I was looking for the Beanie Boo Hedgehog, Spike (or it's the Classic Beanie Baby one-I think.) and I couldn't find one that existed anymore without it having been used or over priced. This plush is the closest to the appearance of the original beanie baby hedgehog I could find. My 3yo son loves it. Perfect size at 8 inches, just like the photo. There are ones that roll into a ball but this one is super sweet and the spikes are soft but don't appear like fur as they do on some other hedgehog plushies. Wild Republic has become my go to brand for plastic animal figurines and plushies. The price is more than your dollar store plush but the quality is of the utmost importance when it comes to the
