupcakes.

Make sure to use a cooking spray (I used Frylight Butter Flavour) otherwise it sticks and ruins. Overall very good product. Came out quite nice (if I do say so myself) scratches very easily but doesn’t affect use.**Please don’t judge the cake decoration-it was my first cake**

Good substantial tin with well defined features that were visible through the fondant covering. I used a non stick cake release spray and the cake slid out of the tin in one piece. I only used half the mould in my first attempt as per photo.

wow, very impressed with this tin, the cake came out very easily and was evenly cooked. a very weighty well made tin. my only negative point would be the fact the 2 halves dont quite match up, but a bit of creative decorating soon hides it

Brilliant only problem was wobbly when checking it in the oven. If fell backwards and had difficulty straightening so the oven door was open longer than I wanted. Found this a constant problem. Cake come out beautifully

bought this to make my sons birthday cake. It is fab!!Followed all instructions and it baked perfect the first time, and no sticking.would recommend this tin and supplier.

This pan is amazing! Was worried the cake would stick as it's so intricate but it came out no problem whatsoever. Also a good size.

All I can say is brilliant , have made 2 cakes with no problems , easy to use, easy to clean well worth the money .

Quite an expensive purchase, but it's brilliant! Heavy weight, non stick- the skull comes out perfectly everytime.

Have used this cake tin a few times and it's great to use and the resulting cake gives great effective results!

Surprisingly heavy duty metal work. Not used it yet will be on Monday. Time to work out how to decorate it.
