What a delightful fellow! I bought this Dodo toy for myself. I'm 54 and just love these things. I was reading up about natural history and eugenics and always had a fascination for the much misunderstood and ridiculed Dodo. An exotic bird with a symbiotic relationship to certain plants and trees it helped to germinate by scattering their seeds after ingestion. .It turns out that they were highly intelligent, friendly and curious creatures who adapted well to their environment. However as pirates encroached on their paradise they hunted them down for food and later introduced animals that upset the ecological balance of Mauritius their only indigenous habitat and ate all their eggs.

Everyone who's seen this little dodo has fallen instantly in love with her. One tiny criticism of the design: not very stable when placed on her feet. Liable to topple over. Poor little thing. Otherwise, adorable, very well made, lovely materials, very cute expression :-)

Great item , bigger then expected, very soft and my daughter has sensory processing disorder and loves the feel of this toy! She is also obsessed with DoDo's

This is too cute for words and really soft and cuddly. Well made too and great value. My daughter who adores dodos is going to love this at Christmas.

The adorable, fluffy dodo is not extinct, after all! He is really dodo-like, has an expressive face and children of any age at all will love him.

Lovely little gift for myself (adult), very soft and a lovely expression. Quite closely resembles actual dodos.
